Bombs Explode At Boston Marathon, Three Dead

Again you make us actual truth seekers look like fools. Good Job NS.

I'm sure we will get lots of truth after they kill the suspect and deem the case closed.

Funny you mention Waco, because it wasn't Waco. I lived in a suburb of Waco at the time. The siege took place in Elk, Texas, and it was undoubtedly a debacle. EDIT: This situation in Boston isn't the same as the Mount Caramel siege. Hopefully it doesn't turn into that.

Don't accuse me of talking about rights and the collective and the greater good. I've walked a middle of the road political stance my entire adult life, and I judge situations as they come. There is no one right answer, no magic bullet, no absolute philosophy or plan. I would hope my postings across these forums would reflect that, but if you think I'm a leftist hippie turned easily manipulated sheep, so be it. We don't really know each other so it's easy to make assumptions.

What is happening in Boston is what is necessary. The suspect is armed with firearms and explosives. That is known. He and his brother shot two law officers, killing one and severely injuring the other. That is known. He is at large in the greater Boston area. Again, known fact. Do you want this guy to be caught or do you want to turn this into a political discussion? I give you the choice. If it's the latter, then I'll take my leave of this thread.

I know it took place in Elk, but it is referred to as Waco. Of course I want him caught and questioned. He is still INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY in a court of law. The American people don't loose their rights because criminals exist. Criminals will ALWAYS exist, no matter what. To accept the F.B.I( who are known/proven liars) narrative as absolute truth is insane. I am not saying the suspects are innocent, but they are not necessarily guilty either. I'm not trying to call you a hippie or anything, I am simply saying murder and torture will not get us the truth. Have empathy for all, not selective empathy for who they tell you to feel bad for. Once again this is how Bush gained
national support for an illegitimate war.

EDIT: Obviously not the same as Waco, but Waco is a prime example of F.B.I lies/cover up.

If you haven't gotten the chance, check out Obama's speech yesterday. It's one of the best ones he's ever given and it's Campaign Mode Obama. Awesome stuff.

We can question the narrative all day long, but the narrative ain't gonna change once he's caught. If you don't trust the gov't, fair enough. I don't either sometimes. That's a moot point and discussing it will lead nowhere.

I fail to see how American citizens are losing their rights. The FBI's job is significantly easier without the hustle and bustle of a major metropolitan area. The suspect has fewer places to hide, as well. They're doing their job. If the city stays on lockdown once he's caught, then we've got ourselves an issue.

I support torture. It's a proven method of extracting information. If you don't that's fine, too. The gov't is going to do it either way, always have, always will.

I know the conspiracy theories are swirling right now, but how about we let the authorities apprehend the criminal, and then we'll talk about the political fallout? That seems more reasonable to me than saying that the FBI and police should just ease up on this guy because he hasn't been to court yet.

Torturing a suspect not on American soil is one thing, but torturing someone on American soil is quite another. On American soil, you have rights and torture is illegal and inhumane.

I guess they bought some supplies for the bomb at one of my local grocery stores, FBI is there now checking the cameras and shit. The younger guy was possibly in my area on Tuesday, they locked down the local hospital just as a precaution, and some helicopters landed in the local airport. Shit's going down around here.

Personally, I think the whole "not on American soil" argument for the support of torture is a crock of shit.

You either support the use of torture or you do not. It does not matter where it takes place.

I don't support torture. I was speaking from a legal perspective.

This is what martial law looks like.

#1 is dead. I can sleep a little better knowing that. The other is suspected to have bombs strapped to his chest and has switched cars. Don't talk to me about rights at this point. He needs a bullet through the brain and call it a day.

You do realize even if he did it killing him will only leave questions not answers. But I guess we should just give him the Oswalt treatment and kill him on live TV. Because you know that didn't leave any unanswered questions. You don't want answers you just want more violence.

Yep that sums it up basically. Does it matter why? Not to me. What's done is done. He took the lives of children, he's a piece of shit, and he deserves to be shot on sight. Riddle him with bullets like Sonny Corleone for all I care.

And you know he did it how?

If they find the dude and he's got a bomb strapped to his chest, I'd go the Occam's Razor route and say you MIGHT just have the right guy. That and his brother just died in a huge shoot out with the police. But sure man, if you see a guy on the grassy knoll I'd love to hear about it. It was an inside job, man!! Thermite in Building 7!

Don't even get me started on building seven.
