A month or so ago, maybe longer, there were stories on various sites, including WZ, stating that Batista was negotiating with WWE for a potential return. Batista was cast as Drax the Destroyer in the Guardians of the Galaxy movie. I've seen pics of Batista in make up and I haven't seen one single actor whose ever played in a comic book inspired film that looks as much like the actual character as Batista does. It's a big budget flick that's due to be out August 1, 2014 so it's possible Batista could show up in WWE as part of an angle.

There have been a few who looked more like the character they were playing then the comic character. Wesley Snipes as Blade immediately springs to mind as the most perfect of all casting choices for a comic character. Robert Downey JR as Tony Stark/Iron Man. These are likely the best two ever for matching their characters looks and personalities. Others have been good, but no one is as good as these two. Except Patrick Stewart as Professor Xavier.

Personally, I don't understand the making of a Guardian of the Galaxy movie. It's like the execs just decided to throw a dart at random pages pinned on a wall and it landed on them. They are not even C-level characters, they'd fit right in on Kathy Griffith's 'Life on the D-list' reality show. Before a couple of posts on denofgeek.com, i don't recall ever even hearing about them. I think I might have heard the name, but I couldn't have named or listed any members if you strapped a nuke to my groin.

If I had to choose someone, still living and healthy to have at least a couple of matches out of all the options out there . . . I honestly don't know of any one I'd really want to see back. Possibly Morrison and Benjamin as the two most gifted out there that have some name recognition.

I'd bring back DH Smith. He's got the pedigree, the in-ring skills, the look, youth, and potential. If you can find a way protect and slowly groom his entertainment skills, DH would be a valuable longterm asset to the WWE.

I'd hold off his return until Tyson Kidd is healthy to return. Have the Shield continue their dominant run as tag champions. One night (PPV or Raw), Hart Dynasty return unannounced and defeat the Shield for the straps. Create a longterm feud out of these two teams that will spark the tag division. With the history between the McMahons & Hart family, you can also branch the Hart Dynasty off into a feud with the rest of the Corporation. You can go with a Natalya/Stephanie match too. Plenty can come out of this.

After that feud, have them go over a few teams and then trade the belts back and forth in a feud with the Wyatt Family. Let the Wyatt Family come out of the feud with the belts. When this feud ends, I would start using both DH and Tyson in both singles and tag team matches. Let the both of them showcase their skills as individual wrestlers and build from there depending on roster need/crowd reaction at the time.

I agree but do it via Regal and turning on the Harts...

I've long said the key to making Harry Smith work is to get away from the Hart side of things and go more "old school British Bulldog" - the same kind of meanness that Dynamite had. Imagine the scenario where it looks as if the Hart's reunite, maybe even win the belts... Smith brings Regal in as the manager which Kidd doesn't like, cos he's not a Hart... Smith gets mad takes him out (after all he is more a Hart) but then Smith reveals all...

While he was out the WWE, the Hart's never really bothered with him but the one guy who was in contact was Regal, they met up in the UK and Regal showed him all the old places he and his dad used to wrestle and even went to see Dynamite!!! (Yes have this on camera!!) Dynamite filled him in on how the Hart's were the problem, not his dad and that they held Davey back and were to blame for his lack of a World title and why he's not in the Hall of Fame... Harry has since developed a pretty fearsome persona in Japan, so this all works... Regal uses the immortal line, you're lineage is not as a Hart but as a Bulldog and that sets up Smith for massive heel (but face inthe UK run...)

Have him go over Sheamus, perhaps team with Barrett and Neville in a new British Bulldogs and bring Paige in as his "bitch" (fits her darker persona but she is a Brit) and of course bring Bret in to counter Regal... once that's done Smith is established as a legit bad ass heel, out of the Hart shadow and extremely marketable in the UK as the darker version of his father... That he's even using Davey Boy Smith as his name now is the icing on the cake.

This shit really does write itself if they bothered to think...

The first name that came to mind immediately was John Morrison. It was such a shame that he never made it to the World Heavyweight Championship and also never defeated The Miz for the WWE Championship during their feud. Had it not been for Melina then I'm sure he would have finally made it to a world title by now. I'd bring him back to eventually win the World Heavyweight Championship then steal the show with retentions against Christian, Alberto Del Rio, Dolph Ziggler, CM Punk, Daniel Bryan, and more! It would be nothing short of amazing. I would love to see that happen.

I would also want David Hart Smith to return so that the Hart Dynasty can get back together. The Hart Dynasty were such a good team and they got split up WAY too soon. Seeing them feud with The Shield or The Wyatt Family would be awesome. They would have a much better shot at winning the giant pennies from Rollins & Reigns than any of the current face teams. Tons of Funk are too silly and The Usos are fucking awful. With formal gocal teams such as Air Boom and "Team Hell No" no longer being in the division, The Hart Dynasty could be the focal point of the tag team division if they got brought back. Smith and Tyson could then also accompany Natalya to her matches during a push of her own. Tyson and Smith with the giant pennies while Natalya has the Divas Championship all holding up their belts together would be a very cool moment to see.

Bring back Shelton Benjamin. That guy has so much potential, it almost makes me feel physically sick how bad he was treated. The guy should have been in main events EASILY!
