Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg: Do They Deserve HOF Recognition?

At first he was crap on the mic, but as time went by he became much better. I think his fued with Kurt Angle really helped him on the stick. And to answer the question, yes I think he deserves a HOF spot no doubt because of the impact he made in that hort period of time, which is impressive.
Of course they do. Goldberg's WCW run was enough for him to be in the HoF in my opinion. And his WWE run just adds more. He never bashed the WWE or went to another company when he left. I even remember him signing some sort of legend's of contract about a year ago.

Now Brock's WWE career was short. But he became a main eventer after just a few months of being there. Brock was known as "The Next Big Thing". He was a great wrestler. He was crap on the mic in my opinion. But he was still very over with the crowd by the time of Wrestlemania 19. Brock was a former WWE champion. And in WWE's mind. That's enough for someone to be inducted into the HoF.

But these two never had any chemistry in their Wrestlemania 20 match. They were both very talented big men. But they didn't have any chemistry. And that's why their match was one of the worst matches in Wrestlemania history.

Goldberg? Not no but HELL no. He was too dangerous. How many people did he hurt? I'm not a big Bret fan but the fact that Goldberg didn't know how to control himself in the ring is the very reason Bret had to retire early.

I think they both do.

Look at Goldberg's accomplishments and the fan reaction towards him and you know why. Yes he injured people, but WCW felt strongly enough about him to give him a 173 win streak which is just ridiculous and when he came to WWE they let him go over their top stars. He's a multiple time world champion and the fans went off every time they saw him.

Lesnar was just everything a monster wrestler should be, and he was amazing at what he did. He was brutal, to say the least and tore apart everyone. Within a year he was main eventing world title matches with the Undertaker and certainly holding his own, how many people can say that? Considering some of the other wrestlers that have been put in...and drew carey, he certainly deserves it. Whether he agrees is something else entirely

I think Goldberg is more deserving than Brock, but im not sure either of them will enter the hall of fame without any further involvement with the WWE.
I'm almost sure Goldberg will wrestle again after the thread seen on him today, but only if it is in WWE will he enter the hall of fame.
Brock Lesnar, not so sure about him, he has success in MMA and I don't think he will return unless he is given alot of freedom.

I say certainly to both Brock Lesnar and Bill Goldberg; they have both done alot for Wrestling. Wasnt Brock the youngest WWE champion at the time? And Goldbergs streak was what 173 wins?

Goldberg has done a tremendious amount for wrestling when he was in WCW. Based on that alone, I say he deserves a spot. WWE however, him vs Rock was just OK and then his obvious last match with Brock I would say No Way.

I think him and Brock went out on a bad note but other than that deserve a spot in the Hall of Fame.

Imo, Goldberg is a shoo-in one day. The only thing that concerns me with that is that it there were rumors he was going in this past year in Atlanta which would have made since with most of his success being in WCW. His year run in WWE wasn't terrible and we did see a number of dream matches with him, but it just wasn't quite the same. In the late 90s, Goldberg was as at or near the level of Austin which is obviously saying something. He wasn't the greatest wrestler in the world, but he came in at the right time and became a phenomenon in just a few months and had the incredible unbeaten streak. For his major contributions to the height of pro wrestling during the Monday Night Wars alone he deserves the honor and I think will one day be inducted.

Lesnar I'm not sure about. If we look at his body of work, especially in such a small amount of time then he might well deserve it. He became the face of the WWE in the transition period between the Austin and Cena eras. Lesnar had some excellent matches as well during his career with Rock, Taker, Angle, etc. Multiple championships, a KOTR win, and a Royal Rumble win tell me that yea, he should be in. The problem is that is was so short and the way he left. So I'm not sure if he will, but if he has some continued success in the UFC I could see Vince wanting him in just to get some publicity.
