.... Did Murdoch try to do a Canadian Destroyer?

Full Nelson?! Where's the danger in the Full Nelson? Isin't the "Master Lock" basically a Full Nelson I was actually just thinking that Murdoch should use the Full Nelson slam as his finisher.

I'll tell you why Murdoch shouldn't use the CD though. The move depends a lot on the momentum of Murdoch and the power of the opponent. Murdoch is Heavyweight sized and unless he's going to fight a bunch of cruiser weights, he's most likely going to have an opponent that's just going to be too big for that. If he fought someone that was his size it would basically mean that close to 600 pounds of human are going to be flipping. The chances of getting a heavyweight to agree to that in the WWE is probably impossible.

I like Trevor Murdoch I think hes a very underrated wrestler........ I think Matts more to blame than Murdoch for the botch since it didnt seem like Matt jumped like he should have done.

Holy spam batman!!! But yeah the one at Survivor Series looked better. U got to give a guy like Murdoch credit for even attempting the move let alone exucating it properly. Canadian Destroyer is a difficult move and someone "bigger" like murdoch doing it is a bit impressive. Also give props to the person on the reciving allowing him to perform it. Anyways Murdochs first one was a total wreck.

^i agree
At S.S. he tryed again but this time he did it alot better. I also find it impressive that such a big man can perform an extremely hard and dificult task

What wrestler did he perform it on the second time?

The first time was god-awful and it actually took me a few seconds to figure out exactly what he was trying to do. He's lucky he didn't seriously injur himself or Hardy.

I'm surprised they let him attempt it again

It looked a lot more like the Yoshi-Tonic at SSeries, and Rhodes sold it pretty well, its less dangerous than the Destroyer cos the opponent lands on their back not their head if performed correctly.

I give much respec for the big man for

A. Knowing what a Yoshi-Tonic is and
B. Giving it a go at a major PPV with millions of people watching

He's gotta be careful when using that move, especially if he's just started making a comeback cos if he's not totally concentrating he could really hurt someone.

WELL DONE THO

The move he did at survivor series was just amazing. It was really impressive and it was a wonderful way to finish the match.

I really don't understand why there is so much people complaining because he fucked his first attempt (on Raw).

When WWE play safe and ban moves, people complain. WWE allows a wrestler to do a dangerous move, people complain again. I know he screwed the first one, but the second one was REALLY impressive.
I'm starting to believe that complaining is probably turning into a sport for some people. And that just sad. Why can't you just enjoy the show when they put on some?

He did it...barely. but damn someone his size pulling it off, I guess I never though of him as the athletic type. I would think Vince would be cautious of those types of moves because of all the neck stuff, I mean I haven't seen a piledriver in years...he won't even let Lawler do it.

Yes it was quite an impressive move. Couldnt believe that WWE would let someone do a move like that though surprise. Rhodes sold it well and the crowd really enjoyed it so hopefully we will see moves like that more often in the future.

It looks impressive for a big man like Murdoch to execute a move that requires such technicality. However, I feel that he's a little cautious in executing this move.

I mean... He had his thighs all the way up till Rhodes' torso, and after the slam is executed, Rhodes' crotch seemed to be right smack in the face of Murdoch cos' of the initial elevation during the setup. Seems like some weird sexual position at the startup and the pinfall, but the process of execution is nice.

Why do I say he's cautious? Because it's obvious the purpose of Murdoch adopting an unorthodox powerbomb setup, is for Rhodes to help sell the move by holding onto Murdoch's ankles with greater ease, compared to a normal powerbomb setup. So, it feels a little fake. But I believe he'll improve.
