Daniel Bryan guest referee

Do you guys think that wwe might have Bryan guest ref the title match at mania... I know people would be worried that the crowd would just ignore reigns and just chant Bryan but being that the rock will most likely be in reigns corner I think it is worth the risk. Plus since Bryan made it clear that he is retired I think the crowd would move on and pay attention to a match.
The positives of him doing it
1. it could help reigns be over having Bryan raise his hand at end of night.
2. It would make sense storyline rise being that the authority hates bryan.
3. Wwe is at a lack of stars and it could help having Bryan on the road of mania being guest ref
4. People are all sad and sorry for Bryan and it could be a good way to include him.

I don't care if it's the Rock himself vs HHH, it would be a terrible idea. It would take away from what's supposed to be the biggest match of the night just to put someone in as a sympathy play. Plus it still doesn't make any sense regardless of the Authority angle since they just made a big deal about his retirement.

Not for nothing, The Rock couldn't get Reigns over at the Rumble last year. What makes you think Daniel Bryan can?

Reigns as a top face is doomed unless he feuds with someone fans legitimately don't like. It's like Cena. The kids and women like Roman Reigns, and the guys or anyone who follows anything other than WWE don't see the big deal with the guy and would rather see AJ Styles in the main event.

Wanna get Reigns over? Have him bash Daniel Bryan and turn heel and feud with a returning Seth Rollins as the face.

Bryan has to be involved at Wrestlemania, he's still the most over guy in the company. Only issue is he's not going tone impartial to HHH. Unless they pulled a huge swerve and Bryan turned corporate. A suit clad D_Bry would be cool

I'm not sure about having him referee the title match, as the fans would more than likely chant for Bryan over Reigns which is exactly what WWE don't want to happen. However, I think he WILL be involved in WrestleMania in some way, he's too popular for WWE not to capitalise on. I'm not sure what his role is going to be, but you can be sure he'll be doing something.

I think Daniel will most likely referee the Undertaker/Shane match if he refs at all. However, I do believe that referees have to pass the same medical procedures as the wrestlers, so that's not going to happen. I wouldn't mind seeing him in a segment though.

Every time they put Reigns and Bryan in the ring together, it reeks of a transparent attempt to transfer Bryan's fanbase to Roman. It would be just too contrived to buy into. So's been the case of near everything Vince has tried to endear Roman to us, save for a righteous beatdown of Triple H and the night after.

Frankly, I don't see the point involving him in any angles if they'll never have a payoff. At most, maybe he joins Rock at the top of the show to instigate a 100k YES chant. There's his WrestleMania moment.

According to the dirtsheets Batista and HBK have said no to having anything to do with Mania 32. While I still think HBK will show up in some form, they need others with some drawing power to show up. Daniel Bryan is one of those.

Putting him anywhere near a Roman Reigns match though would be a car crash happening in slow motion. Just think about it, you have HHH (the biggest heel in the WWE) getting cheered, Reigns (biggest babyface right now) getting boo'd back to the stone age, put Daniel Bryan in the mix and Reigns might just as well not even show up.

I think what someone else said might happen in that he will ref either the Taker/Shane match or maybe the Lesnar/Ambrose match. But keep him away from the main event at all cost. They've already advertised him for Axxess so he will be in Dallas. Also isn't that Brie Bella's supposed last match, so he might come out to support her as well. This is probably one of the last times we'll see Daniel Bryan in a WWE ring, unless a miracle happens, so it should be a special moment for him, his wife and the fans who have supported him all this time.

Oh ans as for his fans backing Reigns, that would have already happened if it was going to, so that ship sailed, hit a rock and sunk.

Bryan shouldn't be anywhere near the title match. Bryan vs. The Authority is outdated. If anything he should get involved with the IC title match since he was IC champion last time he was in the ring.

It'd be cool to see him ref Owens vs. whoever his opponent is. It'd elevate the title match. I can't remember if a IC title match ever had a special guest ref.

Daniel Bryan does not belong in a wrestling ring in any capacity where there is even the slightest possibility that he might have to take a bump. In most cases, the referee is booked to do exactly that. Even an accidental bump might be dangerous for him.
