Dolph Ziggler's Look

sabataged

Pre-Show Stalwart
I think it is a horrible idea. Now Dolph looks like every other generic WWE youngster. I thought the blonde hair looked horrible but it separated him from the pack. Plus when he was bumping around in the ring if I squinted I felt like I was watching Mr Perfect again which is about as good of a comparison that Ziggler will ever get

I agree. Now Dolph just looks like every other generic wrestler. Don't like it at ALL. The new attitude of his, I'll have to see more of, but that'll probably work for him. but the haircut, don't like it one bit.

they better not go through with this and turn him into a boring Randy Orton/Drew McIntyre heel, seriously ive had enough of those stupid heels who are always pissed off and have a dark look i hope he gets the look back atleast when he dumps Vickie

Eh...I'm not too big on it either. I liked him the way he was, but I'll wait and see where they go with it before I look too much into it. I know they said he has a 'new' personality to go with his look, but I hope it's not another one of those 'I hurt people because I'm mad all the time' type of heels. Not that there's anything wrong with them, but I think there's already enough as it is.

like i said it another post he went from being a poor man's mr perfect to a poor man's randy orton... perfect is a legend, orton an overrated pos... I really hope it was done because his hair was damaged or something because otherwise it was a stupid idea... he doesn't stand out at all now, the music worked because he reminded us of Mr P but now i wouldn't be able to pick him out of a crowd... big mistake imo

So what would you want him to look like? Don't like the brown hair, and you didn't like the blonde hair...

It's also not like brown is a natural hair color so a lot of guys have the same color hair.

I get why they did it, but I'm not a fan. I think that Ziggler was perfect the way he was (no pun intended). But they should have had him stay the way he was. He was acting like a perfectionist and had the look with the blonde long hair. They honestly should have kept him in a feud with John Morrison or even Daniel Bryan since Bryan isn't even on Raw tonight (probably due to him being drafted next week)

Even thought i preferred his previous look i think Dolph looks mint. I mean u've gotta change your look every now and again.

Is it just me that thinks he now looks like Cody Rhodes? ...

Are you judging him on his look? Or on his new attitude/aggressiveness. When he used to come to the ring, he was hyping himself, slicking his hair back and what not, now or today at least, he was all business going to the ring. People are going to start taking him more seriously and he'll be in a title picture very soon.

I dunno..

First thing i thought was " Now that looks like a WWE champion " .. I think hes being groomed to be a superstar , and i like the look alot better then before.

He looks tougher now, I've always been saying that if he got rid of that stupid greasy looking bleach blonde hair and maybe got some simple spiky short hair he would look more formidible.
I think now that he's changed that and if he has a new attitude he is definitely making his way up the ladder, now all we need is a new more devastating finisher and Id wager he's getting ready for the upper card.

Truth be told when I heard Dolph Ziggler's music and saw him with the bleached blonde hair. I honestly thought of Mr. Perfect. Billy Gunn never crossed my mind once. I will have to see where this new attitude goes. I never thought that Dolph couldn't be main event material based on his hair. If anything it added to his persona and heel stature. I just don't see it now that he looks like Evan Bourne, who looks like Randy Orton, who looks like Cody Rhodes, who looks like Ted Dibiase jr., who looks like Alex Riley. Hmm, only time will tell.

I don't know why, but when I saw his new look, I didn't see Mr. Perfect or Billy Gunn. I saw A.J. Styles, no kidding. Still don't know why.

In regards to his new look, I don't like it, but I prefer it over his old look. He looked crazy before. Long curls, zebra print gloves, he looked mentally unstable. Now, he looks like a superstar I would say could be WWE champion someday.

I don't like it. Look at the close up on his face. He looks just like Evan Bourne. He should have changed his attire as well. If they debuted a new look they should have went all out.

Agreed because i for one am already taking him more serious. Also much like someone said you have to change your look sometimes. And if you really think about it alot of multiple time world champion winners change their "look" and it was only the begining for them as in winning world titles.

Ex: randy orton yes he won the world title w/his colorful legend killer gimmick but once late 2007 early 2008 came around where he began to act a little less cocky, more dark by punting people in the head, and it was only the begining for his age of orton and who knows maybe the future holds an age of ziggler (since some of you think one person he favors is orton)

Other examples the rock, stone cold, hhh, get the point.

New looks arent always bad including dolph ziggler's so just get use to it

Does his new look make any difference? The guy still has zero star power in him. He is fun to watch at home, but the crowd doesn't give two damns about the guy and his theme music.

A lot of people also hated the Dolph Ziggler gimmick when he first started but through a lot of hard work and a great IC Title reign, Dolph really propelled himself to a spot he earned. He might need to work a little harder now but he and Cody have big years ahead of them.

Ive said before Dolph looked to much like a pretty boy. The new look can give him a darker edge where he goes crazy after matches and just tries to hurt everyone and anyone.

This is exactly what I thought when Dolph came out! I missed Vickies announcement so I thought Cody dropped the facemask gimmick and decided to go to Raw (afterall, cant WWE stars just pick and choose where they want to show up these days? lol). I liked that he was differentiated with the blonde hair and had the Mr. Perfect greasy blonde going on. I guess the WWE was picking up on that too and decided to differentiate him. I have a good feeling he will be a champ soon though.

He kinda looks like Randy during his legend killer Gimmick with the new brown hair. The new attitude has the same impact on me as the old one did im not impressed, take Vicky away from him and you will hear mostly silence as before he hooked up with her.

Although I had to do a double take and make sure it wasn't Borne, I still say that the new look is setting him up for his big push. I'm not into men personally, so I won't just simply say that I like it, but I think it works for him.

I think that it's a definite move in the right direction for the guy. If he's going to be moving to the next level, he needs to drop the cheeseball crap he's been saddled with. The ridiculous blonde greasy slick hair just doesn't scream "main event". The new look is more serious, more business, and I think it's a good one.

Part of his problem is that he never really transitioned from the guy that walked around backstage introducing himself to everyone. I think that some alterations will help him be taken more seriously.

Now if they could only ditch the ridiculous name...

I like Dolph, but with his blonde hair it shouted "midcard". But this new look actually makes him look like a champion. Now he just needs to get rid of Vickie and get drafted back to Smackdown.
