That's Pursuit Of Happyness. Eternal Sunshine starred Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, but also featured Kirsten Dunst, Mark Ruffalo, Elijah Wood, Tom Wilkinson, and David Cross...

Eternal Sunshine is another one of my favorites. I'm a huge Charlie Kaufman fan. In my book Eternal Sunshine is the greatest love story every told on film, everything about that film is beautiful and stunning. Five stars, all the fucking way.

That movie sold me on Carrey forever, he can do no wrong in my book after that. He's extremely talented as a dramatic actor. Gaaah, I freakin' love that movie.

Did you like The Number 23, X? I never got around to watching it, just wondering if it's worth the time.

And I have a love-hate relationship with Jim Carrey. While he can make masterpieces like Eternal Sunshine and The Truman Show, man he can also be in some giant pieces of shit. Fun with Dick and Jane is one of the worst comedies I've ever seen, for example.

I'd probably recommend you avoid The Number 23. It has a good premise, and there are bits and parts where you think it's going to elevate itself to a really good movie, but there are just too many holes in it and the ending is pretty lame. I don't know, if you have time to kill and don't have to actually buy the movie or something I'd say give it a shot. It's certainly not the worst film Carrey has done, and it's fun to see him covered in tattoos acting like a badass. Not great though.

You can't really hate on Carrey for doing the family-friendly comedies like Fun With Dick and Jane though man, countless great actors take part in awful crap like that. I mean have you seen some of the comedies that Robert De Niro has agreed to take part in over the last decade? Did you see Showtime? Good god that almost made me lose faith in De Niro forever.

The thing is though, I still love Liar Liar to this day, so Carrey doing family comedies doesn't bother me. It's the fact that he does bad ones, now. Yes Man sucked, too.

And Robert De Niro hasn't done anything worth a damn since Jackie Brown (though Men of Honor and the Meet the Parents movies were okay), so I don't have high expectations whenever I see a film of his. And his early work more than makes up for the shit he's done these past 15 years or so.

I'm a huge Jim Carrey fan...He's probably my favorite actor. But, I wouldn't recommend this is to too many people. The story is good, but the ending is just kind of there...It doesn't seem right. It'll also have you thinking of that god damn number for hours on end...

I'm currently watching My Cousin Vinny on TBS. I think it's a great movie, and I fell in love with Ms. Tomei watching this, but Pesci's voice drives me nuts. I don't know why I suffer through it so much...

XFear...I have to ask...

Feast gets a better rating than Transformers 2? I haven't seen it yet, but I figured it'd be better than that...

Which should have a better rating? Feast or Transformers 2?

You didn't like Feast? I loved it, thought it was great, great fun and very clever.

I did too...But I would have thought that Transformers 2 would be rated higher. I haven't seen it yet though...

My Cousin Vinny is one of my all time favorite comedies.

And I love Pesci's voice. The dude cracks me up.

So I see you too enjoyed TF2 JMT, glad to see that. It wasn't as good as the first, and to be honest it's really just mindless trash, but on face value alone it's extremely entertaining. I was never bored once during the nearly 2 and a half hour runtime, which is more then I can say about most films.

But I still liked Feast more NSL. Feast is a modern midnight movie classic.

I watched a movie called Driven today. It was pretty terrible. Only watched it because of Kip Pardue and Sylvester Stallone. There was some cool shit in it (plus Estella Warren, who is EXTREMELY hot), but overall... blah.

Speaking of Kip Pardue though, just wondering if anyone has seen Loggerheads? I thought it was really, really, really good. I wish Kip would get more roles...
