Domestic football - spam version

United face Ajax and City face Porto in the Europa League. Pretty big ties quite early on as Ajax and Porto could have been 2 contenders to make it far. They still can of course, but with only half of those 4 teams going through at this early stage may not be great for the competition.

Stoke getting Valencia will be very interesting. Valencia are capable of really turning on the style, especially at the Mastella so it will be good to see how their free-flowing football philosophy shapes up compared to Stoke's more robust and gritty style.

Arsenal will face AC Milan in the Champions League which again is quite an intriguing tie. While Arsenal did win at the San Siro last time these 2 met, the changes in both teams from then are quite dramatic.

Chelsea have a tough tie with Napoli which will really test their credentials to win the competition.

Overall, the English teams in both comps will have their work cut out for them, which should make for some fantastic games.

Predictions time on who I think will go through and proceed to the next round.

Lyon v Apoel Nicosia - Apoel.

Napoli v Chelsea - Chelsea.

AC Milan v Arsenal - AC Milan.

FC Basle v Bayern Munich - Bayern.

Bayer Leverkusen v Barcelona - Barcelona

CSKA Moscow v Real Madrid - Madrid

Zenit St Petersburg v Benfica - Benfica

Marseille v Inter Milan - Marseille

The commentators think getting beat 1-0 off Spurs is going forward.

:lmao:

Suarez is banned for 8 games. I wonder who Liverpool will play up front against Newcastle? Bellamy and Carroll? Balls.

It is a joke, racism in football has no place. Should have been longer. But what can you do about it?

Suarez. The dark chocolate of football. You know he is good, but he tastes so bitter and looks like a cunt. Yeah, that sums up my feelings for Suarez.

I don't think Roberto Martinez said it, but someone raised the point that Suarez said the term (whatever it was) because he heard some United players saying it to Evra during the game. Martinez was bringing up cultural differences as the reason Alcaraz spat at the Wolves player a few weeks back. Not a great excuse for Suarez considering how long he's played in Europe though.

I've heard the same thing about "negrito" being a somewhat affectionate term in Spanish. Tim Vickery on the Beeb admitted that Spanish just doesn't translate nicknames well. I can't believe the club and the player didn't bring that up and I don't want to believe that this won't be reduced on appeal. January was a massive month for us. I wouldn't underestimate Liverpool though Lee. Carroll is a shit fit for our system but Bellers has been incredible (a bargain second only to Enrique) and we are gelling really well. All we need to for Carroll to fire and for Downing to spark and we will be top notch.

On another note, our team has hit the bar 17 times this season. I've never known a team to have such bad luck with the woodwork.

The evidence against Terry is so strong because he got caught saying it. On the same term, he is done for the rest of the season. And will he still be England captain? Probably, the cunt.

Luis Suarez is a cunt. I hate using that word, but it sums him up so well. He's a diving, racist, arrogant little shit and he got better than he deserved by not being, as Lee stated, banned for a lifetime. The FA's a joke, but if they have undisputed evidence that Suarez was uttering a racist slur in a malicious way, then he should be punished to the full extent of the law.
