Just on that scene on the boardwalk. You watch the trailer and it leaves hope that she does have a couple of nude scenes in other places.

I don't know...If she was doing nude scenes, and there's a redband trailer, you would've seen some nipple, or even a glimpse of her ass.

Yeah it usually takes young actresses a few years until they're willing to take their clothes off. You have NO IDEA how long I waited for Natalie Portman to show some skin.

I think it's just that pasties scene or whatever, so maybe it is technically a nude scene but she herself isn't technically nude.

Well way to ruin my optimism, fuckers.

:icon_razz:

And X, I remember creating a "Favorite Nudes Scenes" thread in the Movies Section while you were gone. Didn't get as many replies as I thought it would. But anyway, what's you all time favorite nude scene in film, man? No hardcore porno stuff, lol. In a real movie.

Natalie Portman is a fucking goddess. I loved Closer, even without her semi-nude. It didn't hurt though. I want to see that new movie she's in, where you actually see her ass, and supposedly some side boob.

Sex sells. I'm buying.

People didn't post that much because Will and I just verbally raped the Bar Room. There was enough talk of sex and titties flowing around. I posted...I'll post again if it gets bumped...

I think you were the first reply, lol. But yeah... I created it because at the time there was nothing but porn talk in the Bar Room. And since I don't really watch porn, I thought that could be a way to appreciate the female (or male for the ladies & gay guys here) form and bring up some interesting conversation.

It was oversaturation really...Kind of sad. Sorry :(

I'll reply to almost any thread in the Movies section...There just hasn't been many good ones. I'd like to start my own review thread, but I don't want the mods to get upset over too many of them in there...

I'll go post in that thread right now man, gimme a minute to find it.

I loved Closer. Proof that Mike Nichols still has it after all these years. That movie captures all of the hurt and pain that cheating brings on people, a really gripping movie from start to finish.

Portman's stripper scene man...the definition of hot.

Go look up Wes Anderson's short film "Hotel Chevalier", I think that's what you're talking about. It shows Portman's ass and I think some side boob as well. It's a companion piece to The Darjeeling Limited.

Hey JMT (or anyone really), what's your opinion on Wes Anderson?

This may be surprising coming from me...But let's not kill this thread with porn and titties...

To get back on track...Is anyone looking forward to Toy Story 3, besides me?

I was kidding...and referencing Southland Tales.

Even when dealing with porn I make movie references.

It was definitely a good representation of that. Clive Owen's and Julia Robert's argument when she cheated on the couch, and he cheated on the trip, was word for word, an exact argument I had with my ex.

"How does he taste!?"

"Like you...But sweeter!"

"That's the spirit. Now fuck off and die you cunt."

I was like :icon_eek:

Tell me I'm not the only person that paused it, and walked around the TV, looking for an angle where you can see her crotch...

I saw Darjeeling Limited, and own it, but never watched the short, thinking it wouldn't be worth it. I will be watching it tonight...

I don't know Anderson by name. What's he done?

He's fucking awesome. I absolutely LOVED Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums, Bottle Rocket, and The Darjeeling Limited. I have yet to see The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou and I have no idea why. But yeah... those 4 films I mentioned are all fantastic, especially Rushmore. Plus, Wes Anderson sure does know how to use music in his films. The guy is a fucking genius and that's all there is to it.

I have yet to see Rushmore :(

I've seen bits and pieces of Royal Tenenbaums, but not in it's entirety, and not all the way through. I liked Darjeeling Limited though, so I guess it's time to give RT a proper viewing, and to finally find Rushmore...

Yeah, loved Tenenbaums. The suicide attempt scene is awesome.

I've been meaning to see Life Aquatic. Then again I've been meaning to see a lot of movies.

Wes Anderson is definately in my top five directors of all time (American atleast), probably 3rd behind David Lynch and Martin Scorsese.

Anderson has directed the following movies....Bottle Rocket (I know I say this alot, but literally one of my top ten movies EVER and also one of Martin Scorsese's favorite films), Rushmore, The Royal Tenenbaums (another one of my top ten), The Life Aquatic With Steve Zissou, and the Darjeeling Limited. Right now he's working on a stop-motion adaptation of The Fantastic Mr. Fox, which should be amazing. Alot of people don't realize it, but Owen Wilson helped write the first three of those movies I just mentioned. Wilson gets alot of shit for his acting, but he can write his fucking ass off.

Anderson, alot like Scorsese, has this ability to just PERFECTLY match up music with images, his choice of music in his films is impeccable. At the end of Bottle Rocket, the way he uses the Rolling Stones "2000 Man", might just be my favorite scene in a movie ever (well that or the opening credit sequence of Reservoir Dogs)

Seriously, watch every one of his films, ESPECIALLY his first one Bottle Rocket. I cannot express how fucking good that film is, and it's the only movie with Owen Wilson I've ever seen where I thought to myself..."Holy shit Owen Wilson is a pretty damn good actor!"

See the Life Aquatic ASAP JMT, I just know you will absolutely love it to death. Seriously, every single film that Anderson has made is perfect in my eyes, can you tell I love the guy?

X, of course I've seen Broken Flowers! In my opinion, that Murray's second greatest performance to date behind Lost in Translation.

And yeah... that young chick was incredibly sexy and came out of nowhere in that scene. Definitely hot.

And X, have you ever seen Private School by any chance?

I don't think they should have included it...

BUT

I didn't think it was stupid. I don't think the guy was in the room when they rest of the crew got toasted. That probably happened to him over time. They even hinted to it with the psychologist and the captain.

We need more disagreements and debates.

X, disagree with my assessment of Sunshine's twist.

I had a movie in mind to ask about...And, completely forgot what it was. I feel like an idiot...

All right JMT (and everyone else)...do you remember the flick Little Monsters?

Was just thinking about it. Probably the greatest kids movie ever made, and quite frankly it is dark as fuck for a children's movie. I cannot explain how much I love that movie, and I watch the DVD of it literally every few monthes. Fred Savage and Howie Mandel are the shit in that movie. I love the ending when they come back up to the real world again and the Talking Heads "Road to Nowhere" starts playing...fucking perfect. The flick also had Daniel Stern (the voice of the Wonder Years) and even Fred Savage's little brother Ben (best known for being the main character on Boy Meets World). Plus it has a fucking Hulk Hogan cameo!

Someone for the love of god tell me they love this movie as much as I do...

Oh, and it involves Frank Whaley's face being melted off.

Don't think I ever saw it...I didn't watch a lot of horror movies until I was 13-14 years old, and then started with movies like Halloween.

Have you ever seen The Cube, or any of it's sequels?

Little Monsters isn't a horror film, just a really dark kid's movie. It's definately a kids movie though, but the greatest ever made. Yep, thats right, it's better than Labyrinth (though we all know how fucking awesome Labyrinth is)

Yeah I've seen Cube a few times. Pretty good movie but the ending was just one of the worst I've ever seen. Haven't seen any of the sequels though they're always playing on TV. Any good?

Sadly, I've never seen The Labyrinth either...:(

I didn't mind the ending to one. It was a little out of nowhere, but what could you expect from how they built towards it?

Hypercube isn't as good, but it still fits the cheesy horror/sci-fi genre. It has some decent nudity, if it makes a difference. The characters are a little better, acting is the same (to say it's probably shit), but it's a different cube.

3 is pretty bad, but it's a must if you just have to know the back story behind the cube, how it works, and how people are selected. The ending leaves it open for another one, but I hope they don't. They need to leave well enough alone here...

Anyone here seen Maximum Overdrive?

I saw it once years ago, at like 4a on TNT...Haven't found it anywhere since, and it hasn't been on TV...

I think I've randomly ran into that once or twice at a video store, but never got around to renting it.

However, I was just watching a great comedy the other night, something like Vegas Bachelor Party, starring Kal Penn. Anyone else experience this gem yet?
