Daniel Bryan: Heel Or Face & Where Does He Go From Here?

Did you just see Daniel Bryan lay out the Shield, pretty much single handedly on Smackdown?? A fired up and yelling Bryan planting a rolling dropkick in the corner on Ambrose... then following it up with equal intensity on Rollins, then a seated dropkick through the ropes to the Roman Reigns. Bryan then follows it up with a his patented knee of the ring apron to the Shield's heavy. Bryan gets back into the ring and throws his body through the ropes with a suicide dive to Rollins and Ambrose. The show ends with Bryan as fired and electrified as I've ever seen him giving the crowd in Edmonton the yes chants as they all send the arms straight up and yes chants right back him. I mean wow.... fan reaction like that doesn't happen over night. It something Austin and Hogan would even be impressed with.

It's just amazing, all the crap and all BS he had to go through coming up the ranks in NXT, with Cole's commentary and even Vince Mcmahon himself saying if he saw him at the grocery store he wouldn't think he was a superstar on TV. But all that doesn't matter. You can't argue with fan reaction and what we just saw. They called him the best in the world in ROH, before Punk coined the phrase himself and damnit he sure did look like it tonight.

If I were booking this, I'd tease a breakup/heel turn, then go the other way.

Have Kane/Bryan breakup in the next few weeks, even coming to blows a couple of times. At this point, Bray Wyatt approaches each of the member of Hell No and offers to help them if they join the Family. Kane refuses outright, but Bryan agrees to consider it. Kane tries to talk him out of it, but seems to be pushing Bryan into the Wyatt camp. After a violent confrontation where Kane's jumped by the Family and Daniel just watches, Kane vows never to have anything to do with his former partner ever again.

Finally, the moment arrives for Daniel's decision -- and he says no. At this point, the Family jumps him, and offers "to sacrifice him to Wyatt as a goat". They begin to perform a bizarre ritual... and that's when Kane comes out for the last minute save. Team Hell No are reunited, and feud with the Wyatt Family. After the feud runs its course, Bryan and Kane part amicably, and go on to singles careers. Over the next year, Bryan and Kane's paths occasionally cross, and when Kane eventually turns heel sometime in 2014, Bryan tries to intervene, and then the two feud.

This helps establish the Wyatt Family, provides another twist in the Kane/Bryan saga, and continues to whet the anticipation for Bryan to turn single and letting them pull the trigger sometime in fall, giving him time to push to a big Wrestlemania match.
