Here is what should happen....

HHH vs. Bryan with the stipulation that if Bryan wins he is added to the Streak match against Taker and Lesnar, then that match has the stipulation that if Bryan wins he will be added to the main event, Bryan beats them all and gets the belt...

But seriously......
HHH or Vince decided that it was gonna be Orton vs. Batista and now they are to foolish to admit they were wrong and are going to go full steam ahead with their plan. For better or worse, as a compromise HHH will job to Bryan and he will get the strap at some lame B PPV at some point and have a few month run just to get the crowd under control.

This Mania should be the year lots of guys get a great moment and start to move up the card but unfortunately it will only be the guys who sit around the HHH Poker Table that get the headline spots and big pay days.

Even if they are able to get fans behind him on Friday do they honestly think it will carry into Chicago on Monday? You're gonna have a pissed off Chicago crowd because of no Punk

and Batista's name has come up as a reason that there is No Punk.

He better get beatdown badly on SmackDown and not appear in Chicago at all,lMO.

I also think it has reached a point in the WWE where the main guys are going to be Face or Heels depending on the opponent and will do whatever they have to do to suit the reactions they get.

Face or heel, it's almost a given that Batista is winning on April 6th, after all when was the last time a Royal Rumble winner didn't walk away with the Gold at Mania?

As for Daniel Bryan, if he isn't on the card in some way, shape or form at Mania, the IWC will whine and cry about it for weeks, but don't worry, even WWE creative aren't that daft, they'll do something or other with him.

It's a lost cause now. At this point, WWE could use Glenn Beck or Kanye West as opponents for Batista, and the fans would still boo him. Of course, Batista lashed out on Twitter the other day about his negative responses, while retweeting a bunch of ass kissing tweets.

As others said, the promo is airing on Smackdown, so WWE can manipulate the live crowd's reaction to the video. To make matters worse, if they're using the promo to fuel a more positive reaction, it'll be useless in the grand scheme of things, because Raw is in Chicago on Monday.

Without Punk, the fans will show no mercy on Batista, and there's a good chance he'll receive the worst hostile and venomous reaction during his return on Monday. Hell, there's a very good chance the fans in Chicago will tear Batista apart, if Punk shows up as a surprise, because Punk's not in the WWE WHC match.

WWE backed themselves into a corner with Batista winning the Rumble, because a. you can't turn Orton face now. We're too close to Wrestlemania, and b. WWE can try and spin this all they want to gain support for Batista or turn Batista heel. It doesn't matter. If it's Orton VS Batista one on one at Wrestlemania, the crowd is going to crap all over the match with no mercy.

Daniel Bryan beating the streak? You are clearly ******ed, I realise the IWC would literally cream their underwear if it were to happen, but Bryan has no place even in the same ring as the Undertaker IMO, especially not at Mania.

Relax. The OP posted this before the Smackdown taping occurred. They announced the Batista promo before it even happened.

Regardless, I just saw it, and it was well done. THIS Batista is what I want to see. How this meshes with him taking on another heel at WM is another story though.
