Bombs Explode At Boston Marathon, Three Dead

Which is why we shouldn't be focusing on the who... should be focusing on the WHY. Who gives a shit what they are.

Probably the same reason any psycho decide to kill innocent people. Badly influenced by the media he/she was consuming. Some play too much video games, some watch too much violet movie, some watch jihhadi propaganda videos.

I sincerely doubt the WHY will be enthralling either. These situations rarely come with reasonable, satisfying answers.

The first one got off easy. Terrorist fuckhead #2 deserves the full Marsellus Wallace pliers and a blowtorch experience.

Not if you believe in a heaven and a hell, he didn't. And they in fact, do exist. As someone who does, I'd say he'ld have been better off staying alive and taking the Ving Rhames' experience like a (very cowardly)man.
See, I'd rather he be taken into custody so that he could be interrogated.

Then tortured and killed, but get some info out of him first.

And today there was a shooting at MIT. Is this Boston or Gotham City?
See, being Gotham would be cool because then Batman would be there, and he'd find those asshole quickly (even faster then the FBI) and eliminate them.

From Forbes
One of two suspects of the Boston Marathon bombings, Tamerlan Tsarnaev, who was killed in the middle of the night, was intensely training as a boxer and hoped to represent the United States Olympic team according to a photo essay by Johannes Hirn, “Will Box for Passport,” TMZ revealed.

The photo essay, put together before the boxer competed at National Golden Gloves competition in Salt Lake City, feature photos that were taken while Tsarnaev trained at the Wai Kru Mixed Martial Arts Center in Boston, hoping to be selected for the United States team in order to become a naturalized citizen.

In the photo essay, a caption says that Tsarnaev is originally from Chechnya, but that he fled Chechnya with his family because of the conflict in the early 1990s, and lived for years in Kazakhstan before getting to the United States as a refugee. “I don’t have a single American friend, I don’t understand them,” he said.

Tamerlan described himself as a Muslim who didn’t drink or smoke – “God says no alcohol.” His hope was to become a naturalized American, as Chechnya is not independent, his reasoning for wanting to compete for America rather than Russia.

We also learn from the photo essay that Tsarnaev drove a Mercedes, loved the movie “Borat,” and had a girlfriend, who is also featured in the photo essay.

Tsarnaev, 26, was killed in a wild overnight shootout with police just after 2 a.m. His 19-year-old brother, Dzhokhar A. Tsarnaev is the second suspect in the Boston Marathon Bombings.
Reading this just makes me sad.

Reading this just makes me sad.

Doesn't make me sad. He killed, maimed, and injured countless people. I don't care if the bastard was Humanitarian of the Year last year, the world is better off without him walking around free.

If his message, whatever it was, was so significant that he could commit such a deplorable act, it would have manifested in one disastrous way or another.

See, I'd rather he be taken into custody so that he could be interrogated.

.

I would have as well, but as a believer in heaven and hell, I guess I have a hard time wishing the latter that on anyone.

And before anyone says "double standard" in my two responses, he chose his own death here as essentially suicide by cop.

Not me, check out that last line:

Makes me glad. One is dead, hopefully receiving the worst of whatever the great hereafter has to offer, and the other is identified, has nowhere to run or hide, and will hopefully be brought to justice very soon.

The younger guy supposedly went to a college about ten minutes from me. They evacuated it and shut it down too. Pretty crazy.

Sincerely hope that you and your loved ones are safe right now while the second bomber is still at large.

I wish this were true, but he's been evading arrest for a while now. Hopefully they get him before the day is done.

Then allow me to amend my statement to "...has the law closing in on him..." The point remains the same: that ********er is dead to rights, and it's just a matter of time before he either goes out like a coward, gets taken into custody, or has his twisted little brain exposed to sunlight.

Appreciate that good sir, I don't think he'd get this far though as it's about an hour or so away from where he was reported being this morning and I live in the ghetto with tons of blacks with big dogs and lots of guns and cops constantly patrolling anyway.

Still hits close to home. My mother was actually going to run the Boston marathon this year but decided not to so she could focus on training for the local marathon my city holds, good thing.

You people are disgusting. Wishing death upon someone named as a SUSPECT! The F.B.I said he was a suspect, NOT A GUILTY PARTY! Yet, you all sit here and condemn him to death, without a trial, without due process. This is exactly how Bush gained nation wide support for an illegal war. YOU PEOPLE ARE SICK!!!!

That suspect who evaded arrest and shot/threw explosives at officers looking to arrest him?

That means that he is no longer a suspect. He is a fugitive.

I was about to say...

But NS is right, he's still officially a suspect in regards to the Boston Marathon bombing. All we know right now is that he's a cop killer.

I do willingly admit, however, that it was wrong of me to wish death on the man. I rescind statements to that effect and will just stick to a Tarantino-esque brand of interrogation once he's apprehended.

Yeah, torture him that's so much more humane.

We gotcha, NS, you're on the high horse; we're sick and disgusting. Noted.

Moving along...

That's not even close to the point. The point is you all want to talk about rights and the collective and the greater good. Then when suspects are revealed all that goes out the window. Never mind the fact that they ask for the public's help and then say oh no don't look at anything except what we say to look at. Massachusetts and Connecticut are essentially under martial law for ONE suspect and that's okay. I get that this guy needs to be apprehended, but there is a right way and a wrong way to arrest someone, remember Waco?

Funny you mention Waco, because it wasn't Waco. I lived in a suburb of Waco at the time. The siege took place in Elk, Texas, and it was undoubtedly a debacle. EDIT: This situation in Boston isn't the same as the Mount Caramel siege. Hopefully it doesn't turn into that.

Don't accuse me of talking about rights and the collective and the greater good. I've walked a middle of the road political stance my entire adult life, and I judge situations as they come. There is no one right answer, no magic bullet, no absolute philosophy or plan. I would hope my postings across these forums would reflect that, but if you think I'm a leftist hippie turned easily manipulated sheep, so be it. We don't really know each other so it's easy to make assumptions.

What is happening in Boston is what is necessary. The suspect is armed with firearms and explosives. That is known. He and his brother shot two law officers, killing one and severely injuring the other. That is known. He is at large in the greater Boston area. Again, known fact. Do you want this guy to be caught or do you want to turn this into a political discussion? I give you the choice. If it's the latter, then I'll take my leave of this thread.
