Favorite WWE video game glitches

Just downloaded the Superstar/Move pack for WWE 2k14 which features Big E Langston, Fandango and 30 or so new moves. Playing Universe mode and i make a match for Big E vs Khali at Survivor Series.

Everything going normal then after I hit the big ending, i went to the top rope and for some reason JR's voice comes on "What is Big E Langston thinking? What is he thinking? What is he thinking? What is he thinking?" Repeating a JR soundbyte in a match with Cole and King as commentators. had a good random laugh

With this glitch I was reminded of my favorite glitch of all time to use during a WWE game.

In Smackdown Vs Raw 2006, if you did the Batista bomb/pin combo ontop of a wooden table during a TLC match, the opponent would stay frozen in the pinned state while you climb up and win

Second place is the unlimited table glitch in HCTM

What are you favorites? Or the ones that bugged you the most?

I think it was in one of the early Smackdown games, or maybe WWF Attitude. If you Irish Whipped a Super Heavyweight, they'd run through the ropes before coming back. Good times.

Aw man, that stuff was so bad. I believe it was Warzone and Attitude that did that and wasn't that glitch also in the ECW game since it was virtually the same game as Attitude but with a different roster?

My favorite was when I was playing Smackdown: Shut Your Mouth. I created a Rey Mysterio and I was facing Jericho in a cage match. The whole match I was determined to do a hurricanrana of the top of the cage, when I finally hit the hurricanrana it threw Jericho through the cage to the floor but the match didn't stop, it kept going. Because Jericho was on the floor he couldn't get back into the ring but what made it more frustrating is that I couldn't climb the cage after that so the match was stuck in limbo until I quit. After trying it a few more times with a few different characters I came to the realization that you should NEVER do a hurricanrana off the top of the cage, it fucked up your match every time.

I liked the one that was on a Smackdown vs. Raw a couple years ago where you could fight in the area to the side of the crowd and you could do some move (idr which) and you could end up fighting amongst the crowd in the people it was hilarious and fun.

2k14 I have picked Goldberg and had a guy down in the middle of the ring, walk to the corner to do the spear finisher, press the button and Goldberg runs the opposite way out of the ring through the turnbuckles and then reappears in the ring with the opponent frozen in the dazed state waiting for the spear. This has happened more than once.

In one of the old games, Smackdown 1 or 2, I remember Bubba Ray Dudley just started getting bigger and bigger until he took up the whole ring and eventually the whole screen, then the game locked up.

Yeah a similar thing happened in smackdown vs raw 2006. I remember playing a cage match with my best friend and when I got him down from the top of the cage as he was trying to climb out both our wrestlers fell out of the cage and again the match didn't end.

One player could walk through cage and the ropes to get back in and out of the ring as long as the other wrestler stayed out of the ring.
The ring bell was available as a weapon too. Once both wrestlers got back in the ring the match resumed as a normal cage match. I ended up winning the match from memory.

The worst glitch I've had was in the PS1 version of wwf attitude. If you did the camel clutch or a turnbuckle shoulder to the gut they would just stay in that move sequence and you would have to quit the match.

With the camel clutch you could get out of it if your opponent submitted, then it would end the match.

However if it was a war match you were screwed as they'd just stay like that.

No Mercy. Tag match. If you hit the stunner in the ring while someone jumped off the top to the outside, the person jumping would sometimes warp in the ring mid air & take the stunner instead. It was great because the original person that took the finisher would float through the ropes still stuck in the sequence.

Backstage was fun also. If you found the sweet spot in front of the bar, you could hit a running attack with a weapon & go through it & end up at the front of the screen. The weapon always fell out of your hands when you phased through the bar & if you timed it right, someone could pick it up & meet you in the middle with their own attack.

I miss No Mercy. I might just have to go find a N64 so I can play that & Perfect Dark again. Not as fun as Goldeneye, but we used to hit people with the tranquilizer gun & chase them toward the laptop sentry gun cuz they couldnt really see anything. Good times.

I can't remember any from earlier games, but in WWE 13 the characters would glitch out and turn into this strange stretched out version of themselves. Sheamus I remember going through the ropes and his image was so mangled up. It made me nervous actually.

In my old Smackdown vs RAW copy, Charlie Haas doesn't react to low blows or kicks to the dick. Many puns were made replacing "has" with "Haas" in phrases like "Charlie has no balls", usually followed by my 10 year old self giggling like a schoolgirl. Good times, good times.

In Wrestlemania 2000, Chris Jericho came out and held his arms up facing the crowd instead if having his back toward the crowd like he always has. Not a glitch, just a fuck up in development. But if you changed his music to Gangrel's and entrance video to someone I don't remember, he would come out and awkwardly turn around on the entrance ramp.

I can't remember which game it was, but there was one where you could jump out of the ring whilst in a Royal Rumble match and get weapons and bring them back in. That was fun.
