First off, you've had a problem with me for a long time, and I've never known why. Take this chance to enlighten me, please.
I'd also like to know the last time I stopped by to talk about drinking. Maybe you just remember that more. Those are the funniest stories, afterall. NJX vacation in OBX had some drinking stories, but other than that, I know I drop in to chat wrestling and sports above all else.
What was your original point? That I was venting about the idiots on the front page criticizing Nazi mods for doing nothing but enforcing the written rules of the forums, and how you misconstrued that as me trying to "pat myself on the back?" Is that it?

I really have nothing against you. Outside of responding to sub-par posts when I see them, I don't think about you at all. You may feel like I go out of my way to throw you under the bus, but I don't.

The tone of your post seemed to use people's appreciation for hard volunteer work as way to dismiss criticism. If there were valid criticism of the mods (which, to be sure, the main page nonsense was NOT), I could see you using the same gobbledegook to dismiss those criticisms and avoid having a real conversation. It was a lot of patting yourself and the mods on the back and that serves nobody but yourself and the mods. It advances discourse in no way. That's my point. And I don't see what was so offensive about it.
I have no problem conceding to the work the mods and admins here put in. I just don't think leaning on that as a reason to dismiss the little people who have criticisms is endearing.
Reading back my posts, I feel I may not have communicated this as best I could a few pages back. Hopefully I've been clearer here.

I really don't work all that hard. Even when I was a WWE Mod and I did dole out a lot of warnings/infractions, it was as simple as copying and pasting then clicking a few buttons. Not so much hard as it is tedious and fucking boring.
Admins and G-Mods probably do a lot more.

In the old system you would have had a lot more to do. We had mods for sections, as in a wrestling mod and a non-wrestling mod.

It's not hard work. If someone were to call it hard they should be banned, immediately. Time consuming and unpaid? Absolutely. It's volunteer wor... help. Volunteer help sounds better.
You know what you're getting into when you sign up. If you have the time, great, do it. When you no longer have the time, quit. That's my feeling.

What Nick said is true. Until you see how much stuff is done behind the scenes, you have no idea how much stupid stuff we have to deal with. Dagger and Crock clean up so much stuff in their sections it's unreal. You don't see most of it because it's gone by the time people come here every day.
