I dont understand why they were making such a huge deal about that last play selection. Um hello, punt. thats why you have people going to school for free to do. 1 of them to kick it, 10 of them to tackle the guy who catches it.

I knew exactly how that would go. punt, maclin runs around, backwards, sideways, like an idiot for 10 seconds, game over. simple

But, the Coach is getting paid hundreds of thousands of dollars a year to win that game. And willingly putting the ball into the hands of the other teams best player, who just happens to be the best at his position of any player in the nation, is not an easy decision to make.

I disagree. He has a rocket arm, and he's mobile. Plus, he's a winner, and not a publicity risk.

Actually, I see him as the new and improved Brett favre. They were/are very similar in size and game at this age. He's only 20, give him time.

Hell yeah for the college football LD today. I just wanted to brag about my team doing some winning, and it turned into an all day event. And since we aren't going to stay on to analyze Oregon and UCLA, thanks everyone. I had fun with this today.

The time was already wasted. Maclin can't count in his head how much time he has. See the Notre Dame vs. UNC game for proof of that game. He just has to assume he's the only chance they have. Hell, OK St. took a timeout right before 3rd down, so you know Pinkel told his team what to do.

ESPN.com has a poll up asking who should be number one, Texas, Penn St. or Bama. It looks like a conference map. Big 12 states in green for Texas and SEC states in blue for Bama. It's funny.

What do you guys think Texas or Bama?
