I won't argue which offside decision (or lack of) was worse with you Barbosa, both were horrible. But the Ivanovic "challenge" was completely unintentional. Soft red, I still think that would never be given as a straight red against Man Utd.

In the very match you're speaking of Miko, Man Utd scored a goal with hands heavily involved in it. I'd have taken 1-0 if things were done properly by the officials, people quickly forgot that Joe Cole scored a terrific goal in that game, and that Chelsea outplayed ManUtd.

See, I read this and all I can think of is swings and roundabouts again, and for once, its not because I am a peadophile.

I think it would have as it was an easy decision. As soon as he fouled him, and he did, he had to go.

I had to watch the replay twice to actually see any contact. Soft.

I think we'll just have to agree to disagree on that one. I made my peace with that decision during the game anyway, it was the Torres sending off that drastically changed things.

He scores with his arse. He scores with his aaaaaaaaaaaaaaarse. Papiss Demba Cisse he scores with his arse!

Regarding the Clattenberg thing:

If I was on that team and the referee called one of my team mates a 'monkey' I'd get the team to walk off the pitch.

Now it just looks like they're bitching because of losing the match.

Think it's worth noting that the Hernandez goal wasn't Clattenburg's fault, so really he got one of the two decisions right. Although, the diving issue is not as black and white as people are making out. Contact does not necessarily mean a foul.

Oh, and I think I love Rafael.

Saw the full highlights last night and United really caught some breaks, but there have been games at Stamford Bridge over the last decade where Chelsea have got the decisions in their favour too so it's about time we got some luck at the Bridge.

What's funny is that despite losing our great home record against Spurs, we've beaten Newcastle, Liverpool and Chelsea away this season which is something we couldn't do last season. If only we were a decent non-shit team and we would have beaten Spurs too. Oh well.

Please, explain.

There were decisions made by the referee and assistants that favoured Chelsea, when they played at Stamford Bridge.

2 that come to mind are the penalty given against Carrick after the ball was hit against his hand rather than hand to ball at the end of the 2010 season I think and the 1-0 win when Terry scored from a free-kick given for a legit fair challenge in 2009.

The Carrick one was definitely a penalty. I'm perplexed that he's still playing for Man Utd, such a shit player.

Can't remember the exact tackle leading to Terry's goal but I remember it being Fletcher on Cole. No complaints were heard from my legions of Man Utd supporting friends about that tackle after the game, but a load of nonsense about Drogba being offside was conjured up instead.

So that's maybe one controversial decision against at least five off the top of my head given for Man Utd. Every time I hear a Manchester Utd fan say "It's about time we had some luck against Chelsea", my fucking skin crawls. Just last season Man Utd had two VERY soft penalties (Welbeck diving for one) at Stamford Bridge and two clear offside goals at Old Trafford. You know what happens when Ferguson forgets to pay off the match officials during the week? Just watch the 6-1 City/Utd match and the 3-2 Spurs/Utd match.

Paying off the refs is still probably cheaper than Torres

Both teams have been favoured by ref's decisions in the past, I think that's the long and short of it.

5under1and had more shots that game then they did the rest of the season put together. They still lost.

And the award the October 2012 mackem top goalscorer goes to....Demba Ba

06.10.2012 Man City 3-0 mackems

27.10.2012 Stoke City 0-0 mackems
30.10.2012 mackems 0-1 smoggies

That he was.

If he continues to be that arrogant and greedy on the ball I don't see him being a Chelsea player too much longer.

Oh I understood what you were saying back then, it's just he was scoring goals and most of the shit he tried came off. And he was playing out of position when he was like that, so I accepted it.

Tonight, however, is an example of when he doesn't pull off what he tries.

He's going to be at Liverpool soon from the sound of it. Would much prefer Walcott though. His finish for the first goal at Reading was Henry-esque, just brilliant.

Pretty decent game last night overall, thought that the kids at the back did ok for the most part but poor Scotty Wooton just had a few costly rushes of blood to the head and yes, definitely should have been sent off, at least once.

Hernandez V Luiz isn't quite as big as Torres V Vidic, but I love seeing them play against each other.

Mata is excellent and as long as he stays fit and doesn't burn out at the end like Silva, Chelsea will keep up their good run.

Anderson is a pretty good 70 minute player, too bad the game lasts at least 90 minutes. Rafael still seems to remain quite under-rated but he's been one of our more consistent players this season.

Saturday lunch-time should be an interesting game.
