Bray Wyatt - What do you think?

It's a fantastic gimmick and Husky Harris is playing it shockingly well. He's capable in the ring, too, so I don't see any way it shouldn't be a success. The video promos are fascinating, his in ring promos are engaging, his music is awesome how he plays the character during matches is great, it's all good.

One thing however, I wonder if this gimmick might be too edgy for a PG WWE. I hope they don't neuter it or tone it down. Just transplant it to RAW, and it'll do well.

Loving Bray Wyatt so far.

Such a fantastic feel and energy to his promos so far. And they need to keep that feel going forward.

I also think there is huge potential to have him leading his own little group. Similar to the Straight Edge Society or The Flock. Especially as a way of keeping momentum if Wyatt is unable to compete in ring due to injury. And also creating the sense of Bray Wyatt being difficult to get at.

I am POWERFUL!!!!!

watched his match on NXT yesterday over here in the uk. DAMN this guy is gonna go far, the way he danced round the ring with his opponent was freaky and his finisher looked great.

The potential storylines they could use are endless but im sure i read on the main site the other day that he is out of action for 6 months due to tearing his pec?

if true they need to come up with an idea for this guy to keep him on tv and keep the momentum going with this guy, maybe bring in a few of his believers do his dirty work for him, have them come out and attack random guys for no reason and have them just show up out of knowwhere in the middle of matches and just beat people down before he comes out preaching his beliefs.

Hell you could even do that to the main roster on smackdown or superstars, have a match with drew mcintyre vs big zeke for instance and half way through four or five random guys just jump the barrier and beat the hell out of them both. Have a few of the locker room run down and jump in the ring and batter them, heels and faces just to confuse it more. Just as security are dragging these guys out have Bray Wyatt come out from backstage and announce that these guys are his disciples/followers and they will do WHATEVER he says, WHEREVER he tells them to and for the wwe superstars to be prepared for him because the end is coming.

dont know if that could work but just an idea.

I only have a problem with recycled characters, I am looking forward to see an original one. Bray Wyatt as most of you know has Dan Spivey character, the swag and the promos are very similar and while I think that "The Golden Boy" was better suited for that, I can also see some talent in Bray, he has the looks no doubt about it, the in-ring work I don't really know but I've read some rave reviews about him so I guess that he's good for his size, but what bothers me his is forced promos. When you compare both, you see a difference in terms of delivery, but I think that he will be able to reach it if given the opportunity and his recent injury is probably the best thing *booking wise* to happen to him.

Calm down, I don't want him any harm. I only think that he being able to appear at NXT as a manager will do wonders for his career and for his character. Cutting promos is the best way to get noticed in every wrestling promotion and if he has the "Stone Cold" like opportunity he will succeed and make a name from the beginning.

With that said, I'm not really a fan of the guy, I think he can progress and I will love to watch how he progresses in his career. I hope he gets the opportunity to shine.

Can I see Bray Wyatt being a WWE main eventer? Probably not. It isn't his talent. He has that in abundance. He's very young and really progressing. However, an extreme gimmick like that in today's WWE would be quite difficult imo to put into a lot of feuds where the championship is the main focus. He seems more sadistic than glory-hunting.

HOWEVER, this isn't to say I'm not a fan. I always thought the guy had talent, a lot of it at that and I really really enjoy his character. Yeah it's a bit of a Waylon Mercy ripoff but that character never got to reach its full potential because of Dan Spivey's early retirement. Bray Wyatt is a character with everything needed to become a fixture in WWE. Like I said, he may not main event but he'll damn sure be memorable. Everything about the gimmick is gold to me.

I saw it, & I absolutely love everything about it. My favorite part of Bray Wyatt is his wrestling, actually. The way he's able to translate his character into his moves & his style. Just that way he's able to merge it all into one. Hopefully, we'll be able to see more of his promo & manager skills while he's recovering from injury.

Kinda sucks that he was injured right before he was about to be brought back to the main roster....I was looking very forward to seeing him on Raw.

Bray took to Twitter saying that this injury wouldn't keep him down but a report that was posted on Wrestlezone suggests that WWE officials want Bray to take some time off to "get in shape".

What the hell...the dude has already lost weight and is barely recognizable with the weight lost, long hair and beard.

I guess WWE wants him to completely change everything about himself before bringing him to TV.

Real fans will still know he is Husky Harris but the little kids won't know who the hell he is, I doubt female fans would know either as most female fans only watch for Cena/Orton.
