The way he is playing, the rumours I have heard about Glen Johnson wanting out of Anfield are becoming increasingly easy to believe.
There is part of me that thinks that maybe he is the scapegoat for Liverpool's passing out from the back but he has given the ball away so often this season it is unreal. He dithers in possession and turns back into trouble so often that he is starting to become a liability. Even if he does not go, I could see him out of the team once Flanagan and Enrique are fit again, regardless of one of them having to play out of position.
That Liverpool had to play Agger at left back shows that there is little real depth in the squad and Brendan Rogers was keen to make that point by naming two debutants on the bench and then even bringing Brad Smith on.
