Are you happy that Shad Gaspard is in jail?

I guess it depends on what exactly happened. The way Shad's wife tells it, he was innocent.

Of course, in the Shawshank, they are all innocent. Lawyers fucked them.

If your standard of (acting) tough is met by my thinking (and implicitly communicating) that sharing a cell with Shad would be an unpleasant experience, then you just might have some re-thinking to do.

I really have no conception of how I may have acted "tough". But feel free to disillusion me.
You should go to jail, too. Maybe sharing a cell with Shad will help in seeing it my way.
I'd honestly rather opt for my tax dollars to pay for his death, but to each their own.
Your attitude sucks. We dont know anything about this story - from your dumbass posts, I get the impression you are some sort of right wing, white-is-right imbecile who thinks he deserves to be in jail because he is black.

You assume that he is white and hates Shad just because he is black, when he has never said anything to imply that he is? Your prejudice is really bleeding through here. Not everyone hates somebody purely based on their skin color.

So what about those quotations you excerpted? Notwithstanding my attitude, you asserted I had some sort of intent to come across as tough.

Both of those things I said -- actually, everything I've said in this thread thus far -- I'd say in real life. I fully don't expect to be ostracized or something for saying something so tame.

Maybe you're just more sensitive than I'd like you to be. *Shrug*

Oh yeah...

All counts of your impression are quite far off. I have no political affiliation, I'll concede to whites when they are actually right (as I would with anyone (also, I'm an Asian)), and I never said he deserves it. I did say, however, that I'm happy he's in jail.

Try again.

Well put, but I think we all need to address the possibility that Morriosn_Fanboy might be a self-hating black man.

Numbers, you are the one that brought race into this conversation, when it has nothing to do with it. Shad broke the law, and belongs in jail.

If I gave a crap, I'd reply to what you put there. Frankly, that makes little to no sense.

If my reply makes "little to no sense" to you, you might want to guess who's actually "fucking stupid". What part is hard to understand, pray tell?

Or could it be it's just harder to accept you're wrong? If you're going to retort, try employing an ounce of logic and I'll be happy to humour it.

You're being about as infantile as Shad's TV persona -- which might not just be a TV persona, but we'll ignore that.

Josh Barnett was with him too, and says that Shad's wife is telling the truth, although Barnett is a proven cheater in MMA by failing drug tests, so who knows?

Not happy at all. Especially not about something as ridiculous as jaywalking. But hey, if you're happy about the state the world's getting to and would enjoy jail time for trying to cross the street, then more power to you.

I, personally, appreciate a little more common sense and freedom in my country.

I'd like to jaywalk, too, but people like Shad would scare me enough to walk to the lights.

So the bright side is the people of Columbus can't jaywalk legally, but when they do, they have the option to jaywalk without Shad.

Hope that makes sense. :)
