Bad karma for stealing Pedro?
Bad karma for hoarding a shit-ton of players and going loan crazy?
Bad karma for not realising what AVB was trying to do a couple years ago by reducing Terry's playing time?
Bad karma for being cocky with their transfer activity and assuming Stones joining them was a formality?
Bad karma for Eva Carneiro?
Bad karma for Diego Costa being a gaping cunt of a man?

The likelihood is that it isn't one of those things but something else behind the scenes, which makes it better.

The Premier league in general just seems so poor this year. Every time I think one of the Manc teams or Arsenal are going to start putting a run together they end up dropping points to a really piss poor team. Leicester being up there is comical but good for the league I think, the little teams getting better can only be a good thing but no doubt they'll end up on a massive losing streak shortly after Christmas and end up finishing 10th.

That's exactly why I'm loving it. Normally by this point of the season the top 4 or 5 are clear, and it's always the same bloody 4 or 5. This season there's just a hint of that monopoly being broken. The smaller teams now have so much money coming in that even they can buy decent players from abroad.

Whilst the smaller teams have clearly improved, it is also quite clear that the 'same bloody 4/5 teams' at the top have dropped in quality within the last couple of years.
More competition, but lesser quality, lMO.

Basically we're all hoping that one of the smaller teams can remain in the mix come the last third of the season. Southampton looked like they were going to pull it out until that last third where they totally fell away whilst Swansea were coming up fast but left it too late.

The interesting thing of course is that Chelsea have fallen so far and so fast that a gap has genuinely opened up at the top there for someone, whether it be one of the usual candidates (Liverpool, Spurs, maybe even Everton) or a dark horse (Leicester, West Ham, Southampton).

All that said, City and Arsenal are as horribly inconsistent as each other and Man United are playing attritional football at its worst and yet they will no doubt make up three of the top four spots. Whoever wins the league will do so, more than likely, out of a bit of luck in this upcoming winter period.

There are reports that CR7 wants to get out of Real Madrid. Dunno if those reports are true but if they are Man U are hoping to get him back...

Is this report from 2013, 14, 15 or 16? Has been linked there every transfer window for the last 3 or 4 years. Next you will be saying there is reports of Ibra going to United

It doesnt matter, the rumours (just like the ibra rumour) have been around for years now. Why would Madrid want to sell him? They dont have to sell him unless someone pays a billion dollars for him, which is never going to happen. Its all garbage

"Do you want a free ticket to the match Lee?"

"Nar you're alright, 6-0 in the pissing rain will not be fun"

On top of Liverpool's continued problems in breaking down a packed defense (essentially Newcastle played like the away side), today we saw an example of the potential problem of the pressing game of Klopp, particularly on the flanks.

Three or four midfielders and defenders race out to the line to pressurise and all it takes is them not to win the ball immediately and one little inside pass leaves the rest of the defense one on one. It happened three or four times today, including the first Newcastle goal.

Today was a good day. Chelsea finally getting their shit together would be really appreciated tomorrow, but my gut and brain both say Leicester will win by 2 or 3.

I was at work and a Spurs fan was taking the piss all day. My reaction on the 94th minute when I jumped out my seat and shouted get it up you you fucking cockney cunt was worth it alone.

"I want Leicester to win so we can stay above Chelsea." What year is this?

Dammit, Chelsea. Even with the rest of London begrudgingly cheering for you, you can't get it right.

On the bright side, if Chelsea do badly enough, Abramovic might get bored, sell the club, and piss off back to Russia. That'd be swell.
