That's pretty much it. And it's becoming generally accepted that anyone who uses a Nazi reference automatically loses their debate.

That's because it's become almost as generic a defense as "that's gay" is as an insult.

Everyone is some level of gay. Everyone is some level of Nazi. Therefore, we are all some level of hypocritical.

well it is possible to use National Socialist comparisons and still win a debate, but it has to be in very damned good conditions. Good example is the one that some magazine went through and said about being able to compare Triple H and Hitler pretty much on the basis of symbolism and propaganda behind them. That could work if you go into more detail on it.
