Domestic football - spam version

absolutely fuck all in the first half of the Burnley-United in terms of the final 3rd. A couple of good moves but outside of David Jones' two chances and Van Persie's shot off of Di Maria's long ball it hasnt looked a goal would be scored.

This is honestly relegation form.

Two draws out of three games isn't but they were terrible (again). The teams they've played are teams Man U should be beating.

How they're playing is the concern though.

Pardew needs to go, he's spent eh week saying "Crystal Palace will score at St James'" how does that fill the players with confidence?

I nearly put a tenner on Aarons scoring. His debut goals at U18 and U21 have been against Palace.

Also well done Stoke, Shawcross has been fucking great this season.

Diabolical week in the fantasy league and Charlton miss out on three away points at Brighton after an injury time equaliser. Fuck's sake.

You have to give Arsenal credit for playing so well against Leicester with only ten men. Because I do not consider Yaya Sanogo a player. He's basically Per Mertesacker played out of position without the intelligence.

Well there goes my no. 1 spot in the forums fantasy league :(

I hate deadline day.

Why would Monaco let Falcao go on loan?
Why are Newcastle sending out one of their CB's on loan when it's an area we need work on? Why's it not Steven Taylor?

Monaco are loaning him out becuase technically they'll make more money, loan fee and then the transfer fee

And at least they went out and signed another defensive minded player in Blind

Why on earth would we put Yanga out on loan. This club never fails to baffle me.

Struggling to see why Falcao would want to go to Man U.

Welbeck to Arsenal is confirmed. Reaction seems negative but I think that could be a very good move for him and Arsenal.

I think so, people forget how young he is as well. Can generally read the game well when he wants to. Needs some consistency though.

Alan Pardew, Transfer Genius
1. Bring in a crapload of French players because they're cheap
2. Sell the best 2
3. Keep the rest

Why are Newcastle fans so against Pardew anyway? He's no world beater but he isn't a horrible manager either.

A few points on our transfer window:

-We've essentially replaced the Mexican Darren Bent and Danny Welbeck with one of the best strikers in the world.
-If you told me at the start of the window that we'd sign di Maria and Falcao then I would have walked away and called you a muppet. Certainly puts paid to the idea that we can't attract the best players in the world without Champions League football.
At the start of the window I thought we'd get Blind, Shaw, Vermaelen and William Carvalho. What we ended up with is much better.
-With Michael Keane being loaned out, I think LvG will be moving to 4 at the back pretty soon.
-Boggles the mind how much different our XI against QPR could be than it was against Swansea.

Fucking Falcao. Falcao.

That Welback guy looks kind of decent as a striker for England.

Could he be Sturridge ver. 2.0 for Aresnal after being given a run as a central striker? Loved how Arsenal stole him from Spurs on deadline day.
