I don't believe that the WWE is
that high on him, despite the fact he was the last ECW champ. A 3 minute run with a defunct title does not exactly scream 'top guy', IMO.
Regardless of this, i do see some potential in Big Zeke and i believe that he would flourish more on SD,
IF they relegate Shad to Superstars/FCW (which may as well be the case as of the two, JTG has had more TV time since the break up of Cryme Tyme). I just feel Shad's and Zeke's gimmicks of big, serious, black heels would take away from both men's individuality and this would hamper Zeke's push.
Just as people have said before.. please put a mouthpiece on him before he makes his return...
He has no chance to get anywhere without some type of mouth piece.
my pick:
Abraham Washington - We haven't seen Washington for some time now, and what better way to get under the skin of fans that have Abe back. The man had so much charisma and drew a lot of heat on his short stint of ECW. I wouldn't mind seeing Abe bring in another guy and have him and Zeke tag up. Either way, I don't see Zeke' making it very far in the E without a manager.
I think this is the deal breaker, right there. I may have been the only person who enjoyed Washington's work on ECW and i think having Abe be the comedic sidekick next to Zeke's straight man would be an interesting combination. Think along the lines of Armando Alejandro Estrada/Umaga; except Zeke could actually talk at the end of the promos.
I think teaming Zeke on his return would be a step backwards as his stint in ECW saw him break away from Kozlov and gain singles gold. I think a singles run on SD! (which is short on heels IMO) would be the best option; maybe have him rekindle his feud with Christian before starting feuds with MVP, Hardy or even possibly Kingston.
