Ok, this is downright ridiculous. As some of you may know, Punk and CB have been exchanging tweets over the past couple of days. Punk, out of the blue brings up the Chris Brown/Rhianna incident just as its announced that CB and Ri are making amends. Ignoring the fact that its completely childish to try to stir up problems between two individuals who are trying to put such an embarrassing situation behind them, Punk brings up something that happened 3 years ago. For those of you who think thats ok, I hope to God someone uses something bad that happened to you 3 years ago against you for the rest of your lives, then maybe you'd understand what its like to be in Chris' shoes. The funniest part is if you ask Rhianna right now if Chris deserves a beatdown she'll say no for two reasons. 1) she started the conflict by looking through someone else's phone without permission, 2) shes already made amends with Chris, inviting him to her birthday party and collaborating with him in two songs. So whos side have you taken on this issue? Do you think its a work? I hope it is, or else this is completely childish on Punk's part.

i am not 100% sure how to respond to this. Starting an argument in no way means she deserved to have her ass kicked. My wife has started arguments with my...should i hit her also.

CM Punk is dead on right here. Rihanna is setting an extremely bad example to all women by even communicating with this dude on a regular basis.(we all know they are sleeping together again). Its once thing to forgive and move on...but to forgive and get back toghether? on top of that she is a role model for millions of young ladies and what does she do...get back with the man who kicked her ass.

well done idiot.....Punk is right....once a cheater always a cheater...once a beater always a beater.

Yet Chris Brown attempts to bring up steroids in professional wrestling and accuse a guy whose straight edge for drug abuse even though his body definition is a clear indication he probably hasn't even seen a bottle of steroids in his life, and you're accusing Punk of being childish.

Chris Brown is the same guy that told people to fuck themselves because he won a Grammy.

You to realise that Brown is a notorious child. He plays a heel in real life, bit like you but you know, he doesn't do it on a wrestling forum, he does it to a decent degree, well, and people actually care about his antics. There is no point in you attempting to justify one man being childish in this, either both are acting immature or neither are. And even if they are it's funny to watch, so pull your ass from the high horse and stop being such a boring person for Christ sake. That's some life advice too, not just in-terms of discussing professional wrestling.

Slightly OT and this is going to sound harsh but oh well. As a guy if I was her I wouldn't talk to CB again. The whole everyone deserves a second chance thing is so wrong especially when it comes to things like this. It's the main reason why things like domestic abuse continually happen. She came out on the good side of it looking like an angel when it was all said and done and rightfully so, but she's no better than he is IMHO to fall for this again. She might like some abuse, you never know because believe it or not people like that are out there. I'm sorry if I offended anyone and if this ends up well I'll be the first to say I was wrong, but I always have a bad feeling about celebs "patching things up" so to speak.

Chris Brown beat a WOMAN! I REPEAT A WOMAN. Then he went on some talk so and crashed the locker room because they asked him questions about it on an interview. Jay Z and Miranda Lambert both have called out Chris Brown in the past, yet somehow you want me to think CM Punk is wrong in this?

The entire thing feels like a lame publicity stunt. WWE is hyping up their twitter war on Smackdown. :disappointed:

Punk didn't throw the hissy fit Chris Brown did. Does Punk in that video sound like he yelling, screaming, and crying nope. He's as calm as cool dry night in the desert. If anything it was Chris w/ his so called reterneress comment after Punk said the 1st post. Does Chris Brown really think Punk does Roids, yeah. His reasoning all pro athletes do it. Albert Pujols in the MLB is prime example of how great u can be w/o them or a Kobe Bryant in the NBA as well as CM Punk in Wrestling. I hope the WWE make's it happen and have Chris be the Bully while Punk kick his A$$. Yes Chris can sing but the dude behind the voice is a dumba$$.

Chris' comments dont change the fact that Punk is acting like a child hungry for attention.

Chris Brown is the same guy that told people to fuck themselves because he won a Grammy.
He told people to fuck themselves because for some odd reason people who dont know him at all think its ok to judge him on something that happened three years ago. Hmm, lets think about this, would you like people to dwell on a mistake you made three years ago?
You to realise that Brown is a notorious child. He plays a heel in real life, bit like you but you know, he doesn't do it on a wrestling forum, he does it to a decent degree, well, and people actually care about his antics.
Yup, I play the heel but you're the one trying to change this discussion into a personal attack. Do you realize that theres no such thing as heel and face in real life? That people are just treated the way the majority wants to judge them? CB hit a girl, so now hes the equivalent of a wife beater, a term usually reserved for a man who lets his family live in fear after continously beating his wife in front of his children while threatening her. This beahvior goes on for years, with both parties hating eachother. It doesnt go on for a couple of minutes and ends in the two chilling at a birthday party.
so pull your ass from the high horse and stop being such a boring person for Christ sake. That's some life advice too, not just in-terms of discussing professional wrestling.
[/QUOTE]
Thank you for giving me life advice person who does not know me at all. Then you wonder why us "heels" (I still cant believe you used the term in reference to a real life situation) tell you to fuck off every time we win something thanks to thinking outside the box and no trying to please the majority.

Some of you just use ******ed logic. If anyone who hits a woman deserves to be treated like dirt by the rest of the world then none of you should think so highly of Stone Cold.

You all do realize this is all a work by Punk,Brown and WWE right? I mean what a coincidence they do all this 'arguing" right around time for Mania huh? They're all playing you like fiddles.

You're obviously a supporter or once was a supporter of Chris whatever his name is. Everyone always pulls jokes about Chris beating a women. Punk just had the balls to do it publicly. Chris' ignorant retaliation completely shows he is just full of himself. Being Str8 Edge and told you do drugs or drink is like hitting below the belt.

I'l start by saying I don't have twitter so I'm not entirely up to speed but in my opinion although I agree with Punk and think Chris Brown is a massive idiot, beating a woman is completely inexcusable obviously and agree that Rihanna shouldn't have anything to do with him. Punk should probably leave them be, at the end of the day its their business and unless he has some sort of unknown close personal relationship with either of them he really shouldn't be interfering and telling them how to live their lives. If she wants to take him back it her choice.

To the Original Poster. It is obvious YOU HAVE NEVER BEEN IN AN ABUSIVE RELATIONSHIP. Let me speak as one who endured one. A person who resorts to violence over something simple has deep issues that picking up trash on the side of the road doesn't solve.

You make excuses and you miss the point. CM Punk called out CB because he didn't make ammends. He didn't use his mistake as a point of helping other young men who don't know how to make good decisions. He did some lame ass community service and then its like people are suppose to sweep it under the rug.

I was in an abusive relationship and those traits are deep seated. CM Punk was right for calling him out. And Yes. You should have it held over your head UNTIL you make ammends and really show that you have changed. CB had several douche bag moments after the incident. And his Double Negative #NotNopunks also indicates he should have spent more time in english class and less on twitter.

It isn't a work because WWE wouldn't really have him talking about domestic battery as an angle for wrestling in this case.

"For those of you who think thats ok, I hope to God someone uses something bad that happened to you 3 years ago against you for the rest of your lives, then maybe you'd understand what its like to be in Chris' shoes."

Firstly, that is a horrible thing to wish on anyone. You aren't exactly going to win anyone over to your view when you say crap like this.

You shouldn't be using the passive form here, it is not something that happened to Chris Brown. He hit a woman, that was a choice he made it was not something that happened to him. However I have no problem forgiving someone and I believe he was remorseful. Although I wouldn't be surprized if both sides were encouraged to cause trouble, it is publicity. I know Punk claims to not be about publicity and all that but I simply don't believe him. His character is pretty much designed to cause controversy and right now he is being very successful at that. I honestly hadn't heard Chris Brown's name mentioned since the domestic violence lawsuit so the publicity seems to be working for him as well.

If CM Punk worried half as much about his career right now, maybe I'd actually care about seeing him and Jericho at WrestleMania. Instead, he's in a twitter battle with some asshole who has nothing to do with the wrestling business. Punk is 100% right in the things he is saying...it's just completely out of the blue and unwarrented.

3 years...4 years... who cares. Punk stated what he felt. Brown reacted out of sheer anger. Punk set his ass straight.

its always fun until someone gets hurt...

(Anaconda Vice locks in)

Well that statement there at the end could be said about any mistake someone makes in life. But as far as I remember, the whole thing started because it was reported that she gave Brown an STD. But who cares, surely that's old news and there both rich for generations.

TROLL ALERT, TROLL ALERT lol let the little troll play and stop feeding him.

chris brown hit a woman, he beat them you might say... makes him a beater of women by definition does it not?

i will leave on one point (other than the fact i dont care about Chris Brown in the slightest, he will always be talentless in my eyes)

my point being to the troll original poster. if you are want to have an opinion on something you need to accept that others will disagree with you.

and until you have suffered at the hand of domestic violence or are directly involved in the CB + Rihanna situation, you cannot present any knowledge or fact regarding it and your point is basically completely invalid and opinion, so get over yourself.

also to give my view

1. Chris Brown is a disgrace and should be humiliated for what he has done to highlight men who are scum and beat women for small pety reasons or at all

2. Rihanna is setting a horrid example by allowing him to regain trust, however when it happens again people will hopefully learn that "wife beaters" will repeat offend after worming their way back in

3. Chris Brown IS a wife beater, the OP has no idea of the definition of the term, most likely due to a lack of education they class as an education. that or a general level of ignorance.

4. I am now just as guilty as everyone else of feeding the troll but i had fun ranting.

5 times 5 times 5 times 5 times 5 times !! sorry, there is no 5, just like this wont be a WM event EVER as all it does is make a mockery of Domestic Abuse by turning it into the "entertainment" section of WWE whilst it is a real life situation.

Oh, and more thing, forgiving him is basically justifying his behavior. Had that been a normal man he would have been shunned, but because he's famous the bastard can get away with it. We all know Chris won't fight Punk though, Punk isn't a defenseless woman.

So to the OP you are defending this piece of shit? Your defending a low life piece of trash who gets off hitting women? If you really think playing a Heel on these Forums is so great then as someone said earlier GET A F*CKIN LIFE.

CM Punk owned that douchebag and righfully so. Chris Brown is just another overrated Music "Artist" who couldn't fight his way out of a paper bag.

hitting a woman isn't something like leaving the lights or the burner on. its hitting someone who's defenseless. not the same thing. mot a mistake.

Punk, like many many others, made their comments following the Grammy's. Chris Brown responded to 2 people ( that I know of) Miranda Lambert and CM Punk. In both responses Chris Brown looks horribly stupid. When reffering to Lambert he made a comment about how "At least he has a grammy" insinuating Miranda doesn't. Funny though she does and I believe won her's first. Then he made the steroid comment to Punk. Which you don't even have to know he is straight edge to know just by looking at him he doesn't juice. When you juice, from my research on the topic, you go one of 3 directions pending on your workout routine or in 1 case lack there of. You either get huge from a power lifting routine, incredibly cut or if just juice and not lift you get bloated. Punk is none of those 3.

childish on cm punk's part? are you on the same planet as the rest of us?? umm so basically what you are saying it is okay to beat up women but just make sure you Apologize and it will be okay. Does a leopard change its spots? your column on this and your response is lame.

If I had to guess, I would say this is all a setup to draw attention to the WWE as we approach Wrestlemania. I wouldn't think WWE.com would be reporting so heavily on this if this was an honest argument between the two. Case in point: this whole story about the anonymous WWE wrestler's text about the Rock, which fits in nicely with the whole angle they're trying to use to promote the Rock-Cena matchup at Wrestlemania, is not being reported anywhere on WWE.com.

I agree, why isn't Punk criticizing Austin? He is a woman beater too. If Punk was not just targeting one person I would respect what he is saying a lot more.
