Gotta go with Ridge Racer here. I've never been a big racing game guy myself, but this was one of the few games that everybody who owned a Playstation played. Great racing game that I'm sure Echelon will be here shortly to rave about it some more.

Warioware I think I've played once, maybe twice. Wasn't very impressed. Ridge Racer here for sure.

Actually X believe it or not I've never played Ridge Racer, I never owned a Playstation... the N64 was my system. My friend that owned the Playstation wasn't really big on racers and thus never owned Ridge Racer (he was big on shooters)

Ridge Racer was the Playstation counterpart of Crusin' USA and later Crusin' World and Exotica, a series which I came to love on my 64.

Ridge Racer.

It was a good little racer. Great fun. As X said, everyone who owned a Playstation at some time owned this game. It was THE racer to have for the Playstation.

WarioWare? Wasn't that the one with a lot of mini-games? Meh. I wasn't all that impressed with it.

Wario Ware.
Wario Ware was a hilarious and unique game. It was the most perfect portable game since Tetris was released on the Game Boy. The action was frantic and it was very hard to get bored of it. Plus, it had Mona it it and she's cute.
The already ridiculous concept (Quick! We're going to throw a load of five-second long games at you and give one word instructions!) was made even better by the sheer insanity and weirdness of all the minigames. Tapping A to clear allergies, or jumping so the egg doesn't fall off the chicken's back, was never this much fun.
It's a shame this is only the GBA version, because I could go on about the series and the GC remake. So many great times in multiplayer mode.
MAybe I'm biased, because I'm a Ninty fanboy and not all that into racers, but my vote definitely goes with Wario Ware. It was just plain fun, and that's all some videogames need.

WarioWare. Ridge Racer was just a racing game that I shunned in favour of the supine Gran Turismo. Warioware was addictive, challenging arcade style play, with unlockable games.

It's a great nostalgia trip for any old NES fan, with homages to everything from Punch Out to Custer's Last Stand. No raping though.
