This is a third round match in the ECW Region. It is a standard wrestling match held under ECW Rules. It will be held at the Wells Fargo Center, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Rules: A normal wrestling match

This match takes place one week after round 2.

Far too much interference to make much from this, but The Rock did beat the Big Show.

Still a lot of interference but a lot less. Plus the Rock PUNCHED THE BIG SHOW THROUGH A TABLE. I mean seriously, wtf. The Big Show did have the Rock beat at one point, but once again, The Rock was booked to win.

The Big Show has never been as big a star as the Rock, and never been big enough (no pun intended) to beat The Rock. It's close but I vote Rock.

Also, I like how in the ECW region, a normal match is a gimmick.

ECW rules gives big show a big advantage if you ask me!! Granted the rock holds the record for giving the most chair shots in a match... But he's never been a hardcore champion like Big Show (three times) AND the ECW belt!!

Rock may have 16 titles to his name and a triple crown achievement, but Show has 19 and is a grand slam champion!! First guy to hold every world title on offer!! Ecw, WCW, WWE, WHC!! They both started at the same time roughly, but clearly one has achieved alot more!!

As the giant, at his prime, the big show was indestructable! The only edge the rock has going into this is he had the charisma to get the push... and Big show still got more done in the end!

The Rock wins. Because he's better than Big Show.

I know BS has wrestled in ECW and was their champion when the WWE ran that poor excuse of a show, but The Rock's owned Big Show on a consistent basis. Interference or not, Rock is faster, more mobile, and has better agility than a giant who doesn't run fast.

Eventually, Show will make a stupid mistake, and Rock will capitalize and pin show after many shots to the head with a chair, waffle iron, and a box of Bisquick that's been frozen for a spell.

Vote Rocky.

The fact that Big Show is in the ECW region gave him a bit of advantage, but he's going up against Rocky. This is the guy who handcuffed Mankind's hands behind his back then smashed him in the head 17 times. He's done the Rock Bottom on steel chairs and ring steps, to 1-2-3 counts. He could take down the big man and soften him up enough to get the pinfall.

There are a few stipulations that would favour Big Show. Unfortunately for him, this isn't one of them.

The Rock is just better than Big Show, its as simple as that.

Yeah Big Show was WWECW Champion, but that belt was worthless at the time. He was Hardcore Champion too, but that belt was worn mainly by jobbers, Show only got the belt as he had nothing else to do. What was The Rock doing while Show was defending the Hardcore title at WM? That's right, wrestling in the main event with Stone Cold!

Plus, Rock has shown plenty of times that he can live in the hardcore environment. The I Quit match with ECW legend Mick Foley shows the brutal, sadistic side of The Rock, when he handcuffed Foley's hands behind his back and caved his head in with countless chair shots.

I could see Show getting the early advantage here, but The Rock's speed, aggression and heart will get him the win here. Show is always a guy who nearly gets there, but the bigger star always beats him. That is the case here again.

Christian has also been Hardcore Champion and ECW Champion, does that mean he can beat the Rock in such a stipulation?

If anything, the ECW region favours Rocky more than Show, since chairs (or any other weapon for that matter) can be used as an equaliser to bring the big man down, working over his legs to take out his balance.

The Big Show has size and strength but the Rock has endurance and stamina. Rock wins.

It doesn't matter if this was in ECW, WWE or on the moon, The Rock would win. Big Show's whole career has been a lesson in building someone up, so someone can come and topple him. The Rock is the sort of person who does it. One of the biggest names in wrestling history, he totallly outshone his and Big Show's shared prime.

Giants like Big Show are built so guys like Rock can defeat them and go on to bigger stardom. Big Show, or Giant as I would like to see him in this match, would dominate most of it while the Rock gets his John Cena on. But somehow, someway, Rock comes through with the triumphant victory.

PS:Why is everyone continually talking about weapons when the match is issued as a regular match?

thank you ^. I vote for rocky here, he is quite simply better than the big show ever was. Rock has him covered in just about every aspect except for strength, but he could use his speed to combat that. Rock in 15 mins

Big Show has spent the better part of his career jobbing to guys a lot less talented than The Rock. He's not as consistent a winner as Rock. Rock is simply the better man here and without a stipulation that favors big show the better man will win.

Reason people are talking about weapons is bc this is regular match yet held under ECW rules.



No matter where this is Rock wins. Match history has proven the point here. Show may be dominant, but against Rock he has lost multiple times. The ECW rules only help Rock as opposed to Show. This gives Rock the ability to snap off a few chair shots to the head and that will take Show down. Rock gets thrown around for a bit, tries to finish him but cant. Rock grabs a chair, and with 3-4 nice shots- Show is out long enough for a peoples elbow.



Rock wins and half the crowd left to get nachos because they knew the outcome.

Ah alot of you guys are using the old "built up to get knocked down" arguement here and well... This isnt the final! Big show gets through, only to get knocked down in the end!

Asides from a short period at the beginning of his career in WCW, Paul (the Giant, Big Show) Wight hasn't really been portrayed as unstoppable. Once he gets to a certain level of superstar he always ultimately falls. The Rock, on the other hand, is the polar opposite - asides from a relatively short period of his career ("Die, Rocky, Die"), he has always been portrayed as being capable of going over anyone.

Throw in their genuine kayfabe history and I struggle to put over Show. Even when the stip is taken into account (which should benefit the bigger, more powerful combatant), the Rock has been the aggressor in arguably the most brutal segment ever seen in the American big leagues - if he was willing to cave in Foley's head, Show's big mellon is an even greater target to knock out of the park.
