Fuck The MEM *TNA Impact Spoilers*

I don't see Immortal looking weak.

Immortal - Bischoff, Hogan, Jarrett, Karen Angle, Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, Rob Terry, Gunnar, Murphy, Abyss

Fourtune - Flair, Styles, Roode, Storm, Kazarian

But the angle still sucks my dick.

Only 7 of those listed as Immortal are wrestlers. Gunner and Muphy never looked liked threats to anything, and Abyss is dead. Also, you forgot to add Angle and his crew too.

Plus the title thing KB mentioned.

These other people (Russo and Bischoff) have proven track records, but too much freedom.

The only proven track record I see is one that folded another wrestling company. They aren't given too much freedom; they're just completely disorganized. Look at these negative facts about TNA:

1. Their promo segments are not structured or properly scripted. Most of it is incessant rambling.
2. The matches lack realism. Many watchers love monkey, flippy spots but I see it as nothing more than a fully choreographed dance routine.
3. The storylines have no rhyme or reason. TNA plays checkers instead of chess; they won't look more than 5 feet in front of them to the future. If it can draw quick money, then regardless of the implications it might have on future storylines, it's executed anyway.

All three of these points must be executed properly in order for a pro-wrestling company to keep their heads above water. What good is pro-wrestling without good promos, realistic matches, or storylines that make sense?

Russo also did pretty well for himself in WWF. And this happened, reportedly, while McMahon had a choke-collar on him.

I didn't mean it's only the creative team who has too much freedom. It's everyone. As you said, the promo's aren't structured well, and aren't scripted well either. I go as far as to say they are not scripted AT ALL. Storylines are out of control because Russo doesn't have someone like Vinny Mac breathing down his neck. The place is in total chaos, and I think it has a lot to do with too many people having far too much freedom to do whatever the hell they want.

If you had someone like Vinny Mac over there, cracking the whip and lessening the amount of personal freedom each employee has, they wouldn't be so disorganized.

Russo manged to make WWF work when he had Mick Foley as the fifth best guy on his roster. It's like coaching the 92 Dream Team. I could have coached them and I was 4 at the time. They still would have won the gold medal.

Bischoff has had one idea in his life. One. Other than that it's different names and faces but the same idea: a dominant heel group that takes over and has a businessman as the leader in a big swerve and then they split up from within. That's Bischoff's booking in a nutshell and has been for 15 years.

Exactly.

A modern-day Bischoff is good for one thing: Being an on-screen, reliable, promo guy. He can talk for days and we'd all listen. That is, if he was still bound to a script. His promo last week on Impact ("Numero Uno; that means one") just made me cringe because it looked like he was trying WAY too hard to be an ass hole to the audience and Dixie Carter.

However, when Bischoff was GM of Raw, he was pure gold for his entire stay with WWE.

Sweet mother this has panic button written all over it. TNA has literally taken the angle back to square one and put faction against faction...again. It's now going on it's 3rd year in a row that factions have been feuding in TNA.

THEY ARE:
Fourtune!

What was that about old timers? Sweet Jesus, I can't believe I didn't see it coming.

Yes fucking yes! Their I was thinking that TNA would go onto shit times again like they did at the start off 2010 but once again they actually proved me wrong and have a another great storyline with messed up booking!

Also Ric Flair needs to be the leader of Fortune again because Kazain would be no where if Flair had not been brought in.

I'm still up for Dixy making Jackiz Kirey the booker of TNA. The ideas would still be stupid but you'd never see them coming.

Seriously that is such a cheap shot that even your mum can afford it. Ass hole, butt fucker .

I can't help but go into a fit of girlish giggling everytime I remember Abyss was literally KILLED on Impact. Like, murdered.

As a TNA fan, knowing AJ Styles is a face again, just makes me happy. Balls to everything else.

This, this is what is wrong with TNA. No choke collar. Someone should be employed in that role. No one will be as good as Vince in that role and even with him there, some duds got through.

But someone needs to control Russo, Bischoff, Hogan, and god knows who else is brave to admit that they are on creative in TNA.

Did you read the article on the main page about Matt Hardy? Apparently he wanted a creative spot. Thank god they said no.

Someone with no experience in booking and with highly suspicious personal behaviour? Yeah that is exactly the kind of person you want booking the show.

Experience as a booker is not always a good thing. Vince Russo has extensive booking experience.

What X said. Fuck, if Hardy thinks he can do it I'd give him a shot. I'm sick of Russo and Bischoff doing the exact same things over and over again.

But Matt Hardy has probably never been near a booking meeting, except to go to the vending machine.

Vince Russo is a capable booker when he has someone controlling him.

Where is everyone getting this idea that Russo is good when he has a filter? Just because he was good with Vince doesn't mean he isn't a fucking ****** now. It is possible for people get worse at things you know.

It's common knowledge that Russo had Mcmahon over him while they were working together. And is it coincidence that while in WCW and TNA, Russo has been given credit for lots of terrible angles? And only a few decent ones.

Matt Hardy would be a superior booker if he at least had a unified vision, no matter how downright ******ed it was.

Actually Matt and Jeff booked their own indy, OMEGA, for several years in the 90s. Before they became big WWE stars they were drawing a few hundred to almost every show, which is pretty damn good for an indy in the 90s not named ECW.

Where is everyone getting this idea that Russo is good when he has a filter? Just because he was good with Vince doesn't mean he isn't a fucking ****** now. It is possible for people get worse at things you know.

At this point I'm willing to give anyone a shot, preferably someone NEW. There HAS to be some longtime wrestling fan who is just bursting with creative ideas for angles and storylines---fuck there are thousands of them on the internet. Just grab some writer from Hollywood who's a SERIOUS wrestling fan and give him a shot, TNA needs new blood desperately.

Dutch Mantel was worse than Russo that's for sure. Tommy Dreamer is now a producer. Exactly what does a producer do in a pro wrestling company anyway? I'm not sure I grab the definition of "produce" too well here.

I'm not sure ANYONE is worse than Russo at this point. Dirty Dutch looks like a genius in comparison.
