[Destination X] Douglas Williams Open Challenege

If TNA is hoping to get something out of this, it'd be best to bring in an X Division star from the past to challenge Williams. Given that The British Invasion seem to have started a feud with Mexican America, it won't be at all surprising if Anarquia or Hernandez come out to accept the challenge. Truth is, it's pretty likely to be one of those and that's a shame.

Douglas Williams is a high quality wrestler and has been really the only X Division Champion for nearly 3 years that's actually brought a little prestige back to the title. It's a shame that TNA has dropped the ball with him.

Paul London is a name which has crept into my mind. Former X-Division worker and the difference between London and most people named in this thread is, he isn't contracted to another organization.

Douglas Williams vs. Paul London wouldn't be a bad match.

Haven't seen much of Paul London, wasn't watching WWE at the time he and Kendrick were kicking about.

I absolutely expect it to be Homicide. It would make sense for a number of reason. 1, MA is feuding with BI right now. 2, BI just brought back their original third memeber into fold with Rob Terry. SO that leaves MA at a 2-3 disadvantage. Homicide shows up sets up a multiculture faction on faction throw down that can lead to a long feud.

Chalk it up, we'll be seeing Doug Williams get teh Cop Killa tonight.

I am disappoint.

Last I checked Doug isn't exactly your standard X Division guy. Neither was Kurt. Just because the PPV has all these high flyers doesn't mean it has to be all high flying. Put a clinic on in there to give people a breather. Because Kendrick/Abyss won't be enough for people to catch their breath.

Plus, Kurt's the #1 Contender to the TNA World Title. He sorta needs a bit of exposure.

If it is Homicide, can they call it LAX again? Mexican America isn't a faction name. It's more like a nationality description. I'd even be for the Mexicools. At least there was more thought given to the name.

Didn't really like Haskins all that much. Did some nice stuff but botched quite a few of his movies. We'll put that down to nerves though and forgive this time. Will be interesting to see if he makes an appearance on Impact. I suspect he wont.
