RIP Sgt. Michael Paranzino / RIP CM
Wrestlezone's reporting that Austin Starr has been suspended from TNA for 90 days. What do you guys think happened? Steroids? Never seemed like to much of a roided up guy to me.

This has to throw a wrench into their plans with wherever they were going with the Austin/Senshi/Backlund angle.

What do you guys think happened?

Either some sort of backstage problem with creative or a steroid bust seem to be the two that jump to mind first.

I think either a backstage problem or refused to travel or missed a show ? If you remember Aries was suspended before along with Rodrick Strong during there run as a tag team in TNA

Yeah in theory it does throw a spanner in the works for that story line. If it is true than it probably be for Steroids or Pissing off the wrong people backstage. But this could just be false and he needs time off for injury and thy explain it by saying he is suspended, it would be more interesting if they got The Austin Starr off of TV to heal an injury by saying that he was suspended.

I dunno with Kurt Angle and his linkage to steriods and if Starr did fail a test then he got suspended so TNA can make a point about it espically with the Angle thing. Injury is a bif iff for me as usually suspensions mean something bad happened in failed drug test or backstage problems

Yeah I really don't think it has to do with steroids, guy just doesn't strike me as having to do anything with them. Most TNA guys don't I think, I mean, it's not like in WWE where they have international exposure three times a week and have to look like bodybuilders.

I think it's probably just some backstage stuff. Maybe he got into a beef with Backlund or with the execs over there over the storyline.

TNA does not have steroid testing that I am aware of, so I don't think that woud be the issue. I'm leaning more towards a missed show or a disagreement over his schedule. Aries has always chosen ROH over TNA in the past if the schedules were conflicting. Whatever the issue may be, the suspension really pisses me off because Starr is my favorite TNA guy and he was finally being used in an actual storyline that gets air time!!

Your right TNA does not have a steroid policy. Aries will be missed because he's a great worker & I was really getting into the angle with Buckland
I'm really heading towards a fall out over his schedule.

I was glad to see Aries getting TV time, but the angle with Backlund sucks! Hopefully this just ends the damn angle, and hopefully he did choose ROH over TNA. It'd be nice to see that a guy like Aries can keep his priorities straight.

I think it's just the annual Aries suspension. They will be having promos again when they head towards Bound For Glory. Ultimatley when he returns he will still be missused. He's cot the talent and charisma to carry the X-Division even the company. If TNA want to susspend him for possibly missing some date's than that's there problem. I doubt Aries has to go around and ask for work. He'll have plenty of opions.

Starr upset management this past Sunday at Lockdown when he wore ROH shirt while representing TNA at their Fanfest. Then, this past Monday he was asked to shoot some promos and he was upset about having to do so, and the promos ended up being cancelled.

According to several superstars backstage, Starr isn’t the type to sit around and smile when he feels he’s upset on how he’s being treated. So Starr is very outspoken and honest when it comes to certain things, which resulted in his 90 day suspension

With him wearing a ROH shirt it might tell the TNA fan's something they didnt know. That Austin Starr (the flamboyant Jesse Ventura wannabe) is in fact Austin Aries (super over and uber worker from ROH). But wait why is he nothing more than a glorified jobber in TNA?

Who knows, does this mean we'll be seeing more of Austin in ROH? He always puts on better matches there IMO. Too bad though because TNA needs every talent they can get at this point if they ever want to stand up and compete head on with the WWE.

tna will never compete with wwe because of there timesolt and there owner is not super wealthy wcw was able to compete was because time warner owned them and he was worth over $10 billion at the time and he owned his own tv stations tnt and tbs and could put the show on anytime he wanted to

And what the fuck has that got to do with Austin Starr being suspended for 90 days? Is that you sean?

Austin Aires has been suspended for backstage attitude problems. You can almost tell that was the problem at first glance when you just look at him. It may be wrong to judge people that you dont really know but its just my opinion. I agree he could of became the new pioneer of the X division because he had heaps load of talent and charisma. Austin carried ROH as ROH Heavyweight Champion so he can damn well could of carried TNA as well. Also the breaking point for the suspension was when he showed up with a ROH t-shirt at the Lockdown fanfest. Who can blame he though really? ROH has done so much for him. They gave him a 6 plus month reign with the ROH Heavyweight Title. Another thing that made things worse for Starr was he voiced his oppinion on some of the promos they made him do. IMO, TNA is about giving TNA superstars more leverage when it comes to promos and the in ring work. Thats what differentiates them from other promotions. Austin had a right to deny some of those promos because as much as I like TNA some of those promos were pointless or boring.
