Corre's not doing it for me..

I like wade barret,I love gabriel, and slater is pretty cool,ezekial is a beast but corre just doesn't do it for me. why you ask? because its to small. wade was in nexus,had 8 orginal then down to 7 and fluxed until cm came in and cut it down to 4. and its not even its to small,I just relized as I type this nexus is 4 and I like them,but corre needs new everything.

They need a new logo I hate the one they have now they need armands with red "C"s on them. They need a new theme song because "I'll be you end of days" is the crapiest theme I've heard in a while.

I think if they get a new guy yto join then I'd like them better, someone like jack fucking swagger. I could see swagger doing a corre gimmick. am I the only person who feels like The Corre just isn't doing anything for you? and anyone have ideas to make it better? new logo? new theme? new memeber?

The Corre don't need no new members, keep adding members and the whole Equalarity between the members becomes even more hard to believe then what it is now.

Changing the logo won't make any affect with the stable's name being the corre. It fits, how can the name of the stable as the logo not work?

Their theme song isn't supposed to get people to jump up and cheer. they're heels, It might not be a great song, but for the stable it's perfect.

Instead of trying to "fix" the corre, they should just end it and have wade go on by himself.

As much as I like Corre, I feel its like "Same shit different day." I'm not doubting the talents and abilities of each one. But I kind of feel like they're getting stuck in mid-card. Plus, with Wade, almost coming out as the unofficial spokesperson, yet, Gabriel and Slater get the gold on them, before Wade does? I mean, I know I tend to be a Wade mark, but I'm feeling like a group just doesn't work any longer for him. Yeah, it makes for interesting situations and another way to make a big impact when coming over to a new brand, but its hard to top the way Nexus debuted to WWE.

Call me crazy, but as talented as all these guys are (Zeke, last ECW champ, Gabriel and Slater 3 time tag team champs). Why not see what can progress for the guys individually? I still think Corre is okay, don't get me wrong, but even I tend to find Nexus possibly running its course sooner or later as well. The more you replace people and go through different versions, people could eventually get a bit bored. I think the reason some people may still tune in, is because there is a spokesman that makes great arguments for the groups. Case in point, Punk for Nexus, and Barrett is a smooth talker for Corre. I mean, either make some better creative or let's find something else for them to do, maybe even give Barrett a bit more to do.

The Corre is getting stale and boring. I don't know where on earth is WWE heading but from my perspective, The Corre will be heading nowhere. Barrett don't seem as strong as he should be, Slater and Gabriel have received received a slight push but they are basically playing second fiddle to the likes of Barrett and Jackson. Ezekiel Jackson is the only one that seems to be heading in the right direction, but who will this monster face after The Big Show? Why is The Corre feuding with Big Show anyway? They should be targeting the likes of Edge but thats only all that they can do. Smackdown don't gave top faces that The Corre can feud with, I have the feeling that they might disband after Wrestlemania

Yeah I'm kinda with you on this, their idea was to clearly keep the momentum with Barrett but they simply don't have the same presence as the Nexus. They just roll out each week with those DREADFUL (and I mean dreadful - who the hell designed those??) t-shirts and feud with the Big Show - just like the SES but nowhere near as interesting.

The booking is strange as well, they looked to have been building a program between Show and Jackson, but the seem to think having Show burying Barrett in the meantime is a worthwhile way of keeping all going?? When Jackson suplexed Show, that was really cool!

They need to be careful with Barrett that they don't make him and his cronies look less credible by the week. He is one of the most talented young guys on the roster but at the moment the Corre seems to be bringing him down rather than building him up

you know what this stable lacks? main event picture!
last year the nexus lead by mr wade barret himself saw countless after countless attacks on cena who undoubtebly is the face of this company. the corre simply attack the big show. either find a way of making both the big show + the corre a main event type feud or get the corre to change to feuding with taker post wm. either way, the corre aren't doing anything until they have something that sells ppv's. think taker vs barrett post wm think!

I Have to agree with one thing, they need a new theme song, a song that since is beggining we could automatically relate to 4 guys, that can destroy everything!!

The Corre is great. . . For me its something that we dont ever see, so end it, will only cause firing Heat Slater and if Corre ends, Nexus has to end too...

Whats the purpose of The Nexus??? Since CM PUNK, i dont ever remember seeing any of the rest of nexus doing anything!!

I actually find the Corre more exciting than Nexus. neXus just isn't doing it for me. Wade was and always will be the true leader of Nexus. They have a decent feud going on with Big Show rite now. And Nexus' feud with Orton hasn't been going on much lately. And I hated how they ended the Cena/Nexus feud. Really, @ the RR just by eliminating them?

I'll admit, The Corre hasn't done anything to wow me yet. I'm kind of interested to see where the Big Show/Ezekiel Jackson stuff might go, but nothing else about The Corre excites me. This stable just seems to be there on Smackdown. The really don't have the same presence as Barrett's Nexus did on Raw. The gang attacks have become kind of tiresome now, and it just seems like this stable is going through the same motions as the old Nexus.

The Corre just comes off as another variation of the Nexus. The Nexus started out with a bang, but everything about The Corre has been very plain and ordinary so far.

Core isn't interesting right now because they're not in any storylines really, which is just baffling how you form this group led by a huge talent in Barrett and then do nothing with them.

Just like any other form of entertainment, if the story isn't fun, if you don't care about the characters, you lose interest quickly. The actual wrestling will only take these guys so far.

Also, they're on Smackdown, which is unfortunately a strike against them right there. I kept shaking my head on Friday when they spent like 40 minutes recapping RAW stories. There was ONE storyline with Edge/Vicki/Teddy and then some filler matches. This close to wrestlemania, that is a travesty. Why they don't put in enough effort to make Smackdown an equal to RAW or at least close is insane.

The way I'd have booked it:

Barrett has just been ousted from HIS stable by CM Punk, and he realises that the old Nexus was too focussed around him and he'd made himself vulnerable. By being one man amongst equals he can foster an "all-for-one and one-for-all" mentality in the Corre.

So The Corre are turned face. They support each other, but don't interfere in each other's matches, and have a sympathetic reason to turn on a heel. They protect their man from run ins and they turn their attention to taking CM Punk out. (They have a real motive for that). They aim to merge Nexus and The Corre as Nexus-but-equals.

So the now-face Corre and Nexus start raising hell with each other.

When Nexus do a run in (just because) Corre will counter run in, they butt heads a lot, but without matches against each other.

Tension rises - CM Punk feels that the Corre is making life difficult for the Nexus to achieve its aims, so he starts targetting The Corre. He may temporarily take out Barrett, but finds that The Corre hold together without Barrett. (All-for-one, etc...)

Eventually the two sides meet in a big PPV elimination tag match. Possible endings are:

1. The Nexus win, The Corre are disbanded or move to Smackdown to something. The Nexus have a reign of terror for around 6 months, while the Corre regroup, before coming back to destroy Nexus.

2. The Corre win, and get back Gabriel and Slater, and Ryan joins too. CM Punk is ousted.

3. CM Punk tries to turn The Corre against each other. This doesn't entirely work, but he does manage to get someone in the Corre to betray the Corre.


All three endings leave a continuation of the storyline open, while still offering some resolution and some sensible motives.

Besides, it would be nice to have a face stable again.

The Corre just need something to do and they'll be golden.

Barrett, Gabriel and Slater are the only 'original original' ones, and I'd really like them to do something like the Nexus that they created did. Attacking the Big Show for weeks on end is stale as balls now and they need a change. And fast.

Punk doesn't need the neXus anymore. Some may argue that he didn't need them in the first place, but I think he needed a way to show that he was above others, so he took over as leader.

neXus vs Corre at Mania would've been great. That ended both factions and Punk, Barrett, Otunga and Justin+Slater go their separate ways.

I also dislike Corre's logo.

truthfully i think its time for wade barrett to go solo. he has been involved in stables for like a year now and i think the corre is holding him back from becoming something big. I guess it gives more exposure to people like zeke and gabriel and slater but wade barrett has plenty of potential to become big by himself.

They dont look right, they dont gel, they do infact need Barrett to be the leader! Does Zeek ever wrestle?
Also I think they would look better if they all wore red and black to match the t shirts.

When Gabriel comes out with white boots and trunks while the others have some sort of red theme going on it justs looks odd!! That for a start would help.
