:lmao:

Mitrovic in for a medical, Mbemba likely and the rumours of Austin won't go away. I'd be over the moon with those signings.

Giving a player who seemingly nobody else who could afford him wants more than twice what he was offered and buying them for nearly double your original offer is awful. The only way this will ever look like a shrewd deal is if he ends up being in the Messi/Ronaldo level of ability.

Even if he has that talent he'll never reach that level because he doesn't have the work ethic. I can't wait for him to ask City for a mid-season holiday and see what happens.

Arsenal supporter here who hasn't been following the game properly in a few years but would like to get back into it.

Real Madrid held an open training session at my University just the other day! I was rehearsing about half a kilometre away. Only to realise it was going on just as it was ending!

When was that? Cant imagine why they were in bundoora, I thought they had been running everything at AAMI Park and then held an open session at the G

While there have definitely been some inflated transfer prices in recent years, I think if City or anyone else shell out anything close to the figures being bandied about for Kevin de Bruyne, it will take the cake

In a way, the figures being suggested for De Bruyne make more sense than those being suggested for Stones.

If Di Maria does leave, which looks pretty likely now, I don't think it will hamper United too much given that they played their best football last season without him. Still be sad to see him go without him getting close to the high-levels of consistency he showed at Real.

How the fuck does it take 8 days for the FA to put a panel to see if someone is eligible for a visa. Let alone one who has already been playing in the EU?

For those playing the official epl fantasy league, what do you think of the new chips and changes to the wildcard uses?

Not sure if 2 weeks of bench uses (full bench points + 2-5-3 formation) is enough for me to not use the same crap bench routine unless there is another Ramsey or Harry Kane of seasons past.

I think I am going to be pissed if I lose a cup match due to my opponent playing a gimmick chip.

So...who's everyone's pick to win it all?

My pick's Arsenal. They seem stacked in every position except defensive mid.

I can see Man U or Chelsea getting it. Arsenal seem to choke a bit too much and Man City just don't seem up for it.

I feel Chelsea has the best first 11 and great wing back ups. But Costa and his back ups are all equally fragile. They were lucky last season with injuries.

Arsenal is always unlucky with injuries but they have enough back ups in every position to cover for that except for Coquelin at DCM. If he's out then Arsenal's probably done.

Words can't even describe how hilarious I find Arsenal fans this week as opposed to last week.

Cech is my fantasy keeper, at least I've a good backup in Courtois :lmao:

That was the most excited I've been watching a Newcastle match since we beat Hulll back in January. It was fun and you can see the new players are up for it and the old ones are revitalised.
