Da Prophet Presents: WWE Unleashed

“Rise Up”

The show begins with a recap of last week’s Main Event. Kurt Angle set a time of 10:12 against Batista, which JBL must beat to advance to Survivor Series. A small amount of pyro goes off as we get a shot of the fans. Now we slowly move around the arena, as Cole and Taz give the introductions.

Cole: Hello everybody and welcome to Friday Night Smackdown. On what will be a huge night, can JBL beat Batista hear tonight?

Taz: I wouldn’t beat against him, with the Office by his side, JBL is the favourite.

Cole: I’m not going to go with him, Batista is the man. He hasn’t stood down since winning the title at WrestleMania, and tonight will be no different.

Taz: JBL has back up, Batista doesn’t. How can he overcome those odds?

Cole: He will, just you wait and see.

“Longhorn”

A loud boo begins, as JBL makes his way to the ring. With the Office nowhere to be seen, as he enters the ring. A smirk is seen on the face of JBL, who will meet the World Champion here tonight.

JBL: Welcome to Friday Night Smackdown!

Small pop from the crowd.

JBL: What a wonderful day it is, because tonight I going to beat Batista.

The crowd now boo, not agreeing with him.

JBL: In just 9 short days, I become the NEW World Heavyweight Champion. That title is coming back to me, JBL.

Again the crowd boo.

JBL: You people pretend not to like the idea, when in your heart you want it. Each and every one of you want me as your Champion. You all need me as your Champion.

Booing even louder, they disagree with JBL.

JBL: For months Dave Batista has been carrying that Championship on his shoulder, thinking that it really belongs to him. It doesn’t, that title should be on my shoulder. If it wasn’t for the ref, than I would have been Champion at SummerSlam. I had the match won, if it wasn’t for some slow count, than I would be World Champion.

A “You Suck” chant begins, as JBL stares out into the crowd.

JBL: You are the same people that chanted Rocky sucks at WrestleMania 18. Why should I care what you think?

The chant continues, with it getting louder.

JBL: If anyone sucks it’s that lacklustre roster I forced to share a locker room with. Each and every one of them couldn’t even tie my shoes. They don’t have enough talent to compete in the same ring as me!

“Basic Thuganomics”

A small cheer for John Cena, who walks out with his United States on his shoulder.

Cena: Wait, wait, wait a second. Did you just call me lacklustre? I must be mistaken, because you wouldn’t do that would you JBL?

JBL: You heard right, everyone in the locker room is lacklustre compared to me.

Cena: That’s why I have a title and you don’t.

Another small cheer from the crowd.

Cena: Oh and we heard, I’m going to beat Batista at Survivor Series. Blah, blah, blah, who cares? If we want to talk about winning titles, well do we want to see footage of WrestleMania 21?

The crowd chant “let’s see it”, as JBL shakes his head.

JBL: No we don’t need to see it!

Cena: I think we do, how about it, cheer if you want to see the WWE Championship match from WrestleMania 21.

The whole crowd cheer, as Cena is ready to show the footage.

Cena: Yo, production crew throw the highlights of the WrestleMania 21 WWE Championship match on.

We can back from the highlights to see Cena with a smile on his face. Tapping the mic on his chin, while JBL is very embarrassed.

Cena: I guess you got beat, by how did you put it?

A short pause by John Cena.

Cena: Oh a lacklustre performer, and tonight, you get beat by another. Cha Ching!

“Basic Thuganomics”

This opening segment may have just pissed JBL off even more than he usually is. With JBL left standing in the ring, John Cena walks to the back. As we go to a commercial break.

Commercial

Cole: We are back, to what has been a surprising start to Smackdown.

Taz: Yeah, we have Cena come out, and talk trash on JBL. Where was Batista?

Cole: I guess Cena got first dibs.

The Undertaker vs Kurt Angle

After what has been a very worrying week for Kurt Angle, after setting the time in the beat the clock sprint, Angle hasn’t been able to think of anything else. While on the other hand, The Undertaker was called out by Mr Kennedy on RAW. After beating Undertaker last week, Ken Kennedy wishes to face off against the dead man again. The match begins with Angle and Taker locking up, struggling for just under a minute or so. They both test each other, both men know each other so well. After struggling by both men, Taker is able to deliver a swift right hand. Stunning Angle, sending him stepping backward. The two begin to trade blows, both hitting some good shots. After trying to sling Angle into the ropes, Taker is taken to the ground, where Angle dominates. The sprawl is on, as Angle goes for the ankle lock. The Undertaker senses trouble, as he begins to kick wildly. Just trying to get Angle away from his leg.

The two go for several more minutes, trade blows, with Angle focusing on the leg. He drops his weight into the leg multiple times, trying to gain the solid advantage. Both men stand up on their feet, with Angle leaning against the ropes. While Taker holds his leg, he is in pain. The gold medal winner rushes at Taker, going to a high impact move. We see Taker lifts his good leg up, delivering a bog boot. It knocks Angle, sending him stumbling backward. Then like a new life has come, Taker pounces on Angle. The hard right hands are delivered, each one connecting.

As was noted at the beginning of the match, both men know each other so well. After Taker went for old school, Angle was able to counter, and lock in the ankle lock. With nowhere to go, Taker for the first time EVER! Yelled in pain, the crowd were silent, in this history making moment. If I were Batista I would be very worried. In what seemed to be useless, Taker rolled forward, and was able, to the surprise of many, escape the hold. This sent Angle face first into the corner, his head hitting the turnbuckle. With Taker able to get to his feet, Angle was nailed with the Tombstone, and Taker gained the victory.

Winner: The Undertaker (by pinfall)

Once the match was over, Taker grabbed a microphone. With his eyes looking down at Angle, Taker was ready to address Ken Kennedy.

The Undertaker: Ken Kennedy, for the past week, you have taunted me. Saying you had beaten The Undertaker. Well allow me to tell you this, you have only beaten yourself. As I stand here, gaining a victory over Kurt Angle.

The crowd cheer, as Taker quickly tells them to ssshhh.

The Undertaker: You dare call me out, one of the darkest superstars in the WWE. It will be the anniversary of my debut at Survivor Series. And what better way to celebrate, than to take your soul!

The crowd once again cheer, at the thought of Kennedy being destroyed.

The Undertaker: Ken Kennedy, I accept your challenge. But know this, at Survivor Series; you will REST IN PEA-----

“Turn up the Trouble”

Well this guy has balls, out walks Ken Kennedy, who is chewing gum. With a microphone in this hand, he grabs in up to his lips.

Mr Kennedy: Ladies and Gentleman, in 9 days, this man you see standing in the ring. Will become a part of WWE history, when he is the first man to lose on PPV to………MRRRRRRRRRRRRRR KENNNNNNNEEEEDDDDDYYYYYYY!!!!

The people say “KENNEDY”, who doesn’t go well with the man himself.

Mr Kennedy: Taker, you say that you are going to take my soul. Well at Survivor Series, I take your legacy, and flush it down the toilet. But I don’t just want to beat you, no, at Survivor Series we will be taking part in a match you made famous. A match that involves knocking your opponent out, so much that they can barely move. The match we will be having, is a CASKET MATCH!

The crowd go crazy, as Taker seems pleased about the news. Kennedy goes to walk about, but Taker calls him back.

The Undertaker: You have sealed your fate, Ken Kennedy, you will forever REST…..IN…..PEACE!

“Turn up the Trouble”

With Kennedy’s music playing the background, Taker begins to walk to the back, after setting up a huge match for the PPV.

The camera switches to the backstage arena, where we find Teddy Long and the Office (JBL, Orlando Jordan and The Bashams). As Teddy Long is doing paper work, JBL enters his office, with a smile on his face. The conversation begins, with JBL reminding Mr Long that this may be his last week with Smackdown. A look of distain comes over the face of Teddy, who has made it clear he can’t stand JBL. He response by saying that he isn’t going anywhere. Well it seems as if JBL disagrees, he is makes jokes about being unemployed. Yet again Long backs down, he just allows JBL to continue with the harassment. It soon gets physical as JBL grabs Long by the shirt, pulling him close. In a soft tone of voice, JBL reminds Long, that this is his show. And while Teddy may have the role of GM, the real manager of the show is JBL. As the Office leave, Teddy shows fear on his face, we then go to commercial.

Commercial

We come back from commercial, with “Rise Up” playing in the background. As Taz and Cole hype up Survivor Series which is coming your way in nine short days. With Taz putting over the Smackdown Main Event the most. Saying it will be a huge must see match.

Number One Contenders Match
Cruiserweight Championship
Rey Mysterio vs Paul London vs Chavo

This is what Smackdown is all about, fast paced action. Here we see high flying moves from all three men. With Rey Mysterio being the stand out. These three men had the crowd watching their every move, you couldn’t blink. We saw multiple chances for all three men, however only one could come away with the win. That man was Rey Mysterio, who gained the victory. The finish cam when Mysterio nailed the 619 on Chavo, then delivered a frog splash. The three count was made, and Mysterio advanced to Survivor Series. After Mysterio made it to his feet, Nunzio rushed to the ring, and the attack was on. The huge boot of Nunzio was stomped into the head of Rey, knocking him down to the mat. While the fans booed, Nunzio lifted Rey up. Looking into his eyes Nunzio then dropped Rey down into the canvas with a DDT. While Mysterio was left laying down in the middle of the ring, Nunzio grabbed his title and walked to the back.

Winner: Rey Mysterio (by pinfall)

In the locker room of The Office, we find JBL giving a speech to his men. He reminds Danny Basham that he too has a match tonight, which he must win. If Danny loses than it makes the whole group look weak. As one half of the tag champions, Danny says tonight he will do it for the team. And even without his brother at ringisde, he can gain a victory for the Office. Pleasing JBL, Danny walks out of the locker room, as he match is next. While still inside, JBL turns his attention to Orlando Jordan. Yet again JBL reminds Jordan that while he doesn’t have a match tonight, he can still represent the team. The order is given as Jordan will be at ringside in support his leader. With JBL still giving orders, the camera switches to John Cena.

With the camera now on John Cena, the crowd give a little pop. We see Cena standing, with his back to the camera. He slowly turns around, with the United States Championship around his waist.

Cena: Since the late 90’s, I been watching him you Rob. From the rise to fame, to the fall in 2002. I’ve seen Mr Monday Night, Mr PPV. ECW main man, the whole F’N show, pretty lame show if you ask me.

Short pause by Cena.

Cena: While you battle legends, I watched on, wondering who the hell this guy is. You never came across to me as a wrestler, just a high payed stunt man. See Rob, unlike me, you’re nothing more than a fad. A phase in which, people need to walk away. Rob at Survivor Series, you go from Mr PPV, to Mr I tapped out!

Unclipping his title, Cena raises it to eye level.

Cena: This right here, means I the man. It proves that when it comes time to put or shut up, Rob Van Dam shuts up. You have never won a World Championship here, I have. You are nothing more than a small fish, in MY Ocean.

Slowly he lowers his title, putting it back around his waist.

Cena: The network called, and come Survivor Series, the whole F’N show is cancelled.

The shot ends, as Cena takes a seat to prepare for his match. Now back at ringside, Cole and Taz hype the rematch for RVD vs Cena. Saying that the match is going to be a must see. Taz gives his prediction that RVD is going to come away with the win. While Cole backs Cena, WWE vs ECW, it is a must see!

Danny Basham vs Brother Ray

Out first is Danny, who quickly gets down to the ring. He enters the ring, calling out his opponent. Then the bomb drops, as Brother Ray appears from the curtain. Quickly he rushes down to the ring, and the fight is on. Hard shots to the face by Ray, who is able to sling Danny into the ropes. Off the rebound, Ray delivers a hard clothesline, sending Danny upside down. The match continues to be fast paced, you really wouldn’t think that would you. Both men hammer away with shots to the face, and even a few knees. The match continues on, with Ray being in control for most of the match. A one point Danny begins to fight back. Hitting several high impact moves, yet the veteran is able to counter, delivering a neckbreaker. With Danny down on the mat, Ray climbs to the top rope, something he doesn’t do often. And it shows, as Danny is able to knock the big man off balance sending him crashing to the ground.

The fans groan, as the fall looked like a stinger. With Ray down on the outside, Danny yells at the ref to count. Even when the ref does, it isn’t good enough, so Danny goes to the outside. The assault on the outside begins, with Danny kicking Ray in the head multiple times. It isn’t stopped there, as Danny slams Ray into the guard rail, his back making a loud thud. Now the action gets back into the ring, with Danny going for a cover, but only getting two. He stands back, waiting for Ray to stand, calling for the finish. As Ray gets to his feet, Danny goes for a neckbreaker, however Ray counters into the BUBBA BOMB! Danny is slammed into the mat, with the cover made, Ray gets the win.

Winner: Brother Ray (by pinfall)

Oh how sweet the win is, with Brother Ray gaining the victory. The Tag Champions haven’t had much luck, and this loss tonight for Danny doesn’t do much to help that. What is going to happen next to the Champions, as we see Brother Ray walk to the back?

Commercial

We come back to once again here Cole and Taz talking up Survivor Series. However the conversation changes to some big news, the creation of a new WWE show, NXT. Taz begins to explain that the show will feature 8 rookies, pairing with 8 pros. They each get one, pro, which get to pick their rookie. They have all been decided on their rookie, and will be announced later in the week. The show will be televised on WWE.com, each and every week. Stay tuned to see who will be the WWE Next Breakout Star!

“Basic Thuganomics”

The crowd jump to their feet, as John Cena rushes out. He holds up his United States Championship, yelling out to the people as he does. The Champ enters the ring, with his title on his shoulder. Of course he grabs a mic, as Cena wants to address the crowd again.

Cena: What a live crowd we have tonight!

They cheer for Cena.

Cena: So tonight I face off against a mystery opponent, who is selected by Rob Van Dam. I wonder who it will be. Maybe Hogan, Rock, Austin, maybe even Christian? See it really doesn’t matter, because THE CHAMP IS HERE and here to stay. Yo, Van Dam bring out your little monkey ass bitch!

The crowd cheer, after hearing the word “bitch”.

“Can You Dig It”

Oh hell yes, this is what Smackdown is about, NOW CAN YOU DIG THAT SUCKA!!! With his music playing, out comes….BOOKER FREAKING T! The former WCW Champion is going to be facing off against John Cena. Cena can’t believe this, and is freaking out in the ring. Van Dam has pulled out the big card, and what a pick for Cena.

With Booker now in the ring, the match is on. Still in shock, Cena doesn’t get the first shot like he usually does. This time it is Booker who strikes first, knocking Cena down with a huge chop. The people are already into this, as Booker hammers away with the shots. As Cena gets to his feet, Booker gathers himself, not wanting to make a mistake. He goes for a kick; however Cena ducks, and goes for the FU on Booker. Oh the crowd cheer, as both men have a high range of fan support. The struggle is on, as Booker digs his fingers into the eye of Cena. This blinds Cena, who is forced to release the hold on Booker.

With Booker off his shoulders, Cena covers his face. As his eyes hurt and it would for anybody who had fingers in their eyes. From behind, Booker knocks Cena down to the mat, where he now drops his knee. The knee is dropped into the ribs, and back of Cena, wearing him down. A quick cover is made, which only gets a two count. Now we see Booker grab Cena by the head, and then drop him down with a Suplex. It is picture perfect, as Booker once again goes for a cover, but only gets a two count.

The crowd are really into this match, as Booker slings Cena into the turnbuckle. He raises his right hand, shaking it about. Then Booker runs at Cena, going for a clothesline, however Cena moves out of the way. The chest of Booker hits the top turnbuckle, as Cena rolls Booker up, only getting two. Now we see Cena begin to fight back, he gets to his feet, delivering a flying shoulder block.

With Booker now off guard, and stumbling, Cena hits a spin out powerbomb. The fans know what is coming, as Cena throws his right hand up. While telling Booker that he is invisible, Cena drops his fist for the five knuckle shuffle. The fans pop, as Cena is calling for the FU. Slowly Booker uses the ropes to get to his feet. He holds onto them to gain his balance. Not knowing what is waiting for him, Booker turns around, and is lifted onto the shoulders of Cena.

Trying to fight, Booker goes back to the eyes, however Cena shakes his head. At the last moment Booker is able to shift his wait, and escape the hold. Cena is pushed forward, and nearly trips. As he stumbles forward, Booker is able to ready himself. And once Cena turns around, he is hit with the Book End. With the crowd cheering, Booker T goes into the cover, and gets the final three count.

Winner: Booker T (by pinfall)

Once again Booker T’s music hits, as the fans chant his name. With Cena out in the ring, Booker begins to walk to the back. With Booker coming out as the victor, he may be seen a future contender for the United States Championship.

Commercial

We comeback to see Batista standing with Todd Grisham, who is ready to ask Batista about the Main Event.

Grisham: Batista, tonight you face off against JBL. And if he defeats you in under 10:12 seconds, he will face you at Survivor Series. What are your thoughts on facing him?

Batista: Well Todd, tonight I face off against a man I have already beaten. It was at The Great American Bash, where I walked out as the winner. Tonight will be no different, JBL, get ready, because the animal is going to unleash.

From behind we see Edge walk up, with Muhammad Hassan in toe.

Edge: Davey Boy, how you going?

Batista: Fine, what are you doing here?

Edge: Same thing you guys did on RAW, paying a little visit. Oh and don’t worry, I see you again, I’ll be out there tonight.

Batista: If you cost me this match, it will be the last thing you ever done!

With Edge left standing there, Batista walks off, as his match is up next!

Beat the Clock Sprint
Batista vs JBL

“Longhorn"

With his white limo pulling up, JBL appears from the car. With Orlando Jordan behind him, JBL makes his way down to the ring. And now we wait for the Champ, the crowd can feel it. They want to see him, they are ready!

“I Walk Alone”

With a huge pop from the crowd, World Heavyweight Champion Batista appears. With the title around his waist, he runs to the ring for battle.

Both men trade blows, with Batista knocking JBL early. With JBL stepping backward, Batista slings him into the ropes, and delivers a huge tackle. With Orlando on the outside jumping around, Batista goes for a cover, but only gets two. It seems as if the animal is in a rage tonight, as he goes into a mount position on JBL. Huge forearms, and closes fist are delivered to the face of JBL. Each one getting hard, and finally finishing with a strong thrust of the forearm to the jaw. Another cover by Batista, which again only gets two.

The match has been all Batista, and JBL has been dominated at this point. The animal is in full force tonight, as he lifts JBL to his feet. Looking into his eyes, Batista once again lifts JBL onto his shoulders. Slowly Batista walks over to the turnbuckle, where he puts JBL. This could be bad, as JBL nearly falls off the turnbuckle. With Batista delivering several shots to the face, JBL is at the mercy of the Champ.

Now Batista goes for a superplex, as the count is at 5:00 to go. We have been here for just over 5 minutes and it has been all Batista. Still going for the superplex, JBL is able to counter, sending Batista down to the mat. The back of Batista’s head hits the canvas hard, this may be the opening JBL needed. Slowly JBL gets down from the top turnbuckle, and to the safety of the ring. He walks over to Batista, and delivers a sharp kick to the head. The match may be turning here, as JBL drops several elbows, and even a few solid kicks to the skull.

We now see the clock at 4:20 to go, as JBL can smell the World Championship match at this point. With Orlando on the outside, JBL is in control. He grabs Batista by the head, turning him around, so that his face s under the arm of JBL. Then he comes down with several strong, forearm shots to the upper chest area of Batista. At times the shots even connect with the neck, but most of them are to the chest.

To end this, JBL delivers a hard backbreaker, followed by a cover, which only gets two. Again JBL looks at the clock, which says 3:50, it is getting close. With Batista down, JBL takes some time to gather himself, regaining his energy. This may cause to be a mistake, as Batista makes it to his feet. He looks at JBL, seeing the man he could be facing. The animal charges at JBL, going for the spear, however HE SPEARS THE REF!

With 3:10 left on the clock, Batista has speared the ref, so this allows JBL to deliver a low blow. The Champion goes down, as a smile comes across the face of the millionaire. He calls for Orlando to pass him a weapon, which is a chair. With his weapon ready, JBL goes to strike! But from the crowd comes EDGE, who grabs the chair, and uses it on JBL. Quickly Edge pulls Batista over JBL, while Hassan takes care of Orlando. The ref is still down, and the clock is running, so Edge signals for someone to hurry. Then we see it, TEDDY LONG! The man who has been pushed around by JBL since WrestleMania is coming to the ring. He tells Edge to exit the ring, and looks around. It is decision time, what will Teddy do?

The man gets down, and checks the shoulders of JBL…..AND COUNTS THE THREE COUNT! The crowd give the biggest pop of the night, as Teddy Long calls for the bell. We see he quickly exit, and make a dash with Edge and Hassan as protection. We can now confirm Kurt Angle vs Batista for the World Heavyweight Championship at Survivor Series!

Cole: I can’t believe it!

Taz: Teddy Long stood up tonight, finally.

Cole: We have our Main Event, Angle vs Batista at Survivor Series. Thank you for being here tonight, tune in next week, as we come closer to Survivor Series.

The weekly wrap, and the news coming out of the WWE. Presented to you by non other than WrestleZone.com.

Announced early this week, Christian Cage has been released from his World Wrestling Entertainment contract. After being the Intercontinental Champion for several months, Christian was given release on Sunday. It is not expected that Christian will be returning anytime soon, however many close to him believe we ay see a return around SummerSlam time next year. It is being said that Vince McMahon isn't happy with the release at all, as Christian was set to be in line for a huge push. And a possible WWE Championship run, that has all been thrown away.

With the recent signing of Jeff Hardy, WWE pushed for him to debut this past Monday on RAW. It was in curatives mind that with Orton set to cut a promo on Christian, having Hardy debut would be perfect. Now we have the rematch which is basically set, it has only to be announced on RAW. While the WWE is happy with the Hardy vs Orton match taking place at Survivor Series, the push for a Jericho vs Orton feud is said to be in sight.

Speaking of Chris Jericho, his work rate and his recent feud with Ric Flair hasn't been unseen. The creative team are very happy with the way things are going, and their match at Survivor Series is one that the WWE hope to sell their PPV on. This is will be the last time these men face off for some time, as Jericho vs Orton is nearly upon us.

As most of you would have seen, CM Punk debuted on RAW this past week. He cut an in ring promo, which not only get heat from the crowd, but some backstage. Punk isn't the most liked person, however most of the heat is coming from guys like Jeff Hardy, Matt Hardy, and even Triple H. However one person Punk does have on his side is Vince McMahon, who was impressed by Punk this week. This also brings up Sheamus, who made his debut by attack Punk. He didn't say much, but he also impressed the higher ups. Both these men are set for a push, with the Intercontinental Championship maybe involved. That would mean taking the title off Hardy, which the creative team don't want to do.

To finish off RAW, we have the Main Event. Triple H vs Justice at Survivor Series inside Hell in a Cell. This match isn't going to be pretty, as both men have been given the word to make it as bloody as they can. This match isn't going to be for the young kids, but it is going to be a huge fight. Triple H has high hopes, and so does Justice. The word around the WWE is that things are leaning towards the Champion retaining his title. However the same was said for Triple H at Unforgiven. Anything can happen!

We now head over to Smackdown, and we don't have much to report. This past week John Cena got a tone of air time. Setting for another Main Event jump, and a possible title run. Maybe even a title vs title match, with Cena gaining the victory. That match would take place in the next few months, but nothing is set.

Oh and this past week we saw Mr Kennedy pick the type of match he and Undertaker will having at Survivor Series....a casket match. Mr Kennedy has been hand picked by Undertaker to face him, and with Taker said to be taking some time off, this may start a storyline between them. Vince wants Taker at his full strength for WrestleMania, so this time off would be good.

Finally we saw Edge cost JBL his shot at the World Championship. Oh, after JBL invaded Raw, Edge gave him payback. Now the seeds for a feud has been set, with the draft coming up, Edge is nearly set for a trip to Smackdown. So keep an eye out for his name when it comes to the draft.

So that is the weekly wrap for this week, tune in next week when we have more news. And some Survivor Series predictions for our fans here at WrestleZone.

Announced on this weeks Smackdown, the WWE has decided to bring in a show, where rookies will battle for a shot to be the next breakout star. These men have been chosen by the pro's and will be competing each week on a Tuesday. The show will be shown on WWE.com (here), and is free. Just log onto the internet, and get ready for the experience. So without anymore wait, let me introduce the first pairing for season 1 of NXT!

t5p3lt.png

Oh yes, the WWE has gotten one of the best wrestlers in the world for season 1 of the show. Matt Hardy will be the pro for Daniels, a high flyer, who can also wrestle on the mat. Get ready to see this young man deliver what some call the best moonsault ever!

And we are already getting a huge name there, so who is the number two pairing?

oh49a9.png

Now this is interesting, as we have Ric Flair pairing with Ted DiBiase, the million dollar son is going to be a threat in this competition. Is he going to be the next breakout star?

Well we are two down, six pairs left to announce, and this one is a biggie!

33tjtvr.png

What did I tell you, Chris Jericho and his rookie Wade Barrett. With Barrett being a street fighter or something close to that, he has to be a favourite. A strong right hand could send you to the wasteland!

So as if you weren't already excited about this season, well get ready. Because this is another big one. This show just became......AWESOME! (puns to start from now on)

i50uq1.png

This show is AWESOME because JBL is a pro. The main guy on Smackdown, why did you think I was talking about someone else. Oh and his rookie is The Miz, from the MTV show. Poor JBL!

So that is the first batch of pairings, I have given you four, with four to go. I think there is some post rule about pictures and only having 5 of them in one post. Maybe I'm wrong, if so then the next post could be put with this one. But just to be safe, I'll put the next four in another post. Get ready for the next batch in around 60 seconds!

Welcome back to the roster/ pairing reveal for NXT season 1. And we already have a tone of talent, but it isn't finished yet. So are you ready, well here is the 5th pair of pro and rookie. And this one is so hot it may burn or even fire.

72y6o2.png

Ladies and Gentleman his name is Dolph Ziggler, and his pro is Edge. Can these two egomaniacs keep together? Will they be able to work together, or will they just fall on their face? Find out this season!

With only two left after this, I'm getting tears. It does get really annoying uploading all of my graphics, yes I did make all of them. It has been a real pain uploading them, but it makes my BT look better than the others so. And with the amazing writing also, damn it looks good.

2yo22iv.png

Here is your face pairing for the season, John and John. One is spiderman and the other is superman. Which is the better hero?

Here we go, second last pairing, I guess you are wondering who is left. Well one has to be Kaz, as he is in the opening graphic. So really we only have one left, but you may not have gotten that.

108e4y8.png

See I told you, Angle and Kaz, on the same show again. Needed some guys from the other place, but Kaz is good in the ring and showed go far in this competition. Oh and if I get enough help, I allow you to vote for the elimination. Rather than have me just pick.

Last one people, it is big, it is huge. It could be the biggest ever, the greatest ever. He is amazing, he is great, fantastic, better than everyone....but you already know that.

34ipg76.png

His name is Alberto Del Rio and he is from the greatest line of wrestlers. His pro is the former WCW Champion, this is my pick to win!

That is the final group, get ready for a show. The week after Survivor Series is the start. So the draft happens, than a week later, NXT begins.

RAW Preview

With only six days until Survivor Series, the superstars of RAW should be pumped up. With the battle between the RAW brand and Smackdown brand coming to its peak this Sunday, could we see another invasion? With Teddy Long seemly keeping his job, what could he have planned for the Smackdown Team, which does consist of a man who now hates him....JBL. After Edge invaded Smackdown, and cost JBL his World Championship match, will JBL show up tonight to get some payback?

With less than a week until their match at Survivor Series, Justice will be in action this week, and so will Triple H. While we do know that Triple H will be facing off against Kane, we don't know who has the "chance" to gain a victory over the Champion. Who is going to get the chance to be the first man to pin the WWE Champion? But Triple H has a challenge in the form of Kane. These two exchanged words last week, and their match this week is going to be a good one.

So after losing his Intercontinental Championship last week to the returning Jeff Hardy. Randy Orton is set to compete against Jeff's brother Matt Hardy. With Orton getting his rematch this Sunday, what does he have in store for Matt Hardy. Maybe a quick punt to the skull? Or will that be saved for Chris Jericho, for what he did last week?

Speaking of Chris Jericho, with his feud with Ric Flair reaching it's final match at Survivor Series, what could he be planning. We know Jericho is very smart, and has something in store. As once again, Jericho host the highlight reel. With his special guest, or should I say guests.... Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson, Tully Blanchard appear on Monday Night RAW! Members of the most dominate stable in history, The Four Horsemen return!

Confirmed:

WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships
The Bashams vs The Dudley's
Triple H vs Kane
Randy Orton vs Matt Hardy
Chris Jericho host the Highlight Reel with the Horsemen as guests
Justice will be in action!

Thank you kind sir, and to anybody else, feel free to post predictions for Survivor Series. A quick update, I'll have RAW up next week end. As I have an RP to write, so expect RAW to be up next week end. And then Smackdown mid week, it's going to be a packed show for both. And of course, feedback is welcomed for the latest shows I have posted.

Just caught up with your shows. Awesome stuff man!

Can I just say, I LOVE how you debuted CM Punk and the Returning Jeff Hardy.

Hardy had the "Sting" like Return and Punk came out and pretty much shat all over the whole crowd. I loved every minute of it.

Also, The Church sounds pretty badass. Kinda like a New Age Ministry of Darkness. I would love to see where this goes.

Onto SmackDown, what stands out is that Cena/RVD feud. I'm looking forward to their Survivor Series Rematch. I like the way you built that up and made it into something really special. Should be a classic.

Let me make my predictions now:

Singles Match
WWE Championship
Justice (c) vs Triple H

Oh yea, I see Justice doing major things on RAW. A win over Triple H is the way to go.

Singles Match
World Heavyweight Championship
Batista (c) vs Kurt Angle

Honestly, I did a coin toss for this one. Should be a great contest with The Animal overcoming the Olympian.

Six Man Tag Match
Elimination
Smackdown vs RAW
JBL, Orlando Jordan and Big Show vs Edge, Shawn Michaels and Maxx Van Jules

I just think Team RAW has the edge in this one. Also why Orlando Jordan? Lol, he's good, but this is a pretty big match.

Singles Match
United States Championship
John Cena (c) vs Rob Van Dam

Haha, I can't wait for this one. RVD has the skills, but I think Cena has his number. I got Cena pulling this one out in a tough one. I love the feud and the psychology between both men. It could wind up to be Match of the Night over Batista and Angle.

Grudge Match
Submission Match
Chris Jericho vs Ric Flair

I'm gonna go with Jericho with this one. He's got something to prove and there's nothing like beating The Nature Boy to make a name for yourself.

Singles Match
Cruiserweight Championship
Nunzio (c) vs Rey Mysterio

I see Mysterio winning this one.....actually I see him winning it pretty easily. I don't know. Nunzio just doesn't strike as a TOP guy in the Cruiserweight Division. Maybe it's just me?

Singles Match
Intercontinental Championship
Jeff Hardy (c) vs Randy Orton

I got Jeff in this one. He made a Great Return on RAW and has big time momentum and he's gotten into Orton's head. Whether by pinfall or DQ, I still see Jeff leaving with the Strap.

Casket Match
The Undertaker vs Mr Kennedy

I know, I know, but I just gotta like Mr. Kennedy in this one. I know that It's The Undertaker and all, but I've always been a Kennedy fan, but if this is the start of a major Kennedy push, I can't see him losing.

Can't wait for the show!

Just caught up with your shows. Awesome stuff man!

Well thank you, this has been my favourite Book This! I have ever done. And hope to continue it for some time. Got plans for the next couple of months.

Can I just say, I LOVE how you debuted CM Punk and the Returning Jeff Hardy.

Two big surprise on the show, as I released Christian days before the show. I had to have someone take his spot (Jeff Hardy), and thought it would be good to get a new guy on RAW (CM Punk). I have always wanted to write for CM Punk and I'm finally getting my chance. Expect big things for the Savior.

Hardy had the "Sting" like Return and Punk came out and pretty much shat all over the whole crowd. I loved every minute of it.

I wasn't sure on the CM Punk promo, so it's good to see it came off the right way. I was watching a few ROH promo's he did, and he just ripped into the crowd. And I thought, nobody really does those type of segments. While they cut the hate down in the promo, it isn't the same. So I had he just rip the people, and become a "big deal" on his first night.

Also, The Church sounds pretty badass. Kinda like a New Age Ministry of Darkness. I would love to see where this goes.

The Church are badass, seeing as Justice won the WWE Championship on his first PPV match. He defeated Triple H, who was hot off a return. And since, The Church have beaten Triple H up nearly every show. He hasn't really be able to fight back. And that tells a story itself. And once again Triple H vs Justice is inside HELL IN A CELL! Not a singles match, just to everyone understands. It was my fault really.

Onto SmackDown, what stands out is that Cena/RVD feud. I'm looking forward to their Survivor Series Rematch. I like the way you built that up and made it into something really special. Should be a classic.

Yeah, the current Main Event scene is stale for my view. And I have the draft coming up for both brands. So expect a major change coming that way. So that is why I have given their feud so much time. Getting it over, pushing Cena and RVD. It's going to be a cracker of a match, I have high hopes for it.

Thanks for the feedback, I enjoy reading what others have to say about my work. I also would like people to hit me up with predictions for the PPV. Both Beast and HD have got theirs up, so you should to. Get them in, and get some rep. And a post count boost, everyone wins.

Thanks for the predictions, and just to let everyone know. This thread is still going, I have just had a full couple of weeks. With multiple assessments due next week, and things it is going to be hard to get the shows out. They will be coming, and then we get to Survivor Series. I may be able to get RAW done by next week, but don't count on it. I would again like to say thanks to everyone who reads this thread, and it really is fun to write for you.

Here are my predictions, sir. Am waiting till the PPV to do a review (ps Thanks for mine!)

Singles Match
WWE Championship
Justice (c) vs Triple H
The way you're building up the Church makes me think that there is no way that Justice is ready to lose the title yet.

Singles Match
World Heavyweight Championship
Batista (c) vs Kurt Angle
Hmm, tough one. I just get the feeling that Angle is the man you want as champion, he's had a big build and it might be that Angle gives you more options than Big Dave in the longer term.

Six Man Tag Match
Elimination
Smackdown vs RAW
JBL, Orlando Jordan and Big Show vs Edge, Shawn Michaels and Maxx Van Jules
JBL is big time over in this thread, can't see past him especially with Show by his side.

Singles Match
United States Championship
John Cena (c) vs Rob Van Dam
Should be a cracker, the first match was. I'm thinking it has to be Cena to retain but it will be a belter of a match.

Grudge Match
Submission Match
Chris Jericho vs Ric Flair
Jericho is the logical choice, can't see past him.

Singles Match
Cruiserweight Championship
Nunzio (c) vs Rey Mysterio
Nunzio isn't a great read so I hope and I predict that you will go with the master of the 619 here.

Singles Match
Intercontinental Championship
Jeff Hardy (c) vs Randy Orton
As per Cena, I can't see you having Hardy lose the title just weeks/days after winning it. Would be a great match to see.

Casket Match
The Undertaker vs Mr Kennedy
This is where your surprise will come. Mr Kennedy will win this one and elevate himself to superstardom!

Looking forward to it, will review it when it comes. GCB

Great shows dude. I am not posting Survivor Series bcoz I'm yet to go through the entire stuff. But whatever you have written until now, is totally awesome. Keep goin' and good luck.

With only six days to go to Survivor Series, we kick off RAW. Both Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler are very excited, and are pumped. A shot of the crowd shows that the arena is full tonight, with no seat empty. The ring is filled the props for the Highlight Reel interview segment. With the famous Jeritron or jeritron 5000 as some people call it. Slowly the lights dim, as a spotlight shines at the top of the entrance ramp. Then a clock begins to count down from ten on the big screen. Once it hits zero, a familiar theme song hits. As the crowd jump to their feet.

“Break Down the Walls”

With his music blasting over the arena, Chris Jericho struts out to the ring. Of course he is the happiest person in the world, having lost to Ric Flair last week. The man they call Y2J enters the ring, with the spotlight still on him. Jericho stares out into the crowd, and he can’t believe how many people are here tonight. We are sold out, and it looks to be a good night tonight. With a microphone in his hand Jericho welcomes us to Monday Night RAW. The crowd pop as he mentions the name of the city. After the crowd settle down and everyone is listening, Jericho talks about some of the legends of the business. Stars like Hogan, Austin, Rock, Sting and how these men have faced Flair at one point of their career. He compares himself to these legends, saying that where they failed, he will succeed. All these men failed because they don’t have the passion but Jericho does. They were all terrible in the ring, Jericho is excellent. The rambling continues as Chris Jericho talks himself up beyond anyone’s expectations. After this long rant about how these men are basically worthless, Jericho stops. He looks at the entrance ramp, waiting for something. The people slowly begin to chant “Horsemen”, as Jericho brings the microphone to his lips.

With the people still chanting Jericho ask we all welcome at this time Arn Anderson, JJ Dillon, Tully Blanchard and Ole Anderson, the four horsemen! The crowd jump to their feet as the horsemen appear from behind the curtain. They all throw up the famous hand symbol while walking to the ring. A ref at ringside sits on the rope to allow them to enter the ring with ease. They all take a seat as Jericho welcomes them to the highlight reel. Jim Ross who is on announcing tonight questions how this is going to go. Of course Lawler says it will be fine, it is just a simple interview segment. But nothing is just simple when it comes to Chris Jericho. All the members of the horsemen now have microphones as Jericho checks his mic is still on.

Once again the crowd chant for the horsemen, this time it seems to be getting on the nerves of Chris Jericho. He tells the crowd to settle down so he can begin this. Again Jericho welcomes them to the show, and thanks them for being here tonight on his show. He begins by talking about the connection they all had with Flair. And the bond that they all had as the Four Horsemen. But of course Jericho puts his foot forward by saying it was always Ric Flair and the Four Horsemen. And that Flair had to be seen separate to the group. Because the ego of Flair couldn’t fit in the same room with the rest of the members. Arn tries to defend Flair, but he doesn’t get a chance as Jericho continues. With the crowd booing him Jericho uses the microphone skills he has at his disposal. With Ric Flair being a major player in WCW, Jericho makes the connection that it failed because of Flair. It was Flair and his egomaniac behaviour which killed off one of the best wrestling companies on the planet. Nobody but Ric Flair could kill something with so much momentum, so many fans, and so much star power. Only Flair could do that and if we are not careful, he will do it again.

Jericho now approaches Arn Anderson, and reminds everyone that his nickname was the enforcer. The question to Arn is, what was he enforcing? Was he enforcing the power the group had to change things backstage? The power to stab people in the back? Or to enforce that nobody is to touch Flair, and nobody is to even think about calling Flair out. Arn once again doesn’t get the chance to say anything as Jericho cuts him off. He gets in the face of Arn Anderson, something most people don’t do. With the microphone in place Jericho asks his final question to Arn Anderson. How does it feel to be nothing more than Ric Flairs bitch?!

The crowd “ooooo” and spark may fly here everyone. Quickly Jericho backs off, as Arn stands up on his feet. The crowd can sense a fight here, and so can Jericho. He calls for the security which is standing on the outside. These men enter the ring and ask Arn to take his seat. The legend shakes his head, and mouths something to Jericho. Now Jericho moves looks at the remaining three members of the group. He asks them all to think about something. What would their life be like if Ric Flair wasn’t a part of the horsemen? Before any of them have a chance to answer the question, Jericho jumps in. Nothing would have changed, because Flair wasn’t really a part of the horsemen. Flair was always separate to them, and will be forever. Jericho tells them that if they ever had any self-respect, they would all turn their backs on Flair. That they should all be known as the Four Horsemen, and have no relation with Ric Flair.

But then again, who would care about the horsemen without Ric Flair. It is at this point when Arn Anderson has had enough. He grabs his microphone and just tells Jericho to shut the hell up! Arn says he has listened to Jericho disrespect him, the horsemen and Ric Flair. And he has had enough of it. The Enforcer begins to defend Ric Flair, calling him one of the greatest ever to enter the squared circle. He brings up all the wonderful things did, like helping new talent. Getting people over with the crowd, and just being able to help any new wrestler who comes to the doors of the WWE. Ric Flair is a legend in this business, and Chris Jericho would do well not to forget it. Arn reminds Jericho that Flair has been beating legends before Jericho could tie his shoes. And that everyone in the horsemen deserved their spot.

The Horsemen were and are the greatest stable to ever live. Nobody else has been more dominating than the Four Horsemen, and Chris Jericho couldn’t even tie their shoes. Now this gets a funny reaction by Chris Jericho. He begins to smile and then breaks out in a laugh. Arn quickly asks what is so funny. When Jericho gains himself he asks Arn did he really mean that, that the horsemen are the greatest stable ever. Of course Arn backs up his word, rounding off the champions he has held as well as the other members. Jericho then walks forward with a look of arrogance on his face. He says that he knows a couple of people who would disagree!

“Slow Chemical”

The crowd bust out in fear, as Justice and Kane begin to walk to the ring. But not only that we see the return of…..JAMES MITCHELL! The Father of Death is back, and gives the orders to his monsters. They quickly rush to the ring, as Jericho strikes Arn in the off of the head with a strong forearm. The horsemen quickly try to help Arn but it is too late. Justice and Kane have arrived so Ole tries to take them out. It doesn’t work at all, as Kane delivers a huge boot to the face. JJ Dillon is the next on the listen as he tries to escape. He is just two steps short, because Justice is able to grab him. And on the other side of the ring Kane has Tully in position for a tombstone Piledriver. He looks at Justice who now has JJ Dillon ready for his devastating chokeslam. The war of words between Arn and Jericho has turned physical as Jericho locks in the walls. This deadly submission is the move which Jericho will look to use this Sunday against Ric Flair. When all hope is lost something amazing happens!

“Also sprach Zarathustra”

The crowd go ape shit as Ric Flair appears. He isn’t wearing a robe, just his wrestling trunks. In the ring Justice and Kane release the members of the horsemen they had at their mercy. Of course at the orders of James Mitchell. They wait for Flair to come down to the ring, and it isn’t going to be pretty. It’s 3 on 1, Flair needs some help here!

“The Game”

The crowd were going nuts before, well here comes The Game. Triple H appears with water dripping down his face. Flair has a smile on his face, but once again, it is still 2 on 3. Is there anyone left?

“I Walk Alone”

This is huge, because WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION BATISTA is in the freaking building. With his world title around his waist, Batista runs to the ring with Flair and Triple H in toe. They begin to harmer away at Kane, Justice and Jericho. We see the major feuds going into Survivor Series mark off here, as Triple H vs Justice. Then Flair vs Jericho and then Batista is going after Kane. The Church are on the back foot, with Batista delivering a huge spear on Kane. This knocks Kane to the outside, and James Mitchell calls for a retreat.

I don’t think Flair is letting Jericho go anywhere, as he goes for the figure four leg lock. But Jericho begins to fight, using his legs to kick at Flair. For a split second Flair is rocked by a kick to the face. This allows Jericho is slither away to the outside, and to safety with Kane. However this has left Justice in the ring with Ric Flair, Batista and Triple H! With a huge smile on his face Triple H calls for Batista. The Animal gets into position as Triple H sends Justice into the arms of Batista for a spine buster. The big man is down so Flair locks in the figure four leg lock. The people are cheering, as James Mitchell watches on. Then after Flair breaks the hold, Triple H ends it with a strong pedigree, a little preview for this Sunday.

With the WWE Champion down and out inside the ring, the evolution of the WWE stands tall. With James Mitchell on the outside watching his favourite monster be destroyed, the crowd cheer. Can the monster which has reigned over the WWE be stopped this Sunday?

“I’m Back”

Instant heat for the RAW General Manager, as Eric Bischoff. As the man who has been compared to the devil himself appears the wrestlers stop. The three inside the ring stop the celebration, giving Kane the time to pull Justice to the outside. After watching the mayhem which has happened in the opening segment of his show, Bischoff isn’t happy. The General Manager lays down the law, saying that tonight if they want to fight, then they will get one. Because tonight we will see Chris Jericho vs World Heavyweight Champion Batista and for the Main Event. Ric Flair vs WWE Champion Justice. And in those matches, everybody is banned from ringside. If anybody wants to get involved, then they will be suspended until the Royal Rumble event! Everyone who isn’t in The Church seem happy with the decisions, but none are more angry then James Mitchell. We are only 6 days away from Survivor Series, and we have a blockbuster Main Event. This I Monday Night RAW!

***Commercial***

Back from Commercial Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler talk about the opening segment. Giving hype to the announced matches for later tonight. And they address that during the commercial that the members of the Four Horsemen were helped to the back with medical staff. We may get an update on them if anything is serious.

Undisputed Tag Team Championships
The Bashams vs The Dudley’s

We are ready for the first match of the night, which will see the reigning tag champions defend their gold against The Dudleys. Out first are the current champions in the Bashams. They are representing The Office tonight here on Monday Night RAW. In what will be their first title defence since winning the titles at Unforgiven in a triple threat tag match. With the Champions in the ring, we here the bomb drop as The Dudley’s appear. The crowd pop for the multiple time champions who have a cult like following. Once they enter the ring the ref holds up the titles, and signals for the bell.

It will be Doug Basham vs D-Von to start us off in this title match. These two begin to battle back and forth, it soon turning into a fight. Several right hands to the head of Doug give D-Von the advantage and allow him to deliver a flapjack. A quick cover by D-Von only gets two but wears down Doug. After tagging in Bubba Ray, The Dudleys whip Doug into the turnbuckle. Both men get a run up a deliver a double clothesline. The ref tell D-Von to get out, which he does obeying the rules of the match. Doug is still in the corner, as Bubba Ray swings with the rights and lefts. The shots connect and have rocked the young tag team champion.

But we see why this kid is a champion, as he is able to fight his way out of the corner and tag in his partner. In what was kind of a hot tag, Danny rushes in and cleans house. He takes down Bubba Ray with a solid DDT, then he quickly gets to his feet knocking D-Von off the apron. Now The Bashams deliver some double team attacks, with both of them hitting dropkicks. Quickly Danny whips his brother into the ropes, but they are pulled down by D-Von sending Doug to the outside. Danny goes to strike D-Von, but the veteran hangs the youngster up by pulling his head down as he drops to the ground. With Danny dazed Bubba Ray goes for his finisher, but it is countered into a small package……which gets the 3 count out of nowhere!

Winners: The Bashams

A small portion of the crowd cheer, as The Bashams gain the victory here over The Dudley’s. The Champions are handed their title belts, but don’t get to celebrate for long as…..BEER MONEY ATTACK!

After not being seen on TV for a couple of weeks, Beer Money is here. They begin to attack The Bashams, who are still recovering from their match. A shift kick to the face by James Storm knocks Danny out cold in the ring. Followed by Robert Roode slamming a steel chair off the skull of Doug Basham. He then hands it to Storm who strikes at the body of Danny Basham. At ringside Jim Ross talks about how these two have been the forgotten members of The Church. But Lawler says that will not be the case anymore with this attack. As the Champions lay down inside the ring Beer Money hold the tag titles above their heads as we switch to the backstage area.

Backstage we are with Todd Grisham who gives us a warm welcome. He introduces his guest at this time which is Chris Jericho. As Jericho walks into the view of the camera he is holding his arm. A possible injury from the start of the show. Grisham ask what happened earlier tonight between The Church and the Four Horsemen. The smug and arrogant Chris Jericho says earlier tonight Ric Flair took a cheap shot. He was an interview and Ric Flair comes out to attack him. Yeah Chris Jericho is a man of honour and doesn’t need to use a cheap attack.

Grisham asks if Jericho would watch the tape of what happened, but Jericho quickly tells Todd he doesn’t need to watch it. He saw Flairs dirty tricks and this Sunday, he ends him for good. The final question Todd asks is about Batista, how will you handle him? Jericho doesn’t answer but asks a question of his own. How will Batista handle Chris Jericho? That is the real question tonight.

With Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler killing some time they run down the Survivor Series card. Talking about the different championship matches that are on the card and the feuds. Of course the main focus is hyping the WWE Championship Hell in a Cell match. The rivalry here is huge, and it is going to come to a peak this Sunday at Survivor Series. With that done we are ready to get to our next match here tonight. And this will see Edge taking on Orlando Jordon from Smackdown.

Edge vs Orlando Jordon

Out first is team RAW captain Edge who is wearing a RAW t-shirt. Carrying his Money in the Bank briefcase which holds inside it a championship match at any time he wants. Maybe he could use it this Sunday or even use it at WrestleMania next year. With Edge holding the briefcase above his head while standing on the turnbuckle, we see the famous white limo appear from the stage. Out of the limo appears Jordan and team captain for Smackdown JBL. Both men make their way to the ring, as Edge begins to call them up.

Ross mentions that Edge has been one of the hottest talents on RAW for some time now. He has beaten several champions this year, and a win this Sunday could push him high into the contender ranks without the use of the contract. Now that doesn’t mean Jordan is a talent, as we will see here tonight. The match begins with Edge taunting JBL. These two hate each other, and I mean hate each other. This past week on Smackdown Edge cost JBL his shot at the World Champion Batista. You have to think JBL wants some payback.

Orlando quickly rushes at Edge, but the veteran counters into a drop toe hold. He appears to go for the STF but then just slaps the head of Orlando. It is very embarrassing for the young man, having his mentor at ringside and being slapped by Edge. Now Orlando is angry, he goes after Edge who this time steps out of the way and shoves Jordan into the turnbuckle. His head hits the padded area but it still hurts. Edge takes advantage by delivering the Educator. It goes into a pinning position, but Edge only gets a two count.

The match begins to turn as Edge gets cocky. He grabs the head of Jordan and goes for the DDT, as Edge looks at to the crowd Jordan is able to grab the trunks of Edge. With a hand full of tights Jordan sends Edge to the outside, on the same side as JBL. Now the announcers mention that JBL is very smart and knows how to not be seen by the ref. Inside the ring the ref begins to count. Jordan gets in the view of the ref “complaining” of a hurt shoulder. This allows JBL to deliver a swift kick to the head of Edge. Quickly we see Jordan head to the outside, trying to take advantage of the situation. Grabbing Edge by is hair Jordan pulls him over to the steel steps. The young star takes a few steps back and then runs forward delivering a dropkick to the head with the steel steps behind Edge. You can hear the sound of the head hitting the back of the steel off the dropkick.

Now Jordan rolls Edge into the ring and goes for a cover, but only gets a two count. On the outside JBL is screaming for Orlando to finish him off. Edge is down so Jordan goes to the top rope. He is going for a leg drop that he has been using in recent weeks at non televised events. With his fingers point out Jordan jumps, getting major air time. It is a great start but EDGE MOVES OUT OF THE WAY!

Jordan goes down hitting the ground very hard, as JBL is freaking out on the outside. Edge is to his feet and so are these fans. They begin to chant for Edge, even if he is a bad guy. Jordan is standing and is then hit with the SPEAR. A cover by Edge gets the three count and the win.

Winner: Edge

The celebration begins as Edge stares into the eyes of JBL, these two will face off in the tag match this Sunday. With Orlando down in the ring JBL gets onto the apron. They don’t say anything, Edge and JBL just stare at each other. Fireworks are going to happen at Survivor Series this match is a must see. RAW vs Smackdown who is going to win?

***Commercial***

Back from the break we find the NEW Intercontinental Champion Jeff Hardy who is talking to his brother Matt Hardy. They talk about Randy Orton and how dangerous he can really be. The Viper has been a main talking point this week, and so has his punt kick. Jeff makes sure to stress that Matt must be careful tonight and not to try anything stupid. Everyone knows how good Randy Orton is, but we don’t know how dangerous he is. They continue to talk as the camera shifts from them to a video package.

***Video Package***

A beautiful sunny playground is seen with children playing on a merry go round. They are all singing “ring a ring a rosey”. All the parents are sitting on a park bench with cups of coffee and laughing. It truly is a nice day, nice a wonderful green forest. The lyrics begin to become louder, especially the words “They all fall down”. It begins to repeat, with the video flicking between the beautiful shot to the entire thing in darkness with the forest on fire.

After several flashes it has turned into a night shot of the playground, with all the children down on the ground. The cups of coffee have fallen with the contest dripping down to the grass. And the forest is on fire. In the distance we see a dark figure, we can’t tell who or want it is. The screen flashes, now the figure is closer. It happens again, this time the figure is even closer. With a black trench coat or something of that nature on. The figure is now standing at the merry go round, and is holding something in his hand.

It falls from his hand and lands on the now rusty children’s play toy. The screen flashes once again as we now move closer with the figure gone. The object was paper, and on it reads.

ARMAGEDDON!

***End Video***

Back at ringside Ross and Lawler are speechless about the video, who could it be?

Randy Orton vs Matt Hardy

“Voices” blares over the speakers as The Viper slowly walks out to the ring. The cold hearted Randy Orton is here tonight ready for action. He doesn’t get much time to play to the crowd as Matt Hardy appears at the top of the entrance ramp. Here comes Hardy who rushes to the ring, he slides in and the fight is on. Shots to the head rain down on Orton who tries to cover up. Matt Hardy has been shot out of a cannon here tonight ladies and gentleman. As he continues the assault, the crowd chant Hardy. Mr Version 1 is all over Randy Orton here as the two stumble up. Now that the two are standing it becomes a battle, because nobody can count Orton out of a fist fight. And once again Orton delivers those famous shots, causing Hardy to stumble backward toward the ring ropes.

Now Orton grabs the hand of Hardy and whips him into the turnbuckle. Oh Orton looks good here, as he goes for a clothesline. But Hardy moves out of the way and then executes a roll up…..only getting two. A strong tackle by Hardy takes this match to the ground again. This time Orton is able to escape to the outside of the ring quickly. Holding his head Orton moves over to the guard rail, getting some rest.

But this is Randy Orton, you never give him rest. Hardy exits the ring and goes straight back on the offense here. Like my god Hardy is fighting here, taking it right to The Viper. These shots are all connecting as Orton tries to crawl away from Hardy on the outside. Doing the smart thing, Hardy breaks the count before going after Orton again. Yet this small amount of recovery time allows Orton to gain something inside him. Hardy grabs Orton around the waist and tries to ram him into the announce table. However Orton is able to counter and send Hardy into the ring itself. The back of Hardy slams into the hard edge of the ring. Not just once, but Orton begins to ram Hardy into it time and time again.

This match has turned into the hands of Randy Orton who breaks the count. Now he mouths off against Matt Hardy. Yelling at him to fight, it takes a slap to the face to make Orton see that he isn’t messing with some loser here. The strong right hand slap from Hardy is shocking to everyone. Most of all Orton, and it may have been a huge mistake. The Viper hits a devastating clothesline which nearly knocks Hardy’s head off his shoulders. He rolls Hardy into the ring but makes no cover.

Oh this could get bad here as Randy Orton backs into the corner. The eyes of the Viper tell the story. Matt Hardy is in huge trouble here, as he pushes himself off the mat. You can hear Jim Ross is having trouble keeping himself contained. The punt is coming; everyone is standing on their feet. Here it comes…..NO HE MISSED! Matt Hardy moves out of the way, and nails the side effect. The crowd are cheering, as Hardy calls for the Twist of Fate. Orton is up, holds his head now. He turns around and is kicked in the gut by Hardy. Twist of Fate from Hardy…….NO COUNTER AGAIN BY ORTON, WAIT RKO!

Orton struck with the RKO after countering the Twist of Fate a brilliant move by Orton. Into the cover goes The Viper and he gets the three count rolling toward Survivor Series.

Winner: Randy Orton

With “Voices” heard over the arena Randy Orton poses on top of the turnbuckle. Ross and Lawler both discuss how dangerous The Viper really is. In just six days Orton vs Jeff Hardy, going into it Randy Orton has to be the favourite.

After we return from the break we are in the locker room of Edge. He is taking his boots off after he wrestled a tough match early tonight. As Edge grabs a water bottle from his right side, Muhammad Hassan walks in. The tension in the room is high from some reason. Hassan asks Edge why he wasn’t asked to be on Team RAW. The response from Edge is that Eric Bischoff chose the men to have a chance to represent RAW. The two begin to argue back and forth, with Hassan saying Edge has always put himself first. That Edge never cared for the group. Both men are standing as Edge holds up Money in the Bank briefcase. He reminds Hassan that he has worked very hard for all the chances he gets. While Hassan wishes he got the same chances, all he does is cry about it. Edge goes out to chase the opportunity; maybe Hassan should do the same thing.

Hassan is pissed off here as he gets in the face of Edge. He reminds Edge that this Monday coming is the WWE draft. And Edge better hope he is drafted, because Muhammad Hassan is looking out for himself now. I guess the group is over than. Before Hassan leaves he says one last thing. The people call Edge Rated R, well they’ll be calling me the Middle Eastern Assassin very soon! Hassan leaves the room as Edge watches on.

We now shift to somewhere else backstage and two pair of hands are rotating back and forth in the camera shot. As the camera pulls out it reveals CM Punk. Punk made his debut last week and got some red hot heat from the crowd. This new superstar is looking to make a new for himself here in the WWE so we should all be watching him closely. As Punk looks into the camera he introduces himself. Reminding people that last week he made his debut in World Wrestling Entertainment. He tells people his history, wrestling in the independent seen, and all the training he has done. Unlike the other new comer Sheamus, Punk is sure that Sheamus is nothing than a meat head. He has no skill in the eyes of CM Punk and it doesn’t take much skill to get a cheap shot like he did last week. For those who thought Sheamus got the better of CM Punk last week, you are all wrong. CM Punk showed he didn’t need to use cheap shots, and next week when he makes his in ring debut you will to.

As Punk goes to leave something clicks, quickly he comes back into focus. CM Punk promises that next week, we will all see greatest at work. Why? It’s simple because he is straight edge and that means he is better then you!

With Punk laughing backstage we now go back to ring side with Jim Ross and Jerry Lawler.

Triple H vs Kane

With Ross and Lawler talking about the upcoming PPV “Slow Chemical” hits and the arena goes red. Representing The Church is Kane, who walks to the ring. The Big Red Machine is looking to put an injury on the challenger for the WWE Championship this Sunday. In the ring Kane lifts his arms up; he goes for his promo stunt but “The Game” hits and the crowd jump to their feet. Here comes Triple H who is pumped for this match tonight.

The two trade blows inside the ring, with Triple H getting the better. A strong couple of rights allow Triple H to send Kane into the corner. A nice clothesline connects as Kane staggers forward. With Kane off guard, Triple H lifts him up and nails the spine buster. Now the crowd begin to chant for Triple H, who has been surprising quick to take down Kane. The Monster can never be counted out as he sits up from the spine buster. A look of shock comes across the face of Triple H who then delivers a strong kick to the face. Going for a cover does Triple H but it only gets a two count.

The Game waits for Kane to get up; maybe not a start decision as Kane is standing. A kick to the gut by Triple H as he goes for the Pedigree. He has the arms hocked, but Kane powers out with a back body drop to The Game. Here comes Kane as he delivers a huge uppercut with sends Triple H back. Another one connects as Kane is getting some steam here. With Triple H against the ropes, Kane runs and sends him over the top rope with a clothesline. This match has turned from being all Triple H to being all Kane. The fans in the front row sense something as they take a step back. Slowly Triple H crawls over to the ring post, using it to stand. But Kane is waiting, he yells at Triple H to get up. The Monster runs going for a big boot…..BUT TRIPLE H MOVES!

The leg of Kane is now caught between the ring and the ring post itself. He is hanging upside down as the fans chant for Triple H. Now things get good as Triple H grabs the sledgehammer from under the ring. After weeks of being beaten by The Church Triple H may get some revenge here. The ref warns him not to but that is out the window here. The sledgehammer connects with the knee of Kane.

Winner: Kane

Time and time again Triple H slams the hammer off different body parts of Kane. The Monster is defenceless, and Triple H knows it. A final shot to the head ends this assault by Triple H who holds his weapon above his head. He finishes with a crotch chop as the crowd chant “SUCK IT”.

In the background “The Game” plays as Triple H walks up the ramp, he just gained a huge confidence boost tonight. As he steps inside Hell in a Cell this Sunday what will Triple H do to prepare? Order the PPV because Justice vs Triple H, what could be better?

Backstage we once again find Todd Grisham this time he is joined by World Heavyweight Champion Batista. Grisham welcomes Batista to RAW but ask why he was here tonight. Batista explains that Ric Flair new that the highlight reel would not go off without a hitch. Flair has been in the business long enough to smell a sneak attack. It was the best decision to have some back up and Triple H called me to lend a hand. Everybody knows Batista has a close relationship with Flair so it was no trouble explains Batista. A question about Jericho hits a nerve with Batista, who reminds everyone while Jericho may be great in the ring. Outside of it he is nothing but a snake. He is a rat, and tonight Batista is the trap that will squish him. Batista shakes the hand of Grisham as he gets the call that his match is next.

Batista vs Chris Jericho

This is going to be good as we return to Monday Night RAW with the World Heavyweight Champion in action. Ross and Lawler put Batista over as one of the best World Champions ever. Batista has held the title since Mania so it is hard to argue with that. “I Walk Alone” hits as Batista runs out to the stage. With the title around his waist Batista make his way to the ring as the crowd cheer on. Once he enters the ring Batista pumps out his chest, boom boom!

“Break Down the Walls” hits so the crowd begin to boo. Here comes Chris Jericho who doesn’t look excited to be competing against Batista tonight. But who would be, he is an animal. The waiting begins as Jericho slowly walks around the ring. Inside Batista is telling him to come on, but Jericho is in no rush. Now Jericho waist even more time as he gets a bottle of water off a crew member. This isn’t impressing Batista who now goes after Jericho. The Animal exits the ring and chases Jericho around the ring. Pretty funny for the people in the front row. Jericho slides into the ring and tries to continue his run. But Batista grabs the leg of Jericho to trip him over. Now the two are in the ring so the bell sounds. You can see that Jericho wants out, trying to beg Batista to stop. Did you think Batista would say no? I hope not, as Batista lifts Jericho above his head. As the crowd cheer Batista on, he slams Jericho down to the mat hard.

A cover from Batista gets a two count, as Jericho gets the shoulder up. A couple of shots to the head keep Jericho in the hands of Batista here. Y2J is slung into the turnbuckle, as Batista readies himself for a tackle or spear. The Animal charges forward, however Jericho gets his knee up to block. Stumbling back goes Batista who is then hit with a step up kick to the head by Jericho. The crowd boo as Jericho goes into the cover, again we get a two count. Quickly Jericho goes into a mount position, striking with several punches to the head.

Jericho stands up and raises his hand above his head. This gets some cheat heat before Jericho grabs Batista by the head. He is able to lift Batista up and drop him down for a Suplex. This time Jericho doesn’t cover, but follows up with his signature the lionsault. Now Jericho goes for the cover, but again gets two. It is clear that Jericho is in control so he begins to taunt Batista. Slapping him in the back of the head. Yelling at him, doing anything to get under his skin. Then out of nowhere Batista charges up from the ground, tackling Jericho to the ground. The people cheer as Batista once again lifts Jericho onto his shoulder. Holding him on his right shoulder, Batista then slams Jericho down. With the match back in hand, Batista goes over and shakes the ropes. The crowd once again cheer, they can sense the Batista Bomb. Slowly Jericho stumbles to his feet, holding his head as he does. A stiff kick to the gut by Batista allows him to place Jericho into the position for his finish.

The Animal lifts Batista up going for the Bomb….SOMEHOW JERICHO IS ABLE TO COUNTER INTO THE WALLS. People begin to jump to their feet as Jericho tries to lock in the walls. Batista fights keeping his back on the mat. They continue to struggle back and forth with Jericho slowly turning Batista over. Still Batista doesn’t give up, he continues to fight. In the end Jericho is able to turn Batista over and lock in the walls.

The pain is visible all over the face of Batista. With Jericho holding both of Batista locks and sitting back. If there was ever a time for Batista to dig in, that time is now. For the moment Batista can’t move, every time he tries Jericho sits back further. The pain on the lower back is huge, and I bet Kurt Angle loves this right here. Ross mentions about living to fight another day, maybe that would be the smart decision. It has been nearly twenty seconds and Batista is starting to struggle forward. He digs in fighting to get to the ropes. Jericho is pulling back, using all his mighty……HE GETS TO THE ROPES!

Somehow Batista reached the ropes, but is there anything left. Both men slowly get to their feet, Jericho making it first. Here comes Jericho who charges at Batista, ONLY TO BE HIT WITH A SPINEBUSTER. I can’t believe this, as Batista once again lifts Jericho up and nails the Batista Bomb. With a hurt back, Batista lifted Jericho high up. He goes into the cover and gets the three count.

Winner: World Heavyweight Champion Batista

The Champ gets to his feet but knows he only just walked away with this match. He is handed his title as “I Walk Alone” plays in the background. Jericho is still down in the ring as Batista exits. A fine match between these two, with the crowd really into it.

The camera switches for the ring to Ric Flair who is walking backstage. This living legend stops, and has a smile on his face. From the right comes Triple H, who hugs Flair. Triple H wishes his friend luck tonight, telling him not to get hurt out there. This isn’t the first time has faced someone bigger than him and he reminds Triple H of that. A few jokes about James Mitchell are thrown around but the two remain serious. Again the two hug and Triple H walks off to watch the match via a monitor.

Before Flair can even move Justice and James Mitchell approach him. James Mitchell “wishes” Flair good luck tonight. Can this legend hold his own against our current WWE Champion? Find out next when we return to Monday Night RAW.

Main Event
Ric Flair vs Justice

It is Main Event time, two men who can both go in the ring. WWE Champion Justice has yet to be pinned or made to submit here in the WWE. Can his streak continue here or will Ric Flair overcome the odds. “Also sprach Zarathustra” plays so that means one thing. Ric Flair is making his way to the ring. Wearing one of his famous robes Flair struts down to the ring, Wooooing as he does. The people in the front row bow down to the legend who smiles at them. But this may not be a time to smile Ric. “Slow Chemical” that burst of flames hits as Justice walks out. With the WWE Championship on his shoulder, the dominate champion makes his way to the ring. But to the surprise of many Ric Flair attacks Justice before he gets to the ring. They begin to fight half way down the ramp. Chops by Flair connect to the stomach of Justice who has been caught off guard. Going back to basics does Flair who stomps on the foot of Justice. While it may be childish, it works.

Grabbing Justice by the hair does Flair who pulls him over to the steel steps. Trying to ram the head doesn’t work as Justice over powers Flair sending him into the ring post. The thud of Flair’s head into the ring post is heard over the arena. And he is down, to think this match hasn’t even started. Justice picks Flair up and rolls him into the ring. The bell sounds as Justice covers, but gets two. With Flair down Justice climbs to the second rope, still inside the ring however. He then jumps, dropping the elbow into Flair. Another cover only gets two but Flair is hurt.

Justice grabs Ric by the throat possibly going for the finish, but a quick thumb to the eye stops that. The champion is blind so Flair delivers a chop block to take him down. With the crowd behind him, Flair goes for the figure four leg lock. He is able to wrap one leg but Justice kicks him off. The champion is back to his feet, and nails Flair with several shots to the head. The two go at it with Flair not backing down here. Standing strong against Justice does Flair, keeping in the fight. After going back and forth Justice is able to gain the advantage. He grabs Flair and slings him into the ropes. On the rebound he goes for the boot only to be countered by Flair who ducks. With Justice off balance Flair delivers another chop block.

Here he goes as Flair tries to apply the figure four leg lock. They struggle, Flair is trying his best. Yet Justice is able to power out of it. Kicking Flair across the ring, even shocking the veteran with his strength. Both men make it to their feet, and they go at it again. Justice nails Flair with a strong right hand, so Flair fires back with a chop. This creates a yay vs boo moment for the crowd. Of course Flair is getting the yay, and is also getting the advantage. He goes to whip Justice into the ropes pulling with all his strength. However the weight of Justice allows him to put on the brakes. Instead he grabs Flair by the throat and squeezes. Choking Flair down to his knees and then Justice brings him up high before dropping him in for the chokeslam. A cover is made to get the three count.

Winner: Justice

“Slow Chemical” reigns over the arena as Justice gains the victory. The people boo as Justice holds the WWE Championship above his head once again. Ross and Lawler thank use for being here tonight. We are 6 days away from Survivor Series, will you be there?

***END SHOW***

Great show man, I love the way that you are teasing other things as well as the matches for Survivor Series - Hassan and Edge, Batista and Jericho. I sense that one of the big RAW stars is heading to SMACKDOWN in the draft, maybe Y2J? I enjoyed the show but if I was to give a little criticism, I'd suggest that you need to really build Justice up still. I don't know him and any WWE fan rather than wrestling fan won't know him - you started well with him but now he's just appearing and having a match. I still think you need to make him go over big time to cement him as a big time player.

I'll review properly for Survivor Series like I said. Good stuff. GCB

Yeah I get what you mean about Justice and I think him facing off against someone like Triple H gets him over. Not totally but a good old push in the right direction. I'll do a recorded interview or something that will play on Smackdown. Good to here you enjoyed the show, personally I really liked writing the opening segment. But wasn't to sure on it. And someone big going to Smackdown, who knows.

Keep feedback coming people, rep provided for your efforts. It doesn't have to be long, just something like GCB did.

Opening segment was great and really built on what we already know about Jericho and Flair. I'm not that up on the 4 Horsemen history but you clearly showed that Jericho wanted to exploit some insecurities. It was a great opening and I'm guessing that folks who know the Ric Flair and the 4 Horsemen story will get a lot of stuff better than I did.

Hey. Really looking forward to SmackDown! You've written your shows excellently. I'm also looking forward to Survivor Series. I guess it'll be a Slobber Knocker. Great writing and keep it up! Good luck!

Hey dude. You asked me to post a review. I'll do that after you've posted SmackDown! The cruiserweight matches will be a fun to read. I hope Batista and Angle vs JBL and Kennedy will be solid. They need that extra-hype going in to Survivor Series. If done right, RVD vs Chavo could be a show-stealer. Cena-Carlito, the least match I am looking forward to. HBK-Show will be good. Plus, really looking forward to what you'll do with the promos. Good luck!

Hello and welcome to the final stop before Survivor Series. We are just three days away from one of the big four PPV’s here in the WWE. We kick off Smackdown with Michael Cole and Taz telling us the card for tonight. I’m sure you all know it, so let’s hope it is a cracker. The crowd cheer as the Smackdown theme song plays and the pyro goes off. The shot of the crowd shows several sings the best being “JBL will layeth the Smackdown on all the RAW asses!”

“Longhorn”

The Smackdown crowd begin to boo as JBL makes his way down to the ring. He isn’t in his limo tonight as he will be in action straight away. Wearing his famous white hat this self-made millionaire makes his way to the ring. Tonight JBL is flying solo with no members of The Office in sight. We do however know that they are here. As JBL enters the ring he yells at some young crew member to bring him a microphone. Slowly he begins to walk around the ring, pondering about his past week. JBL addresses the situation with Batista, saying that while he may have not beaten the clock last week. He will be World Champion very soon, and that if Batista makes it past Angle, he will be waiting.

A small Angle chant breaks out but is soon stopped as JBL continues. He reminds everyone that the victory to Batista was only his at the hands of Edge. A man who wasn’t even in the match. Even his own friends are leaving him, as we saw on Monday Night RAW with Mohammad Hassan turning his back on Edge. He fitting it is that a main who has no guts, no respect captains a team full of over rated, no talented wrestlers. They don’t deserve to be in the same ring as this wrestling god JBL proclaims. These men stand no chance against Team Smackdown and this Sunday, JBL will lay the Smackdown on all the candy asses that call themselves members of the RAW roster. He says that Edge is here tonight, with a small cheer from the crowd. JBL gives him an invitation to come down to the ring, and face JBL like a man.

We wait for a moment yet nothing, filling JBL up with a sense of dominance over Edge. Now JBL moves onto Teddy Long. He reminds Teddy that this night is long. It doesn’t matter when, but tonight JBL is going to have a world to Mr Long.

“Turn up the Trouble”

JBL is cut off by Mr Kennedy who claps his way down to the ring. Once Kennedy makes his way to the ring he grabs a microphone from ringside. He tells JBL to stand back and watch this, huge ego stuff here. The usual intro from Kennedy, saying his weight is amazing and yelling at the top of his lungs. It gets the crowd yelling Kennedy as he drops the mic and both men await their opponents.

“I Walk Alone”

The crowd cheer loud for Batista who runs out. He does his machine gun pyro stunt which hurts the ears of the people in the front row. The crowd are pumped as we kick off Smackdown with a Main Event quality match here tonight. With the title around his waist, Batista waits for his partner half way down the entrance ramp. Once again we get a small Angle chant; this is a very pro Angle crowd tonight.

“Gold Medal”

A loud cheer is heard all over the arena as Kurt Angle appears from behind the curtain. The reception for this former champion is wonderful. They people are cheering as both Batista and Angle make it to the ring. Both Taz and Cole question if these men will work well together. Or will they imploded and attack each other?

Batista and Kurt Angle vs JBL and Mr Kennedy

With all four men in the corners, the bell sounds. This match is going to start with JBL vs Angle this should be good. The cocky JBL tells Angle to bring it on, as he stays near his corner. A quick and effective takedown by Angle causes JBL to go to the ground. A switch in position as Angle swifts into a headlock. Some great ground game from Angle follows as he continues to work on the mat. A loud “you can’t wrestle” chant begins toward JBL. With Angle wrestling rings around JBL here. Now they both are up as Angle sends him into the ropes. On the rebound a picture perfect overhead Suplex is delivered. The cover gets a two count, not to the surprise of Angle.

He drags JBL over to the corner and tags in Batista. The Animal is now the legal man, and is about to unleash. Several forearms to the face connect, with Kennedy yelling for the tag. Batista looks over at him and just shakes his head. Lifting JBL onto his shoulders does Batista who then slams him down to the mat. Quickly Batista looks to continue the offence, as he lifts JBL up again. He stares at Angle saying this is how it’s done. But I guess not as JBL rakes the eyes of Batista and then delivers a Suplex. He comes JBL who goes into a mount position and begins to hammer away with shots to the face. Each shot getting harder as the crowd count them. In control now JBL sends Batista over to his corner where JBL tags in Kennedy.

With Batista leaning against the corner, Kennedy grabs the top rope and delivers boots to the stomach. Then he grab Batista by the arm, twisting it to allow him control. Slowly Kennedy brings Batista centre of the ring. Kicking Batista in the knee to bring him down does Kennedy. With Batista on one knee Kennedy talks some smack. Bad move, Batista sweeps the legs taking Kennedy down. The two go at it on the ground, firing punches at each other. Once both are up to their feet, Batista sends Kennedy into the ropes. He seems to go for a back drop; somehow Kennedy puts on the breaks and kicks Batista in the face.

The rocked champion stumbles back as Kennedy prepares for his next move. He rushes up and knocks Batista down with a clothesline. Now Kennedy is confident as he taunts both Angle and Batista. On the apron JBL calls for the tag and Kennedy does it. With Batista down JBL is quick to get on the offence. He drops a big elbow with his entire weight landing on Batista. Not just once but a second time. He raises his arm above his head does JBL, showing his dominance here tonight. Pulling Batista up by the head goes JBL, looking into his eyes. He sends him into the ropes, going for the clothesline from hell. However Batista ducks and spears the hell out of JBL.

The crowd cheer as Angle gets the tag here, going straight on the assault. Some strong shots give Angle the advantage. He uses his large range of suplexs to punish JBL. From the German to the belly to belly. He uses all his knowledge here. The straps come down as Angle calls for the finish. Slowly JBL gets to his feet, holding his head as he does. An Angle Slam is blocked by JBL who is quick to get to his corner. Kennedy is now legal as JBL slides to the outside of the ring. Angle is telling him to come on, with the straps still down. Oh here comes Kennedy and these two go at it. They hammer away in the centre of the ring, with both men standing their ground. The crowd do a small yeah and boo chant. It doesn’t last long as we see Angle gain the advantage here.

Kennedy begins to stumble back as Angle then grabs his arm, sending him over to the corner. Angle is quick to rushes up and clotheslines Kennedy in the corner. As Angle appears to try and put Kennedy on the top of the turn buckle, Batista tags himself in. The two trade words as Batista nails Kennedy with a kick. Both Angle and Batista continue to talk as Kennedy slowly crawls away. This distraction allows JBL to become the legal man. Still with his back turned to JBL, Batista says he knows what he is doing. Angle just shakes his head as JBL raises his arm. The crowd can smell the clothesline from hell here. Batista turns around and JBL charges with the clothesline......BATISTA DUCKS AND NAILS THE SPINEBUSTER!

The crowd pop as Batista shakes the ropes, he call for the Batista Bomb here. Placing JBL between his legs does Batista with the people cheering. Then Angle tags himself in as Batista looks pissed. In comes Kurt who shoves Batista out of the way. A push from Batista gets a cheer from the crowd. Champion and challenger go nose to nose as the people chant fight. With these two hot heads distracted JBL makes the tag to Kennedy who doesn’t enter the ring. Angle finally moves over to JBL who isn’t legal. The Ankle lock is on as JBL begins to tap straight away. The ref begins to tell Angle he isn’t legal. But he doesn’t listen or understand. Slowly Kennedy comes into the ring, as Angle has his head turned to Batista. In just three days these men face off, the tension is high. A strong push by Angle to the chest of Batista gets a huge cheer. The people want them to go at it. Batista being the stronger of the two is able to push Angle so hard he turns around right into the Mic Check. Kennedy goes into the cover as Batista exits the ring, leaving his partner. A three count is made and Kennedy and JBL pick up the win here tonight.

Winners: Mr Kennedy and JBL

“Turn up the Trouble” hits as Mr Kennedy makes it to his feet. The celebration begins as JBL gets rid of the trash left in the ring. He kicks Angle to the outside as Mr Kennedy looks on. The two give a nod of approval to each other as JBL exits the ring. After a fine performance Kennedy goes to leave but the lights go out!

When the come back on Undertaker is in the ring. This doesn’t surprise Kennedy who calmly turns around with a grin on his face. With a microphone in his hand Taker reminds Kennedy that in just 3 short days they meet at Survivor Series. After just 3 short weeks Kennedy has moved up the ranks here on Smackdown. However he is nowhere near the level of The Undertaker. Many men have fallen to the power of The Undertaker, men who have had years of experience. Men who have battled the best in the business have fallen down to the feet of The Undertaker. Come this Sunday Mr Kennedy your short career comes to an end. When you step into the ring with me, your soul becomes mine. When the casket lid closes then you will be mine. When the bell tolls, your career is over. By the end of the night Mr Kennedy, you will REST…IN…PEACE!

”Graveyard Symphony”

The Undertaker has given a warning to Mr Kennedy, come Survivor Series he may be seeing the end of his career. What is going to happen when these two meet, and don’t go anywhere as we return to Friday Night Smackdown.

***Commercial***

Once we return to Smackdown we find Team Captain for RAW Edge, talking to Maxx Van Jules and Shawn Michaels. With three days left until they meet team Smackdown Edge makes it a point that nobody gains an injury. They need to stay healthy and that’s leads him to Shawn. Everyone knows how dangerous Big Show can be, and Shawn has to be careful out there. Shawn response saying that he can handle himself with anyone. Big Show isn’t the first big man that Michaels has faced. Edge nods and says he knows, he just doesn’t need anything bad to happen this close to the Pay Per View. He turns his attention to Maxx, who has been silent for the segment. Since this will be the first big match for Maxx, Edge tells him to stick with them and he will be fine. The team walk down the hall as we go to ringside for our next match.

At ringside Taz and Cole run down the RAW brand mainly speaking about Eric Bischoff. We then get a replay of the United States Championship match which took place two weeks ago. Cole goes over how RVD wants his title back and it should be a cracker of a match.

Rob Van Dam vs Chavo

“One of a Kind” the crowd jump to their feet as the music hits. Straight away we here the RVD chant from the crowd as Van Dam appears. A smile is on the face of Mr PPV, who quickly runs to the ring. It doesn’t take him long to get there as RVD preforms backflip for the crowd to get a good reaction. "Chavito Ardiente" instant heat as the Mexican Warrior makes his way to the ring. With what looks to be some kind of poncho on Chavo plays to the crowd. He shows his experience by taunting the children to gain some heat here. Once he enters the ring he gets in the face of RVD, who doesn’t respond at all.

The bell rings and the match is on. The two begin to circle the ring, watching each other very closely. The first move is mad by Chavo who tries to take out the leg of RVD. However Rob fights him off so Chavo back peddles quickly. Once again Chavo tries to sweep the leg, this time Rob delivers a swift kick to the face. The crack is heard over the arena as Rob is quick to take advantage. He rushes up grabbing Chavo by the head and nails a tornado DDT. A cover is made but it only gets a two count. Rob goes to the top rope and looks to be preparing for the frog splash. The crowd cheer as Rob does his RVD signal. This however gives Chavo the chance to get up and counter. He climbs the top rope and hocks the arms, delivering a superplex to Rob Van Dam.

No cover is made as Chavo grabs the head of Rob. He then hits the triple vertical suplexs, as the crowd chant one, two, and three. The cocky Mexican in Chavo shows his charisma. Taunting not only RVD but also the crowd. He looks down at RVD who is still to get up. Slowly Chavo moves over to Rob grabbing him by the arm. Twisting the arm does Chavo who now brings Rob over to the corner. It is there Chavo delivers several kicks to the stomach, wanting to work on the middle section of Rob. The fans begin a lets go Rob chant as Chavo places him on the top rope. It appears like Chavo is going for the superplex, but it isn’t working this time.

Rob fights back, hammering away with several forearms to the face. Chavo is in trouble, then RVD shoves Chavo off and down to the mat below. The crowd get to their feet as Rob stands up, he doesn’t waste time doing his signal but just jumps. The people cheer as Rob nails Chavo with the frog splash. He rolls around holding his stomach, but is able to get the cover and the three count.

Winner: Rob Van Dam

“One of a Kind” once again we here Rob’s music as he picks up a solid win heading toward Survivor Series. As he gets to his feet the celebration is cut short…..JOHN CENA HITS THE RING WITH A STEEL CHAIR IN HAND. Quickly Rob spots Cena coming and prepares to fight. Cena takes a swing with the chair but Rob ducks and hits a dropkick which slams the chair into the face of Cena. The crowd cheer as Rob grabs the chair, holding it up for all to see. This isn’t going to be good as Rob nails Cena several times in the back with the weapon. It looks like this little sneak attack has turned against Cena with RVD standing tall here tonight. Cena is down as Rob exits the ring with the chair in hand.

With Cena down in the ring we get a shot of the announcers. Cole and Taz talk about the past months and the changes that have happened. The major being the debut of Justice. Cole tells us to take a seat and watch as we take an inside look at our WWE Champion Justice.

We return to Friday Night Smackdown with the people still thinking about the video about Justice. A true look into the pure dominance of the current WWE Champion. On a lighter note, are you ready for some cruiserweight action here tonight? It’s a tag team match with some of the best cruiserweights in the world. Cole sounds excited as we get ready for this fast paced match.

Nunzio and Billy Kidman vs Rey Mysterio and Paul London

With Kidman and Nunzio already in the ring they wait for their opponents. The people chant for Mysterio who has been getting a strong response as of late. “Booyaka 619” the people stand up as the most exciting superstar in the WWE hits the ring. Rey Mysterio with Paul London rush to the ring as they get a great response from the crowd. The bell sounds quickly so London goes after Kidman. These two former friends’ trade kicks, with both men being able to use their feet. Each time a kick connects it gets louder, with Kidman seemly getting the better here. His shots are doing more damage so he puts even more power behind them.

London tries to cover his leg but Kidman kicks his hand away. Kidman has London on the back pedal, so he whips him into the ropes. The back body drop is countered by London who turns it into a roll up, only getting a two count. Understanding what just happened; Kidman delivers a forearm to the face, which rocks London. Quickly Kidman begins to hammer away with shots to the face, his fist connecting every time. On the apron Rey is trying to get the people to cheer London on. Give him some inspiration to fight back. Of course Kidman gets off the offence and mouths off to Mysterio who tries to kick him. It gets a little laugh from the crowd as Kidman nearly falls over. With his attention on Rey, Paul London gathers himself and runs. He is able to jump over Kidman and tag in Mysterio.

Here he comes as Mysterio sling shots himself over the top rope and onto Kidman. His offence is a show for the kids as Mysterio does all types of flips and spins. The people watch on as Rey is all over Kidman here. He sends Kidman into the corner, and points up to the heavens. In an incredible spot Rey runs up to the ropes and wraps his legs around the head of Kidman. He goes to sends him across the ring but somehow Kidman counters and nails a powerbomb.

The head of Mysterio hits the mat hard, and with Rey down Nunzio wants in. The champion gets the tag as Mysterio is slowly getting to his feet. The landing was bad for Mysterio who is struggling to get up. Of course Nunzio takes advantage with a quick chop block, and several kicks to the head. That big red boot connects multiple times as Rey is in real trouble here. A cover from Nunzio gets two with Nunzio quick to go on another attack. He hammers away with punches holding onto the mask for leverage. Nunzio now stands back looking down at the man who hopes to take his title in just three days. He gets cocky and slaps Rey in the head. However he doesn’t see that they have moved near the ropes. In a split second Rey kicks the knee of Nunzio sending him to the middle rope. Finally Rey gets to his feet and tags in London, however Rey doesn’t leave. With what strength is left Rey hits the 619. From there Paul London goes to the top rope and hits the 450 splash for the win.

Winners: Rey Mysterio and Paul London

With the match over medical staff come down to the ring and check on Rey Mysterio. They take him backstage as London watches on from the ring. A nice win for Mysterio with his title match coming soon. From here we go backstage and we find JBL having words with Big Show. The two have a conversation about this Sunday and JBL says that he wants Shawn broken tonight. A threat of kicking Big Show off the team is made if he allows Shawn Michaels to walk out of the building tonight. This doesn’t last long as Show stands his ground and JBL tells him to just win. He is representing Smackdown out there, so make it a win. Big Show tells JBL not to worry about it; he’ll do fine against Shawn. The two have battled before, and more often than not, he has won the match. The two shake hands as Show walks off, leaving JBL with a smile on his face. From behind we see Orlando Jordan walk up. The two look at each other as JBL tells him that if he loses at Survivor Series he’ll be looking for a new job. The tension is high with Jordan losing this past week on RAW. We head back to ringside with JBL going to find Teddy Long.

It turns out we are not going back to ringside as the camera goes to a shot of Todd Grisham. A nice welcome by Grisham who introduces his guest the returning Carlito. With his famous apple in hand Carlito smiles at Todd, saying hello and it is good to be back. Carlito reminds us all he has beaten John Cena before and even the Doctor of Thuganomics gets ill sometimes. Tonight on his return to the WWE, he will defeat John Cena. Now das, das cool. Carlito takes a huge bite of the apple and then spits it in the face of Grisham saying he still got it.

Carlito vs John Cena

This time we really go back to ringside as we prepare for our night match. “My Time Is Now” with his new theme music playing the United States Champion John Cena appears. With the title around his waist Cena throws his hands up above his head. You can see he is still hurting from the chair shots he received from RVD, but he is still going to compete. Cena looks to be all business tonight, with his game face on. “Cool” here it is the return of Carlito. After already spitting in the face of Todd Grisham tonight, Carlito looks focused.

With both men in the ring the bell sounds. These two men know each other very well, being in hard battles in the past. They lock up; fighting for a moment, but Cena gains the better. He swifts into a Suplex position followed by the move being executed. A quick cover gets a two count for John Cena. After the Suplex Carlito is quick to his feet, and is able to hit Cena in the face. With Cena rocked Carlito grabs the head, delivering a neckbreaker. This time it is Carlito who gets a two count, after the neckbreaker.

Carlito grabs Cena by the head pulling him to his feet. Once again Carlito goes for the neckbreaker, until Cena counters into a spinout powerbomb. The people give a mixed reaction for Cena. He raises his right hand and says you can’t see me Carlito. He runs off the ropes and nails the five knuckle shuffle to a small cheer from the crowd. Cole and Taz mention that Cena may be going for the FU here. I’m sure nobody else picked up on that. Cena is able to get Carlito onto his shoulders but is unable to hit the FU. In a show of skill, Carlito is able to push himself off the shoulders and land safely on the ground. From there he delivers his finisher the backstabber. A cover from Carlito gets a two count, only just.

It looks like Cena is still hurting from the attack from before, and isn’t preforming like he usually would. Carlito now drops an elbow into the chest of Cena, and delivers several kicks. Slowly Carlito turns his head, looking at the top rope. The people cheer as Carlito signals for a high risk move. The crowd stand on their feet, as Carlito calls for a crossbody. However Cena is over the other side of the ring. It’s too late now as Carlito is ready. After stumbling to his feet Cena turns around and Carlito dives. At the last moment Cena is able to jump out of the way. So Carlito goes crashing down to the ground. Quickly Cena takes advantage with the STFU, which makes Carlito tap out after a nice match.

Winner: John Cena

“My Time Is Now”, oh the joy. With three days until Survivor Series John Cena has gained a strong victory over the returning Carlito. He holds the United States Championship above his head as we go to commercial.

Date: October 2, 2005
Venue: New Orleans Arena; New Orleans, Louisiana
Theme Song: Hero by Skillet

After last week’s actions by Teddy Long, JBL has been looking for him all night. And he has found him! In his office Teddy Long is being yelled at by JBL. Saying that he screwed him out of his title shot last week. Teddy looks to stand his ground, which really just makes JBL even angrier. Long says he has taken this stuff from JBL for too long. He isn’t going to be bullied into making decisions anymore, this is his show. Smackdown is run by Teddy Long and as General Manager he is ordering JBL leave his office. The arrogant JBL points his finger at Long and tells him this isn’t over by a long shot.

Main Event
Big Show vs Shawn Michaels

Well it is Main Event time, the last match before Survivor Series. We get a tale of the tape, with nearly everything going to The Big Show. Cole picks Smackdown to win tonight and at Survivor Series. “Sexy Boy” a strong reception for Shawn Michaels who is representing Monday Night RAW, He is wearing a red RAW shirt to show is colours as Maxx Van Jules comes with him to ringside. The pyro doesn’t go off in the ring, maybe a mind game played by Smackdown. “Crank it Up” both Taz and Cole put over the Big Show. Not like he needs it but they remind everyone he is the world’s largest athlete. And he has beaten Shawn Michaels in the past. He has Orlando Jordan with him tonight. It seems both team captains will not be at ringside for this match tonight.

A solid Main Event here as Big Show takes the advantage early. He lifts Shawn up off the ground to play mind games, as Shawn is quick to escape and back into the corner. A loud yell from the Big Show gets Michaels fired up. Here comes Shawn who charges toward the big man. He connects with a couple of shots to the head, but Show is able to once again shove him back. Nearly to the opposite side of the ring mind you, really showing his power. Maxx on the outside gives Shawn some encouragement, probably just annoying Shawn more than anything.

The two men meet centre of the ring, trading shots. Well Big Show doesn’t connect as Shawn is able to duck every shot. But is able to hit all of his own. Show is getting mad as he grabs the head of Shawn, squeezing it with his hand. Shawn begins to go down, as the grip gets stronger. Once again Maxx tries to give encouragement, but it is no help. With Shawn in the palm of his hand, Show grabs Michaels by the neck. On the outside Jordan gets excited, wanting to see the chokeslam.

After having his head squash it is amazing as Shawn fights back. Hitting, scratching, doing anything he can. In the end the grip is broken and Shawn goes for the superkick. The boot nearly connects, somehow however Big Show counters. He is able to catch the foot, and then clothesline the hell out of Michaels. With a strong shot Michaels is down and Show covers. Only getting two, but it was very close. The right hand of the Big Show is up. He grabs Shawn by the head, looking for the knock out shot.

“Metalingus”

The crowd go nuts as Edge runs out to the ring, going to save his partner for this Sunday. He hits the ring going for the spear. However Big Show is able to grab Edge by the throat, he goes for the chokeslam but from behind Maxx Van Jules delivers a low blow. Team RAW are all over the Big Show, with Orlando Jordan not knowing what to do.

“Longhorn”

I think Cole and Taz may have just marked out, because here comes JBL. With a Smackdown shirt on JBL rushes down to the ring. He and Jordan make the save for Big Show with JBL hitting his clothesline on Jules. And another one for Michaels. Team Smackdown have taken control here, as Edge is the only member left standing for RAW. Fear takes over as Edge fights for his life. Swinging lefts and right, but they are no use. Big Show delivers one hell of a right hand to knock Edge out. We end Smackdown with this, tonight Smackdown has beaten RAW. They stand tall while Edge is knocked out cold. In just three days we see many battles. From Hell in a Cell to the cruiserweights. Don’t miss anything, because Survivor Series will be amazing!

***END SHOW***

Well we are finally here, Survivor Series is coming. I'm going to be putting everything into this PPV and I want it to be fantastic. Thanks to everyone who is reading and feedback is welcomed. If you have a show I'll review that, if I have given you a review, please return it.

I’ll do a bit of a review for both RAW and Smackdown at the same time.
RAW

Wasn’t sure about the promo method at first... still torn to be honest... on one hand it kinda makes it easier to read... but on the other it just doesn’t make it... realistic as writing out the promos would. Really torn on it. Interested to see what made you decide to do it this way?

I like your style of writing... you convey a lot of information in your description without making it seem heavy and laborious to read...

You’ve really built the matches for Survivor Series well – opening segment helped.
I like that you’re made the Smackdown vs Raw match a lot more personal than they are usually presented by the WWE. Brand loyalty never seems to mean much, so making it about more than that has been a good move.

LOVED the Armageddon video package.

Smackdown

Loved the beginning of Smackdown, the enemies teaming idea always works well,
You’re very good at video packages, they always seem realistic and you describe them really well so they’re easy to visualise.

Again, really love the way you’ve hyped the Smackdown vs Raw Match, I think it’s the one I’m actually looking forward to reading most.

Maybe the one thing I would say... and i’m really struggling to find anything... but if I was going to say one thing, it would be that the Champions on each brand almost seemed to take a backseat, more on Smackdown than Raw? On RAW, it seemed to be a lot about Jericho, and on Smackdown a lot about JBL. Wonder whether an interview for Batista or something later on in the Smackdown show would’ve helped? Only a tiny little thing though.

Great Shows... loved them both... looking forward to reading Survivor Series!

Here's the review you've been long waiting for mentor.

Great opening match. I picked it to be the best. It turned out to be. Great match-writing here and the finish was realistic. The Undertaker promo was decent. The message came across. Only thing is, Kennedy should have been depicted as "being scared".

RVD vs Chavo didn't live up to my expectations. Thought it would've been the show-stealer but it turned out to be just good. Behind the opening match-up. The Cena-thing was good. But Cena should have got the upperhand.

The video was usual good.

The cruiser-weight tag team match failed to attract me to be honest.

Carlito-Cena was good. Good depiction of Cena and Carlito. You made it to the mark here.

Umm, the main-event, good. Solid. But there should have been a result. Maybe Show winning after a well and true "main-event". The finale of the show was good. I like SmackDown! being given the upperhand.

And the last thing, as the poster above me said, the champions tend to take a back-seat. But it's just a minor thing. Keep that in mind and you'll be fine.

In the end, a pretty good show heading into Survivor Series.

GLOBAL ICON

Thanks for the review guys, Icon I'll rep you when I can. I would like to cover some things however. Firstly the Chavo vs RVD match was just to get Rob some air time. He hadn't done much so I needed him to gain a victory against someone. Chavo was the right choice as it gives him a win over a veteran. The Champions did take a back seat as I wanted to push other matches heading into Survivor Series. If you take a look I had very little hype for Smackdown vs RAW. I picked up this week and have made it a match to watch out for. I understand what you are saying, and I should of had more Batista this week. But he did however appear on both shows. Once again thanks for the reviews, and I hope to get more.
