Austin Aries' Mcmahon comment on impact

I want to hear the IWC thoughts and speculations on the motives and reasoning behind the mcmahon comment made by AA tonight during the final segment of impact. Soooo.......

Wrestling promotion mentions another wrestling promotion and the world is suddenly ending.

Basically that Brooke would rather be Brooke Trump or Brooke McMahon rather than Brooke Hogan

Yeah because it ain't like the beloved WWE didn't do the same thing during the Attitude Era with those Billionaire Ted skits or having Triple H and DX invading the parking lot at a WCW show. :suspic:

TNA has done nothing but do that. WWE has barely ever taken a shot at TNA(I can only think of one moment when they acknowledged TNA). It makes TNA look pathetic when they're the only ones doing that.

I can think of three.

One was Jericho (I think) mocking Hogan's pose during the 4th January Raw.
One was Cena saying he'll walk onto another TV show.
Other was One night stand "Mr TNA"

Doubt it counts but there is footage of Todd Grisham taking a few shots at TNA when he hosted ByteThis! on the official website. Asides from that WWE has never really taken a direct shot at TNA, whereas TNA has. But as Coco said, that's TNA's style, they mentioned Ring of Honor the week before by name, they've obviously got freedom to mention who and what they like.

Totally irrelevant comment which means absolutely nothing. Just a little cheap heel heat by asking a "shot" (if you can even call it that) at the "competition". I thought very little of it, positive or negative. TNA does that all the time, no big deal at all really.

How the fuck was that a shot at WWE?

Styles wondering how people with AJ as their first name seemed to end up in soap opera stories was a shot. This was not.
