I have an idea. What about inducting Benoit into the Hall, but not televising it?? The WWE has inducted many Stars into the Hall of Fame before it became an annual night before WM event and even after they started this WM weekend tradition, they still didn’t televise the whole thing. To keep it away from the media, but to pacify the Benoit fans, they could do it this way and not advertise him at all. Then on the DVD, they could cut it from the main feature and have it as an extra.

You're damn right i'd put Benoit in the HOF! In a heartbeat. Benoit was one of, if not the greatest technical wrestler to ever perform in a ring. Yeah, it's fucked up what he did, but that was personal life, not wrestling. Benoit had the most amazing drive, he had the ability to make ANYONE look good, his moves had depth, he'd put on a 5 star match whether he was in front of 100 or 100,000. Everytime I heard his music I paid attention because I knew I was in for a great match, no matter if he was fight Kurt Angle, Triple H, Big Show, anybody. He literally had that kind of talent. There's never gonna be another Benoit, never ever ever. I'd take a Chris Benoit over a Bret Hart any day of the week.

I think he should be inducted into the HOF but the induction should not be televised, put it on DVD or the internet because this really does go either way. For some, people want to remember him for his wrestling abilities, however his actions in the end... well... I don't even want to talk about it. Sorry.

ive said this before and i will say it again !!! Chris Benoit and oh my god!!!, even just typing his name gives me a great deal of stress and discust but this has to be said. As a wrestler he was by far, one of the most one of the hardest wrestlers ever seen in the wwe. He gave his all in all of his matches and put his body on the line each and every night. I was a major fan of his but potting him in the hall of fame wont ever happen. What he did to his family destroyed any right he had of being inducted and rightly so. Sure there are a lot of wrestlers who have had a drug addiction, been arrested or brought bad press to the wwe but murder is by far the worst thing anyone could have done. the pure fact it was other members of his family, his wife and young child before taking his own gutless life was absolutley the last straw and ruined an otherwise impressive career. Inducting a murderer opens the floodgates for other sick and disturbed wrestlers to basically be forgiven and inducted into what can only be for the heros of the business. The people who fill seats each and every night, sell the business to the world, make fans watch the ppv's and buy the products. I say no to Benoit being inducted. Would you build a statue of hitler in London or bin laden in New york? The answer is no and this is no differant

Chris Benoit was one of the best, and maybe even the best technical wrestler to ever step foot in the ring. But what he did to his family was absolutely appalling and just disgusting. Absolutely no way he goes in the HOF, I don't think the WWE wants to relive that tragedy.
