Classic 80s-90s movies I got for Christmas.

I'm about to watch Heat now, it was on the list, but I didn't get it in the mail yet, but I found a way to watch it.

alot of good flicks in ur list. but goddamn. Se7en is far and away the best. do urself a favor and watch it immediately. if ur a advid movie watcher, how have u not seen it?!?

I lied, I'm playing GTA 4: The Lost and Damned, and it got me in the mood to watch Beyond the Law.

I gotta say, I saw the ending a mile away.

Around the first two deaths and the introduction of his wife, I just had a feeling she was going to end up getting killed.

Whenever they were talking in the car, that pretty much confirmed it was going to be his wife. Wasn't sure how it was going to happen, but I knew his wife was gonna get killed.

Great movie though, great selection of actors as well. Kevin Spacey was perfect for the part too, he always seems to be a good pick for those sadist types of characters.

His apperance is a legit surprise. He wasn't on the original cast list at the start of the film nor was he involved in the film's promotion.

That's what makes it such a good movies too. Seems like something the WWE would do..sneaking a guy into the arena for a surprise entrant in the royal rumble.

I also have Midnight Run, Casino, and Backdraft. I couldn't watch those because they were bought in the high defination format. It took me 2 hours trying to figure out why my laptop wouldn't play Casino. So I tried a different one, Midnight Run. Oddly enough, that one didn't work either. I thought my laptop was dieing on me...even though I got it this christmas.

After trying both DVDs on my playstation, I put The Ref, which I already saw..into the laptop. Worked fine. My Dad thought maybe they were in different regions, you know..Region 1, Region 2? Well I have all the DVDs I got in a big DVD case I also got for Christmas, so I hunted down the boxes I have stored where all my PS3 games and such are at, and I got out both Midnight Run..and Casino.

I looked around looking for a region..nowhere. After trying them a few more times...I realized something between those DVDs that was different then the other...their box was red. I looked at all the other boxes, an I found one more red box, Backdraft. Tried it in the laptop..didn't work. So I saw on the box it was high definition, and I figured that's why my computer, and my Blue Ray playstation refused to play it. Although I do have a toshiba computer, so it should work. Then again, High Definition DVDs are pretty much extinct. Not sure why they'd sell em to me.

Well I managed to watch Midnight Run and Casino online, but I haven't watched Backdraft yet.

Natural Born Killers is creepy, awesome, confusing, and funny at the same time. It's one of the best ones I've seen.

I have about 4 good ones left out of the original ones, but lucky me..being that it's my birthday next week, I just got a whole new batch.

The 4 ones left are 8mm, Tango & Cash, Pacific Heights, and The color of money. Oh and The Doors, so 5 left.

The ones I just got are:

Broken Arrow (I'm about to watch it right now, just because Slater is in it)
Kalifornia (That's next, because Brad Pitt and Juliette Lewis is in it..and Juliette Lewis get's me hot)
Misery (That's next, mostly because I love Stephen King..he's gotta be my favorite author of all the times)

Then in no specific order:

Greedy
The Usual Suspects
First Blood
The Outsiders
The Fan (I've seen it on tv, but it's worth having a copy)
White Sand
Action Thriller
Hide and Seek (which is not an 80s movie, but my dad and I were just talking about it, so I suppose he threw it in there. It is a good movie too...anything with De Niro is good.

True Romance is a great flick by Tarantino. Lots of big names. Christian Slater, Patricia Arquette, Dennis Hopper, Val Kilmer, Brad Pitt, Dennis Hopper, Christopher Walken, Samuel L Jackson, Chris Penn, Tom Sizemore, and James Gandolfini just to name a few! Hilarious and very violent.

Well...I just got another batch of DvDs in the mail.

Let's see I got Pulp Fiction (I've seen it, but it's nice to have a copy) Revenge of the Nerds (panty raid edition) Kingpin, My cousin Vinny, and Under pressure.

Just watched the movie Con Air. Thought was fantastic, it's right up there with Natural Born Killers. I've also gotten more movies since my last post, but I've mixed them up with the other ones and I can't tell which ones I told you and which ones I haven't. And I've obviously watched more too. A lot more.

I think Pacific Heights is next.
