United can still win....at least we signed Di Maria

Any bets on the last team to pick up a point? Palace, Burnley or QPR is a tough choice but I think i'll go with Burnley

Manchester United will not win the league. Di Maria won't help this.

Whenever I predict the league I always try to make a somewhat ballsy pick with the winner or the fourth place and put a bet on it, instantly regretting it this year. As usual.

To be fair Rhodes signed a new contract earlier in the summer...that and, of course British players come at a premium for reasons. Sigh, we should've sold Andy Robertson for more money.

EDIT: And in the weird world of football...http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/28889519

You really should have, he's been immense for us so far. Compared to how much Man Utd (a team who aren't even in Europe) paid for Shaw we've got a cracking deal for a young British left back.

If Manchester United was a typical British family on Bank Holiday Monday:

LVG: It's a great time for DIY. The neighbour's dog keeps shitting in the garden, we need to buy a fence. Please nip down to B&Q and get one, should be about £100.

Ed goes off to B&Q, comes back.

LVG: Did you get the fence?

Ed: No, but I bought a jacuzzi for £1500

I'm listening to 606 from a couple of nights ago. Oh my goodness, the meltdown of the Man United fans is hilarious. "I'll never watch us again..." Ian Wright, surprisingly, is spot on saying "You can't just support them when they're winning and then give up when they aren't..."

In an update it turns out that apparently it is Manchester United's God given right to produce six or seven world beaters every generation just as they did with the Class of 92' or so say some of their *ahem* loyal fans.
