Finished Kirby's Epic Yarn yesterday, very good stuff. Wish it were longer, but I'm going to have fun trying to get 100% completion.

Oh and I bought BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger, a PS3 fighting game by the people who made the Guilty Gear games. I haven't played a lot of it but it's good so far. I like the fighting system.

I know the guy that designed the cover art for BlazBlue. I never even knew it was a fighting game though.

Do you really? That's cool. Yeah, I love the Guilty Gear games so I thought I'd give BlazBlue a try. The character designs aren't as cool (And there's no Faust, who is my favorite fighting game ever) but it's still fun. Can't wait until I get an HDTV so I can enjoy it more. Everything looks all smudged on my old set...

Oh, is it the same developer? I played Guilty Gear and had great success button mashing. Character design was pretty mental.

I played a bit of Epic Mickey while I was stateside last week. I enjoyed it but was a little worried about it becoming repetitive quite quickly

Anyone able to assage my fears?

Also, has anyone played Donkey Kong Country Returns yet?

If they are any good, I might invest in a new charger for my Wiimote

Epic Mickey is very samey to itself, whilst in some games it's a good thing, in this it isn't.

Not played DKR yet, heard very good things though.

That's cool. I mean, it's not like I'll actually ever buy a Mortal Kombat game again but it's still nice to know.

IGN also posted some vague rumours about a new Smash Bros. game a while back. Oh, and Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception was announced with trailer - ten seconds of which showed some impressive looking gameplay.

So I downloaded Braid yesterday, along with Pac-Man Championship Edition DX. Pac-Man is of course fun. Braid is fun, too, but some of these time puzzles are impossible!! Very frustrating, but you get a large sense of accomplishment when you figure them out.
