The Ghost Recon for it isn't anything like the other Ghost Recon games. The others are third person shooters, this one is more of a top down real time strategy of sorts. From what I can tell from the first two levels, it's turned based action, pretty fun really. I agree with Lee, I think it's probably that sleeper title from the launch releases.

Question for all y'all gamers out there.

I am an X-Box owner. I have 12 games for the X-Box 360 Gaming console (of which I play about 4 of them). However, I want to get a Blue Ray player. Should I consider trading in the X-Box and all the games, and spend about 150 bucks and get a Playstation 3, or should I just get a Blue Ray player?

There are PS3 exclusive games that I want (like MLB the Show, Metal Gear Solid 4, Little Big Planet, etc), but I don't know if I want to spend the money on a new system, especially since the current generation is old, and new systems could be coming out eventually. It might be cheaper to just get a Blue Ray Player eventually.

It really comes down to games, I suppose. What games would you rather play: The Show, MGS4, LBP (All which are FANTASTIC. But don't play MGS 4 without playing 1-3 first. 4 is one of my favorite games, I think) or an xbox exclusive game?

If you don't care about Xbox exclusives, then hop on the Sony train.

X box are apparently anouncing a new disk format for the console.

When the fuck this happen? And unless it means my X-Box would become a Blue Ray player, it still might not be enough. I did the math, and it would cost 150ish, and if you subtract the 60 it would cost to continue my X-Box Live subscription, it would be only 90ish.

As I said in Docs thread, the PS3 exclusives murder X-Boxes, because Halo sucks ass. I've beaten MGS2, and played 3. 4 looked badass and is one of the reasons I've wanted the system. I've gotten all I can out of my 360 now which is why I'm thinking about the switch.

Yeah, I read about the update the day after I made the post you replied to (lol, congrats on replying to a week-old post btw). It's basically going to make it an improvement, but it won't do what I want the system to do, which is play Blu-Rays. More importantly, I'm still on an old-school 360, not the new ones, so it's all but guaranteed that eventually my X-Box will ultimately Red-Rings. I don't want to go through that again, especially since then I might not be able to sell back the console if it Red-Rings.

This has nothing to do with the technological superiorities of PS3. I know PS3 is technologically better. However, I also know that I have a 360, have enjoyed it greatly, but don't want to spend 60 bucks for online anymore, and don't want to deal with a potential red rings, and want the exclusives on PS3 (including Blu-Ray).

As for the week old post comment: SHUT UP!! Unfortunatly, I'm only really able to be on the forums in waves due to work and baby. I always do catching up and go back to where I left off and read anything that I might be interested in during my time off (Non-spam wise). So while it might have been a week old post, IT'S STILL NEW TO ME DAMMIT!!

Anybody played Beyond Good & Evil?? I was thinking of downloading it of XBLA and just wanted to know what to expect. It seems to get love for being an underrated classic but I'd like to hear some opinions.

I feel bad for just now seeing this one. I played Beyond Good & Evil back when it was first released. It was a good game, good story, entertaining gameplay. It's definately something I would recommend to anyone.

And I also feel bad for having just seen this one as well. Most of your Ghost Recon games, PC and console, are all third person squad based shooters. This one for the 3DS is definately different and you don't have to enjoy the other Ghost Recon games to enjoy it. I love playing it.
