Domestic football - spam version

I'll be shocked if Charlton don't have a new manager by the end of the week. I don't think it's delusions of grandeur to expect better than losing 3-0 at home to Preston North End.

It pisses me off that the FA say "yeah wrong call, sorry fella's" when it could relegate one team and keep another up. That and get me a lot of stick from mackem housemates.

Optus decided to buy the rights for the next season of EPL in my country. Effectively this means the only real way to watch it will be through mobile devices with that provider, or if you switch your home phone plan to get their Apple TV ripoff thing. Odd move considering it's only the 4th biggest sport in the country and most of the fans won't go through the bother of switching every service they have just to watch soccer.

They'll create an app for things like PS4s, X1s and all that so you can just register and be able to watch it regardless of provider.

I hope they don't do that and watch as nobody swaps over and they waste $50,000,000. Fuck those pricks, dont fuck with my foxtel deal

People are already considering boycotting it, which is great because it just means going to bed before 2AM.

They must be getting major sales from that Ricky gervais ad because that along with developing an app on consoles would be costing them huge cash. They won't get anything out of this deal and foxtel won't lose a single percent of their customers either.

Meanwhile in Scotland, we've got a new manager whop shows some real passion and fire, got murdered in his first two games against two of what is likely the top three this term and won his latest with a noticeable improvement (though still fairly dire).

Now we're potentially signing the Japanese national goalkeeper...Mixu must have some contacts to be pulling stuff like this out of his hat. Fingers crossed for international clearance.

I can't name Charlton's interim manager. I think it'd be as effective, and substantially funnier, if we had an anonymous manager who communicated through Jason Euell's laptop and made substitutions seemingly at random.

Don't think Mixu'll get working papers. Good luck though!

When you've got a player called Ghoochannejhad having a Karel should be easy!

What? I guess thinking in Football Manager terms was a bit of a stretch?

Celtic have had numerous players from the far east play for them (Nakamura in his pomp amongst them), the keeper's played in Belgium for the last few years and he has well over the required number of caps to qualify. Truly there should be no reason why he can't be cleared, aside from y'know, some sort of criminal issues etc...

That said we have a habit of fluffing these sorts of things or them being total duffs when they do go through (Wesley Sneijder's brother earlier this season for instance).

I saw that Paul Pogba's brother scored for Partick the other week. Still funny to imagine the Pogba family catch-ups comparing Turin with Partick.

Our keeper problem is not good as well. Second season in a row. I wonder what our training facilities are like, too many injuries.
