Final Fantasy

How can you say that a game is better than another without playing both? Go play FF1, which is quite different than the other games before you judge.

I will put it on my list to go find. I have however played FF3 which i will admit is one of my favorite games of all time.

maybe download a emulator. And maybe look for the Final Fantasy Rom? or something like that? Im sure that if your local town has an old game dealership, they will have it. It was released for PS as Final Fantasy Origins.

Every FF > both Kingdom Hears combined. True story. Don't bother repping me tough, because. . . . . .

New school FF > Old school FF.

Almost repped you then i saw that 2nd comment. New ones are alright up till 10. i hate 12 with every fiber in my body.

I looked it up on Amazon just for you. You can get it brand new, instruction manuel and everything for roughly 20 bucks (with shipping). Or you can get it used, for as low as 12 bucks. I would highly advise against used versions though.

Anyway, don't be afraid to buy it online. I've bought several of the older FF games online, and they've all come to me in great condition. Besides, you likely won't find it anywhere else.

Your right, I forgot about 12. That one sucked so much It seems as though I have forced it out of my memory.

Anyway, I wasn't all too serious when I posted that, we were all acting kind ouf silly. Truthfully, 6 is probably my second favorite.

I hold that the majority of people like the final fantasy the played first the most. Hence why with me it's 3, though FF1 is on sale in my local retro shop for £20 on the NES, *HURRY UP PAY DAY*

Tactics was awesome, but its not my favorite. Probably has the best gameplay though and the most longetivity though.

I actually liked 12's setup at the beggining. But then it just seemed like they gave up on the story. Their was little to no character growth, and the only really good character was Balthier, and they didn't even give him enough backstory. Honestly, what the hell did Penelo do in that game? I think she was supposed to fall in love with Vaan at some point, but who knows. The entire story felt sloppy.

Then there's the judges, who had the potential to be great villians, except you barely ever see them. The woman judge is only in 2 cutscenes if I recall correctly, and other than Gabranth, none of the other judges are truly important to the story.

My fave FF game, as I said in a different thread, is FFX. I currently own that, X2, and XII, which I actually didn't mind. Although I agree, the storyline didn't go in a strait enough path. The main charecter wasn't the main charecter, Penelo really had little to do in the game at all, and they got rid of the Aeons (or whatever they're called from game to game) and used theyre names for Airships. That pissed me off greatly.

But I gotta send some love to FFVIII. First one I played, and forever will be my favorite. I would absolutly love to own one of the PS1 Final Fantasy games right now, assuming I can play it on a PS3.

I also own FFIV for the Game Boy, but I only played it for about an hour and got bored. In my defence, I was sitting at an airpost for 5 hours, and I felt it'd be more fun to play a game I was used to instead of a new one. And after that, I just don't lay my game boy anymore. So hopefully someday i get around to playing that game again, cause I['ve heard it was AWESOME.

And Kingdom Hearts was a fun game, what litle I played of it before being forced to return it. I would love to get it again, I liked the idea of the FF-Disney crossover. T'was genius.

And Derge of Cerberus is only good if you can get into the mental state that your not playing a Final Fantasy game lol

I know it started off as really good and somewhere just lost its steam, I still like it though.

My favourite Final Fantasy has got to be 7, although I have got soft spots for Final Fantasy 9 and 12.
