Again, spot on. A paragraph of feedback about how I presented it, how it flowed, the actual booking, your thoughts and opinions about whether you liked it or not is far better than ten paragraphs that simply tell me the results of the show. I already know that because I, err, wrote it. I expect old Terry to come along and re-write the show for me.

That's international football, I'm afraid. France were so negative that they ended up being an embarrassment to themselves - getting beaten by Xavi, Iniesta and co is not a bad thing, getting beaten by them without even attempting to 'have a go' is shocking. However, I can semi understand France's reasons for being negative. I think they wanted to keep it tight until 70 minutes and then have a go. Unfortunately, they were 0-1 and couldn't get near the Spanish goal when they tried. Spain really disappointed me. They could be, if they wanted to, a real attacking force but they got 1-0 up last night and then played sideways, backwards football for 70 minutes to the end of the game.

Germany vs. England/Italy
Spain vs. Portugal

I expect Germany to beat whichever of England and Italy gets through (spoiler - England vs. Italy will go to penalties, you heard it hear first!) and I suspect Spain will triumph over the Portuguese. However, what Portugal have, that France didn't, is Cristiano Ronaldo. If Ronaldo is on top form, he could help Portugal upset the Spanish.

I hope Spain don't win the tournament - I don't think they will. My head says Germany, my heart says Portugal. Well, actually, my heart says England but I'm ruling that out now!
 
Keep the faith GCB, aside from a part of the Sweden game we have been solid at the back, I've got to say Carroll must start tonight! Not because I support Liverpool but because Chellini is out for Italy I think. Lets hope it doesn't go to penalties with our track record.

Exactly. I've skimmed over the show and found, so far at least, one big thing that made me question what you were doing but I think I know the answer you'll give me when I ask you about it.

Again, I'll give feedback when Sacrifice is done in a few weeks.

I think we could beat Italy (think it's 60/40 in their favour) but I don't see any situation where we could beat Italy, Germany and Spain/Portugal to win the Euros. The only possible chance we have is playing like Chelsea did but lightning doesn't strike twice and I would be upset if England ended their 56 year hoodoo with performances like the Blues did.

I'd be tempted to play Carroll. Welbeck scored a beauty vs. Sweden but the partnership with Rooney didn't work vs. Ukraine. The only think that might count against Carroll is that he could be thought of as an impact substitute - might come on twenty minutes from time to offer something different - Welbeck and Defoe don't offer that coming off the bench. Don't rule out Defoe from starting either - the script is written for him with his father's funeral and all that.

As for the defence being strong apart from a portion of the Sweden game, that portion of the Sweden game you mentioned really worried me. Italy will have noticed it, Germany will have noticed it. Two free chances for Mellberg is alarm bells for me. We've got better sides than France, Sweden and Ukraine to face now. 60% chance it ends tonight, 35% chance it ends in the Semi Final, 4% chance it ends in the Final and 1% chance we win it. Not confident at all.
 
I just hope Milner doesn't play! The main thing is what team we put out and if Italy have super Mario or stupid Mario! I think we've got a chance tonight but I think Germany will be a stretch to far. I'm not as bothered if Germany knock us out because my Uncle put me a bet on Germany to win and Gomez top scorer. :)
 
The show had been up just over one hour. How could you have read over the show in that time? What I think happened was you wanted to get a post into the thread, claim it as feedback and then ask GCB to return some because you had given him "feedback". It is almost impossible for you to have read the show already which would make the feedback pointless.

No not really, I don't give feedback to get feedback at all, I would still write a BT even if everyone hated it because I enjoy it, fair enough probably shouldn't have fedback so soon but that doesn't give you the right to tell me I'm trying to do something which I'm not.
 
Have the read the entire show?

If the answer is no then the feedback is pointless. If the answer is yes then the feedback is slightly less pointless.

Writing "everything was perfect" does not benefit the writer of the show at all. GCB said in this thread all the work he put into the event and he wanted to get some real feedback. If he puts in all this work to give us something to read then we, as his readers, should be ready to give him some feedback which can help improve his shows. When I do feedback I'll be talking about some of the surprise entrants and one who I feel shouldn't have been in the match at all. Some will disagree and GCB probably will but the point is that I'm giving him something to think about. That one point is better than what you wrote.
 
You know I agree with you I really do, what angered me was you accusing me of trying to get feeback which I really wasn't, I'm new to giving feedback so I'm going to read the full show and give a live feedback as best I can.
 
No don't give "live feedback" at all. Wrong idea, don't do it. Basically "live feedback" is just recapping the show. Stay far away from that.

Thanks for the feedback so far, JAM and TCoP. Some interesting points - I had a feeling that people would pick on my inclusion of Rocky. Purely to build NXT interest. As I've said before, I regret my choice of Rock for the role in NXT - like TCoP said, he is too big a star for the show. However, I've done it so I've gotta work with it now. Don't give up on it yet though, NXT is about to get real interesting.

Still on the tag match I was last week. Haven't made much progress with the PPV and with me being gone for the next couple of days little work will be done. Oh well, guess the wait continues.
 
Have 3 matches left to do for Genesis then it should be up my guess is by the end of the week but honestly no idea after today I wont be around for the next couple days.
 
Just finished writing RAW. Got to get a few things sorted before I can post it so expect it in a couple of days.

For those that do check it out, the 2 main storylines are similar to WWE atm, but try not to look at the actual matches themselves, but more how they're developing :)
 
It's so frustrating, I had so much written down and when I restore my tabs everything works except the WZ one? Damnit.
