  • Brock Lesnar

Lesnar is horrible in the ring and extremely boring. Every single match, he does 13 suplexes and a few F5s. Since that SummerSlam 2014 match, Cena has vastly expanded his moveset, adding moves such as the Huricanrana and Sunset Flip Powerbomb.

Besides, Cena has stayed around and worked his tail off for the last 11 years. Lesnar had a horrible match with Goldberg and bolted for a failed NFL career.

Go with Cena because he's simply a better wrestler.

Lesnar can do A LOT more in the ring than he shows today.

He's shown repeatedly in the past that he can do A LOT more in the ring than he shows today.

Lesnar's Suplex City gimmick is pretty simple. Go into the ring. Suplex the shit out of the other guy. Win. Leave.

He's playing a gimmick.

If the two-time NJCAA All-American, the 1998 NJCAA Heavyweight Champion, two-time NCAA All-American, two-time Big Ten Conference Champion and the 2000 NCAA Heavyweight Champion changed his gimmick to be 'technical wrestling machine'... then you would see and believe that he was a technical wrestling machine.

Exactly. Lesnar's entire 2012 run and beyond is what could have been.

What if he actually tried to get a good match out of Orton and Ambrose?

They could have EASILY tore the house down, but no it's just 2 more uninteresting squashes.

Then he can't even go more than 5 minutes in either of his 2 matches with Goldberg.

Meanwhile Cena is having the MOTY with AJ Styles. Vote for Cena.

Exactly?!?

I can tell you don't LIKE the gimmick... but I also don't think you GET the gimmick?

And I don't think it was that he CAN'T go more than 5 minutes with Goldberg. And even if that was the argument, in the 2nd one, he beat Goldberg clean. The argument would be that Goldberg couldn't last more than 5 minutes with Lesnar!

Also, if your going to use that argument, then I think in fairness, you'd have to also take into account all of the actual match history between Lesnar and Cena. You know, the history where Lesnar OWNS Cena!

Unless of course he does a shooting star press...

Let's not forget, as ufc champion and contender.. He did a lot a more than Suplex's to win.

History says that a no-DQ stip was Cena's only shot. Cena has only been able to pin or submit Lesnar in an Extreme Rules match. When they have met in normal matches Brock has always scored the victory; multiple times, title and non-title, as early as 2002, as recently as 2014. Brock owns Cena in this environment, this is his match to win.
