Domestic football - spam version

So, Costa's picked up the biting baton from Suarez it seems. Looked more like an aggressive nuzzling lick to be honest so it'll be interesting to see if he does face any further action.

-not back pedalling
-not saying its political correctness

merely pointing out that in society there are people that have dumb ideas, most will not act upon these ideas but when alcohol gets involved they will act on them. Is it an excuse? No. Will worse things be said at a football game? It's relative (not political correctness). Which is what my main point is, what is offensive to one person can be hilarious to someone else (THAT IS NOT ME SAYING THE CHANTS WERE FUNNY, because guess what I havent even heard them). Take my comment that has offended you guys for an example, you guys all hated it but in the right environment there is a place for that kind of humour.

As awful as Dundee United's season has been this year (and we've had a right pisser of a season), it has almost been made up by the potential Leicester title win. Please don't fumble now and let bloody Spurs win the title. I have to work with several of their less than illustrious fan base and it would be oh so painful.

Spurs are my team but I still think Leicester will hold on now. Newcastle might be a slippery one tonight though. A new manager can often give a team a new lease of life and get some results early on. And Newcastle are not that bad of a team. With the right manager in place, I think Newcastle will stay safe. It's a win win for me tonight...

Improved performance, a lot to work on but I'd gutted I didn't do my £10 16-1 bet on Okazaki first goal scorer Leicester win as I'd been going on about all day.

Though the matched is summed up by Vardy kicking the ball out to get a Leicester corner really.

I ditched Walters for Albrighton. Switched out Ighalo for Defoe so hopefully one of my subs pays off.

Also, am I the only one who hears a high(ish) pitched buzz whenever they watch MOTD?

Was really shocked by that news. Where does everyone think he ranks in the pantheon of greats? Most probably put him in the top ten, some in the top five, I'm sure there are those that put him amongst the top three or even rank him at number one.

European players, top 10 maybe. Probably ahead of Bergkamp and Van Der Sar but don't know how he stacks up against Gullitt and Van Basten if I'm honest.

Very difficult to compare eras, although I am firmly in the camp of Messi and Ronaldo being the best players ever as they play in the modern era - fitter, stronger, playing against better competition.

It is also very difficult because most of those now talking about Cryuff did not see him or Pele or Best play.

Speaking of top tens, I found out recently that Maradona lives in Dubai. There aren't many people I'd rather get a picture with.

Most English footballers get paid far too much IMO, £20,000 a week to play football? On what Planet is that justified? Especially when Police Officers, Doctors etc get that a YEAR and their jobs are considerably more important than football?!
