Edge vs. Undertaker Fued

I Think an edge vs undertaker would be An awesome rivarly it hasnt been done before and both the guys know how to put on really good matches it sounds like the WWE are starting make good storylines. the one thing i dont get though is if Edge and The Undertakes are fueding with each other who will they have chasing the title?

Finally a fued worth caring about (well a smackdown fued atleast) I anticapated this match happening after edge screwd the Undertaker out of the World Heavyweight Championchip on Smackdown along with everyone else. These 2 superstars are the best Smackdown has to offer and i could not be more excited about the outcome and the storylines to follow!
As for chasing the title it could be triple threat rivalry, rumour has it Umaga is coming to smackdown he might chase it who knows? hey Chris Jericho could go on Smackdown! there are so many things that can happen, what about kane that would be good.

Personally I think the Kane ship has sailed.. sad, as I think he can still offer something, but just my humble opinion.
If Taker Vs Edge takes place at Mania 24.. for the first time ever.. I really wouldn't be able to guess the outcome of a Taker match at Mania, I'd be on the edge of my seat.. pun intended!
They're definitely going to build up Edge and Taker for 'Mania. I can see Undertaker taking time off for the rest of the year, setting the stage for one of his famed returns at the Royal Rumble, allowing Edge to win the World Title in the meantime. These two for the title at 'Mania with both streaks on the line would be one helluva angle for Smackdown.
I thought that was a terrible way for Edge to make his return. It should be Taker who goes after Edge. It was Edge who defeated Taker, not the other way round. He's supposed to be a cowardly heel, why would he go after one of the biggest, scariest stars in the company? He should be avoiding him. Edge coming out and destroying Taker made no sense to me.
The match is something to look forward to though. I see Edge getting the title back this month or the next. While Taker goes away until Rumble time. They need to keep these two apart for the next two months at least. Have Edge defeat Batista then Kane. It was Kane who injured him in the first place after all.

It's quite simple; Edge is a heel (obviously) and doesn't like The Undertaker and is apparently pissed off that he didn't keep The Undertaker out for good. Edge won the World title from The Deadman and he is going to make sure 'Taker doesn't make it to the top. Obviously it was only an attack that took place at the 'Series and I'm sure an explanation from Edge will come up such as The Undertaker is someone he wants to keep out of action for good and will make sure that will happen. I heard Edge is slated for a long promo on SmackDown! and obviously the reason behind his attack will be told.

in my opinion I would like to see this happen. maybe edge "injures" The Undertaker. Then the Undertaker comes in around RR in #1 and defeats everyone. he then beats edge(the man who beats batista) at wrestlemania.

C'mon none of u guys are sick of the "taker gets his ass whipped then head games ensue until the next big ppv?" how many times can they use that they been doin git since Kane buried him alive and then it began at the RUMBLE 04...it's about to b rumble 08 and we get the same tired storyline?
I want to see this play out too but not starting now...it's too much time in between

Everyones gotta realize Takers streak wont ever end it will make too many people in the organization mad at management. The taker vs edge feud will be on of the best feuds that has been done in a long time. Edge and taker might last until summerslam with one epic showdown. Im feeling a buried alive match.

Would the way that Edge returned set up for a new kind of heel? I agree with Jake that Edge makes a great "scared heel" or whatever you want to call it. Would he be able to prosper and stay in the main event scene as a tough guy? I feel like the promo on Friday will get the ball rolling. This feud has the potential to be an absolute classic, though, I do know that.
I think that theory is blown out of the water this past Friday night. A tough guy wouldn't be made to look like a bitch in front of millions of people, a tough guy wouldn't be made to run away from the ring as his girlfriend gets beaten up.
Besides, there's really no other heel than a cowardly heel. The classic heel behaviour is that a heel never attacks unless he has an advantage. Him attacking Undertaker at Survivor Series made sense in one way, that he had an advantage over Taker then and it was a good time to strike. However, it doesn't make sense in an even bigger way that he was, like Jake said, going after the biggest, baddest face (or faces, if you count Batista) in the company. well earlier this year edge did had a short-lived feud with batista.. and i found it boring beyond belief, edge didnt win a match cleany, which solidifies my point that i make in other threads that he is at a US title standard. he always slimed himself out of matches in a usual heel manor...but when heels are champs they still usually show their ability, if he feuded with taker...i just cant see taker getting pinned 1-2-3 after a spear...i just cant see it...i can see there being a steel cage match and taker gets screwed or something...but i just dont think the finishers in this feud will be like edge and batistas....just ridiculous!
I like both Edge and Taker, and would like to see them both go to Wrestlemania. I think their styles work well together, and the characters too. I do agree with Y 2 Jake on this one though, they did make Edge return in a weird way. They had him attack Taker, which is not really his character, he plays the cowardly heel, it should be the other way around. I hope they continue this till Wrestlemania, It would be interesting to see who would give up their winning streak. The title should be in this picture not with Batista, Batista would benefit from a feud with a bigger guy in my opinion, like Umaga.
Edge and the Undetaker is going to be the best feud that SD! has seen in a real long time. When it finally does really get rolling that is. I expect to see Batista drop the title realitivly soon and fade out of the title picture to feud with some nobody leaving Edge and Taer to fight over the belt. I can see Edge wining it as early as Friday and as late as Armageddon. When he does win it I expect to see Taker come out lay out Edge and hold the title, thus really starting the feud. Batista will get his rematch and I think be involved in a triple threat at some point only to loose as Edge retains. Possibly a Batista Bomb to Taker that Edge takes advantage of. I can see Edge and Taker continuing on to Wrestlemania where Taker will win the belt. I see the two continuing to Backlash as well, but not sure how much longer. It could end at Mania though in a major gimmick match... Burried Alive perhaps?

This is going to be one great feud. I think Undertaker can easily bring back all the talent Edge has, and let it shine out. Undertaker is a really good wrestler, no one can deny it, and sometimes it takes a good wrestler to show all the talent of another.

See, that has zero to do with Edge and his legitimacy as a World Champion. That's WWE shitting booking of heels. WWE makes their heels weak as hell and just cowardly. It's dumb, childish booking like that keeps the WWE as a laughing stock. The WWE is so afraid that, god forbid, if a heel gets a clean win over a face that it weakens said face. It's stupid booking.
Now as far as the feud. This feud has been coming for a good long while now, and I'm glad to see it. I don't like that these two will be in a match together at Armageddon. I think keeping them apart as long as possible with little or no interaction is the best idea. Edge wins the title at Armageddon, Taker wins the number one contendership at no Way Out.
This will easily be match of the night at Wrestlemania 24. There is no matching possible of two guys in the world today that could beat the potential of that match.
