Getting Noticed By Management
Did you just see Daniel Bryan lay out the Shield, pretty much single handedly on Smackdown?? A fired up and yelling Bryan planting a rolling dropkick in the corner on Ambrose... then following it up with equal intensity on Rollins, then a seated dropkick through the ropes to the Roman Reigns. Bryan then follows it up with a his patented knee of the ring apron to the Shield's heavy. Bryan gets back into the ring and throws his body through the ropes with a suicide dive to Rollins and Ambrose. The show ends with Bryan as fired and electrified as I've ever seen him giving the crowd in Edmonton the yes chants as they all send the arms straight up and yes chants right back him. I mean wow.... fan reaction like that doesn't happen over night. It something Austin and Hogan would even be impressed with.
It's just amazing, all the crap and all BS he had to go through coming up the ranks in NXT, with Cole's commentary and even Vince Mcmahon himself saying if he saw him at the grocery store he wouldn't think he was a superstar on TV. But all that doesn't matter. You can't argue with fan reaction and what we just saw. They called him the best in the world in ROH, before Punk coined the phrase himself and damnit he sure did look like it tonight.
