Cena on the Cutting Edge Tonite...NOT A SPOILER!

Edge will also host a live edition of The Cutting Edge. The Rated-R Superstar will welcome none other than WWE Champion John Cena as his special guest.

Copied directly from Wrestlezone. So...am I the only one that smells a cena heel turn? Possibly the same way Rated RKO was formed? What are everyone's thoughts? I personally see Edge convincing Cena that HBK was out for himself all along, that he's jealous of Cena, and that together, they can finish what RKO started, and completely take out DX.

That sounds a good theory, however I can't see it happening so soon. I reckon it will come to some sort of build up with Orton and HBK match on Raw as well. Don't know how this will unfold...plus shane's backstage and also Foley's announcemnet, looks like a load of promos =(

But yeah sounds like a good theory, though we'll see how it pans out

At this point, I'm pretty sure Cena won't turn until after he drops the belt. I firmly feel that if Cena turns heel with the belt, he will hold onto it for another few months. As a guy that has just recently gotten back into the WWE product, I'm not so sure I can handle that.

No, I think its a way to get Edge into the title picture. Four way at the next PPV? HBK vs Orton vs Edge vs Cena. WHens the last time they did a fatal four way for the title? May as well.

Cena is face for the same reason he is champion: Kids buy his stuff. They have to keep him the good guy or else he won't pull in as much money.

see, this is where this whole "Cena heel turn argument" gets debated so much. Cena as a heel will sell more merch. And possibly appeal to a broader fan base. Look at Edge, his shirts and other merchandise sell quite well, and he is a heel. A heel turn for the old "Prototype" may not be a bad idea, well, that and some better catch phrases. As far as Raw tonite, I think it will be very interesting to see where it leads.
