Last time we played Brighton I watched it with Tasty and his gay flatmate who's not really gay. Some Geordie blokes tried to start trouble and when they found out who my dad was they shut the fuck up.
Robin Van Persie, you wee gem! Extra games aren't ideal but they beat going out early again.
Good to see Joe Cole back, he's been unlucky with his time at Liverpool but he's a decent player.
Brighton were brilliant today. Their opponents were supposed to be a Prem team but they didnt look like one or play like one. The red card didnt change things.
The Amex is a great ground for the club too.
I just hope Liverpool show up and do a job tomorrow. I dont want anything spectacular from them, just to get through.
Considering we have 10 players injured we weren't a premiership team. I think we played 5 'first team' players today and even that is pushing it. It was never a red in a million years and the Amex stadium is shit.
Brighton were not brilliant at all, I can recall three shots and 2 went in. They were average but newcastle were shit.
Get off your high horse about the supposed premier team that you failed to beat at home this season. Hope you get done over you cunt.
Look at our team have you heard of Dummet? Tavenir? Abeid? Exactly, most of the people in the pub hadn't. It was reserves at best plus Anita and Santon. Nowhere near our full strength team, Nile Ranger will be a testament to that.
I'd heard of Tavernier and Abeid before, pretty sure I've skimmed past them on the transfer market at fifa at some point. Their overall ratings werent too bad actually.
Obviously not fifa fans then, Lee. Abeid I did genuinely know from other places though. At least you can point to that, imagine if they had have been at full strength.
I feel for you though I must say, the team I support were knocked out before yours had to compete so I know what you're going through.
