That happens 2 1/2 hours before the game, and then the balls go back to the team.
They go back to the team 2 minutes before kickoff.
People that say that it didn't matter anyway because the Colts got blown out...it's called momentum. It was only a two possession game at halftime. One or two plays that got away from them, and then it just keeps going.
The score was 17-7 at halftime. Brady played like shit in the 1st half. Then the 2nd half comes, they destroy them with the inflated balls. No momemtum, just the Colts getting their ass kicked.
And as it's already been said, they did it against the Baltimore game.
Haven´t seen that anywhere. Baltimore bitched about something else that was entirely legal.
And now teams are coming out and saying they noticed it during the regular season too.
As well as other teams and players saying it´s a non-issue. Both sides of the spectrum.
This would be a scandal in itself alone, but add on SpyGate too, and it really doesn't make the Patriots look too great. Plus there's already been a few teams that have come out and said that they have reasons to believe the Patriots are still doing what they did with Spygate. I don't know if that's true or not, I definitely know the Patriots had a lot of miracle comebacks in the second half of games in the 2013 season, maybe that's just because Billy is great at making adjustments, or maybe it's because they started letting the air out of the balls and using their taped signals.
So because of some 2013 comebacks, you speculate that they are "cheating again"? Logic thrown out the window.
We can't know for sure, but Patriots fans don't exactly have much room to defend those accusations right now do they? The thing that I love though about Patriots fans...what's the biggest thing the say in defense to spygate? "Oh that happened so long ago, seriously bringing that up again. Let it go." and my personal favorite "Everyone in the league was doing it". And my question for any Patriots' fan who has ever said those words, specifically the latter one is...what is your opinion Barry Bond, Mark McGuire, and Roger Clemens? Should they be Hall of Fames? If no is it because they used steroids? But everyone in the league was doing it right? Okay, then what makes Tom Brady and Bill Belichick a Hall of Famer. Why is it that Barry Bonds and Roger Clemens are both not Hall of Famers, but yet Brady and Belichick are considered the greatest of all time in the game of football?
You´re fucking kidding right? Comparing steroids to stealing signals with a camcorder, which by the way, you can do anyway. Yep, you can steal signals, just not with a camcorder. So it´s not the action, just the use of equipment.
But go ahead and condemn the Patriots when they haven´t found one shred of evidence against them in this case. And question their integrity.
"WE MUST HAVE INTEGRITY IN FOOTBALL! BAN THE PATRIOTS!"
Were was this rhetoric when Ray Rice beat the shit out of his then fiance? Or when Adrian Peterson beat his kid? Or all the sexual assault cases and domestic violence situations during this football year? I can go on and on.
Don´t give me the integrity of the game crap. People still watched after all of that, but this shit sends them over the edge? It has nothing to do with deflation and everything to do with hanging the Patriots.
And the even bigger thing with this is that they're not just cheating at the same thing. They got caught cheating at one thing, and now they're getting caught cheating at something entirely different. Is that the only way they can win football games? Even the eligibility stuff that they ran against Baltimore and Indianapolis, I found that dirty and cheap. I understand that it is legal, but I found it very cheap. While I can't say much about that, I very much can talk about the deflated ball incident.
Again, you have condemned them even when they haven´t found any evidence of them tampering with the football.
And yes, they can win football games by beating the shit out of the Colts 45-7.
NOBODY WANT TO HIT THAT BLOUNT!
All of this doesn't matter though, because Robert Kraft is going to write a nice fat check. Then they're going to take away a couple draft picks, and we all know how much that hurt the Patriots when they did it after Spygate. Then the Patriots will either win or lose the Super Bowl, the NFL won't say a word about the whole scandal at all, and we'll all just go back to pretending that Bill Belichick is one of the greatest coaching minds in the history of the game, and how Tom Brady has three (or four) Super Bowl rings (and how his team cheated to get all of them).
"BURN THEM AT THE CROSS! THOSE CHEATERS! BURN THEM AND SHOOT THEM! WE CAN HAVE WOMEN BEATERS AND RAPISTS, BUT NOT ALLEGED CHEATERS!"
