Bret Hart, I love this guy

Jeff Hardy doesn't get that chance, because his title reigns are usually ended by Wellness Policy Violations, oops.

So you're the one that insinuated that Bret threw the belt away, when I replied with did Bret throw it in the trash can?

Bret and Alundra Blaze, not the same people. Bret was loyal, Alundra had a chip on her shoulder. Bret was nothing but loyal to the WWE for 12 years, plain and simple. He saw Vince as another father, so there was zero motivation for him to do that

And besides, didn't Vince want Flair to bring the WCW title to the WWF so he can show boat it on TV. Vince was afraid that what he did to the NwA/WCW was coming back to bite him in the ass. So again, Vince's fault, not bret.

Jeff Hardy is shit. Why is he getting a push, to try and take away from Jericho's return because the Kliq, ie Nash and Triple H, have a stick up their asses concerning Jericho and anything to ruin him they'll jump right on it. Hence, Hardy gets a push. It's all politics.

Alundra throwing the title in the trash was a huge blow to the WWE. It was humiliating. If I were Vince, I wouldn't trust that anyone on my roster would do the same thing.

Where do you get the idea that Bret saw Vince as a father? Can I see a link? Can I see some sources?

Jeff Hardy is getting a push LONG deserved. He's a very hard worker, he THROWS himself around the right. If the whole HHH/Jericho thing is true, HHH would have jobbed to Hardy or done something HUGE to damped Y2J's return. So now I'm just calling you out on your bullshit - you're just crapping on HHH because you don't like him.

Haha, Bret Hart isn't wrestling right now, so Jeff Hardy looks to be the next best thing.

Also, I can't see JH refusing to drop a title to whoever because he's having a tantrum.

uuuum what? I dont care how long Bret has been out, Jeff Hardy does not even come close to him in any way. Maybe selling, but thats all. Jeff Hardy is nothing close to being "the next best thing" to bret hart.

And you have no idea how Jeff Hardy might react to any given situation as far as dropping a belt. Maybe if someone had disrespected him the way shawn disrespected Bret, he would have trouble losing a belt to him in his own home area.

They are nowere near being comparable, and you cant say how Jeff would react in a title dropping situation, unless your are secretley jeff hardy posting on WZ forums, which I highly doubt.

Everyone we have a Jeff Hardy thread and first of all Norcal he wasn't comparing Hart to Hardy..

That is all.

I'm not comparing them, dude, take it easy.

I'm just pointing out that you guys are so passionate about Bret, as if he's going to return to the ring or something. I'm not comparing Hardy to Bret, I'm being sarcastic. I guess internet sarcasm doesn't work.

Haha, damning because the WWE tries to make it that way. The WWE Women's division was absolute shit and that belt got thrown exactly where it deserved to, the trash. If the WWE didn't have no talent hacks stinking that division up, maybe people would have respected that belt more.

Bret talks about in plenty of places, especially the DVD on how much he respected the McMahons and owed Vince alot.

And how is Team Triple H getting beat 5-2 and Him and Hardy over come the odds not pushing Hardy to the moon. You may call me on my bullshit, but Triple H is a politicking bastard that is pushing people that don't deserve it, simply to spite others.

Which tell one side of the story. Vince did the right thing. Bret screwed Bret. It's simple.

I wasnt talking about the whole situation. Mozzarella asked were it is stated that Bret felt Vince was a father figure. He says he felt that way in his book and DVD. I dont know how many sides of a story can exist if he is talking about himself seeing someone as a father figure.....

Well this thread started off with Bret Hart finally blaming Triple H for the screwjo, and it's spiraled downward from there, tat's why I started it in here. It's a spammy thread anyway with everyone busting each other's ball. I for one love screwjob conversations.

yea they are great lol. I feel as if WWE shouldve just let bret drop it to someone else, and had shawn beat that person for it on raw, or an In your house, or the rumble, or something. then they still couldve had their Shawn-Austin WM main event, and wouldnt have had to do this to Bret. Its not like Bret wouldve been the first guy in wrestling history to get some creative control, and if anyone ever deserved to say "not dropping to THAT guy in THIS place" it was Bret. All Bret ever talks about anywere, and all anyone has ever had to say about him, is that he is ethical, and respects the buisness. I fully belive he wouldnt have taken the belt to WCW.

I still need sources. Neither side of the story are exactly known for telling the truth. For all you know, Vince could have thought Bret was an annoying little bitch.

I find it hard to believe that Vince and Bret were "so close" yet Vince chose not to do anything with Bret and went ahead and TOLD him to go to WCW. I just find the whole thing fishy. Either way, Bret is a selfish baby.

Triple H is not to blame for the screwjob(believe it or not, he was not married to Steph until 2003, and Shawn was the "one" with the control back in 1997) and he sure as hell won't kill the WWE, Shane and Steph will have more say in the company than he ever will due to the fact that they have McMahon in their names.

About the Jeff Hardy ordeal, we anti-Cena fans have endured the John Cena era for 2 years, so Jeff Hardy is a walk in the park in comparison and doesn't even surprise me(I am NOT a fan of Jeff Hardy, but he is very popular, so it only makes sense in WWE's terms, and his push would have happened no matter what). Blaming Triple H for the Jeff Hardy push and making it into a conspiracy to take away Y2J's momentum is just sad, where have any of you seen reports that HHH is conspiring against Jericho? Is there a link to this? Stop making shit up, and the last time I checked Triple H and Shawn Michaels are trying to create a bright future for the WWE while Bret only knocks it down because of a 10 year old grudge that he is too stubborn to let go(I like Bret Hart and respect his in-ring ability, but the man takes things too personally).

Don't like Triple H pushing Jeff Hardy? At least he is doing something unlike Bret who could use his great talents to give advice and train future superstars for the WWE OR TNA, but he doesn't and that is what pisses me off. Vince is offering Bret some exposure for his book and DVD and he probably only asked for a 2 minute taped interview from Bret in return, it is not like we will ever see him step foot in a WWE ring again. Bret is in it for himself and the money, his passion for wrestling died 10 years ago and he doesn't give a shit what happens to the WWE or it's wrestlers IMO. He has been milking the Montreal Screwjob for everything it is worth for 10 years now, but the question is: Do we blame him? I think he has been carrying this grudge for too long, I could understand him being upset for a couple years, but Vince tried to make a mends and put this behind them, but Bret can't seem to let it go, and that in itself screwed the fans from a great wrestling legend wasting his talents on bitching and moaning.

In five years time, Bret will probably have written another book where he blames good ol' JR for the Montreal Screwjob lol. Sorry, but putting the blame on Triple H for every little bad thing that happens in the WWE is foolish and isn't going to solve anything, cut the guy some slack for fuck sake.

.....Im not even sure if we are talking about the same thing anymore....what more sources do you need for someone they feel a certain way about someone??? If I say I felt like my football coach in high school was a father figure to me, thats how I FELT about the person, there are no other sources to hear. Bret Hart felt Vince Mcmahon was a father figure to him, regardless of how Vince may have felt about him, or how close Vince wouldve felt to him. Bret really did love Vince and look at him as a father figure, as he has said, so it makes it extremely unlikely he wouldve taken the belt to WCW and trashed it.

Are you ignorant? I'm not asking for a side of the story, I'm asking for a source - where he said that, interviews, links, etc. I'm sick and tired of you marks screaming "HIS BOOK" or "HIS DVD" every time you guys just make up facts. Let's see some sources. For all you know, they hated each other back stage.

there's no need for name calling IMO because this screw job thing is fairly old. Besides who cares if Bret is a selfish baby, or who cares if he was treated unfairly. This little screw job happened like 10 years ago, and there isn't a thing we can do about, but take and listen to different sides of this story even though we can not change the past. honestly who cares what happened, its old, its done with, and there isn't a darn thing we can do about it, but argue over non sense.

That is all

Honestly, how much more proof do you need. You've had three people come on here and say in is book and DVD. If you don't believe us, watch the DVD or read the book. Sorry we're not quoting things line for line with an exact paragraph and page number or the exact hour, minute, second on which disc.

If you choose not to believe it, that's on you. Some people just want to stay blind to facts, or choose not to believe. I don't know how much more proof you need about something when it comes from the source.

What don't you understand about me not caring what Bret has to say on the matter? Really, how many WWE stars made up stories to make themselves look better? HHH, HBK, Ric Flair, hell, BRET HART. I want to see a confirmation from someone else who was THERE that Bret Hard and Vince were actually as close as Bret says they were.

Let me re-state my previous logic - it's unbelievable to me that Vince and Bret were SO CLOSE that, hmm... Vince was giving up Bret to WCW and making him give up the belt in his hometown.

Bret Hart screwed Bret Hart.
He didn't want to drop the belt to Shawn in Canada. Does he not realise he only had the belt becuase McMahon allowed it? And when Vince says it's time to drop the belt to someone else, you drop the belt.
He was going to go the the WCW and take the WWE belt with him and mock it. Shawn and Vince's passion for the WWE would not let that happen.

Well you're never gonna get that

. No one is gonna come here and will be able to confirm that.
