A REAL American
As we seen last Sunday at the hell in a cell pay per view, Cody Rhodes has brought back the classic/old school WWF IC title belt. Because he wants to be remember as one of the great IC champions of all-time like Ricky Steamboat, Mr. Perfect, Bret Hart, and Steve Austin as he named on the mic. All WWE hall of famers. We cannot go forward without looking back at the past. But in the world of pro wrestling, isn't it reverse?

Remember back in 1993 in ECW, When it was then known as Eastern Championship Wrestling? And when wrestling badboy Shane Douglas won the then vacant ECW championship over 2 Cold Scorpio. He through down the old NWA-ECW title in the middle of the ring and brought in a "new" ECW title. Dubbing it the "EXTREME Championship Wrestling" title. He was helping bring in a "new" era of wrestling, a "new" era of superstars. Because he didn't want to be remembered for holding a title that was apart of wrestlings past such as with it's old holders, in Harley Race, Dusty Rhodes, and the Ric Flair's.

But Cody Rhodes is going by this title style changing thing in the reverse way with the WWE IC championship. If I were Cody Rhodes I'd just bring in a newer verison of the IC title somewhat to what Shane Douglas did in ECW.

How would you have done it?
