When he was known as
"THE" Brian Kendrick in the WWE, during his last run. I was stupid enough to want to see him as the underdog winner in the Heavyweight Scramble match. Yeah.
Now, I'm furious that Douglas Williams is being screwed in this style of gimmick match, which if you go by storyline standards is putting his back against the wall in every sense of the way. He isn't a High flier, so they're likely gonna have him not knowing how to scale across the wire. He'll also try for the title at the worst times, allowing Kendrick to constantly (and yet oh, so, easily) stop him.
Why am I furious over this? Because in TNA, Kendrick isn't even someone I'd classify as a Top 10 X-Division Wrestler. He ranks somewhere above Jesse Neal, and about 3 spots below Shannon Moore. (Sharkboy would've been a better choice at this point)
To make matters worse, Kendrick's current
gimmick (if you can call it that) is that of a
"nostradamus"-like future teller.

So I'm suppose to believe this mind-fuck has already seen himself winning the title, and yet he lost at the last Pay per view? So, uh, why didn't he just see the loss coming and avoid it? Stupid.
If Kendrick wins the Championship, it'll be the worst reign in the X-Division since Kurt Angle during the time when he won every title, just so they'd have a reason to make him wrestle 3 times in one night. I can only hope Douglas Williams pulls a rabbit out of the hat in this one and finds a way to retain.
